I cannot recommend Peninsula Registration Services in Belmont, CA highly enough. I spent nearly a year trying to untangle a nightmare situation with the DMV while attempting to register my 1981 Fiat resto-mod from Chicago, IL. What should have been straightforward turned into a mess of DMV errors, VIN verification requirements, and what felt like endless paperwork. Every time I thought I was close, another issue surfaced. About a year into the process, I finally enlisted Ken -- and that's when everything changed. Ken immediately brought clarity and direction to the situation. He knew exactly what needed to be done, helped secure the required bond, coordinated the VIN verification, corrected prior DMV mistakes, and walked me through every step of the process. He stayed calm, professional, and steady the entire time, making something that felt overwhelming finally manageable. Without Ken, I truly don't think I would have ever gotten my car registered. If you're dealing with a complicated registration, an out-of-state vehicle, a classic car, bonded title issues, or DMV headaches of any kind -- call Ken. He's knowledgeable, responsive, and gets results. Thank you, Ken, for getting me to the finish line! read more

I had a long-standing issue with DMV claiming I had no insurance randomly, suspending my registration and then saying oh ok we guess you're fine. Ken from PRS was able to look into the issue and get me what I needed. Totally worth it, was able to have a normal discussion with a functional human being instead of having to deal with the DMV and lines. Totally worth it. Please take my money! read more

I inherited my dad's car, which was registered in Massachusetts. The DMV's site was pretty unclear in terms of what I'd have to do to get it registered in California. A few emails and a 10-minute appointment was all Ken needed to get the car fully registered. Fantastic experience. read more

I had an inoperable classic car shipped from Hawaii to the Bay Area. It was gifted to me by a relative in LA. I needed a VIN verification and registration transfer. I thought it was going to be a hassle because I couldn't take it to the DMV for the VIN verification and also thought I would need to go to LA to transfer the title with the previous owner. I contacted Peninsula Registration who was able to take care of everything for me, hassle free and at a very reasonable price. I didn't have to travel anywhere. He was extremely responsive and easy to deal with to boot. I highly recommend!!! read more

By the grace of God we stumbled across Peninsula Registration Services and Mr. Ken Leek while pulling our hair out trying to figure out how to get our out-of-state replica car titled. By the time I reached out to Ken, I was already on the verge of just giving up on the whole thing. Ken was gracious enough to take the vehicle on, despite us living at the other end of the state. He was patient with us and on top of everything from beginning to end. Getting near the end of the almost year-long journey, it almost fell apart. Here, Ken reminded us how valuable he is, as he got everything under control and guided us through to a title. This would never have happened without him. I can't say enough great things about Peninsula Registration Services. Worth every penny, and I will not hesitate to use their services at any and every opportunity to do so in the future. Ken's number is definitely staying locked in my phone. Highest recommendations. read more

I had a very tricky DMV situation and could not believe how fast and easy it was to use this service.

SO happy to have found this business! After buying a car from out of state, DMV was giving me all sorts of misinformation about registering it in CA with the (very complete) paperwork I had. The lines at DMV were way down the block as well so I was not keen on standing for hours. I found Penin. Reg. on the DMV website and called right away. Ken was very helpful and said he would have no problem getting the car registered. I drove over the next day and the process took less than 30 min. I got VIN verification, registration and CA license plates from him, and the title arrived from DMV within a couple of weeks! I definitely recommend you save yourself time and the headache of DMV by working with Peninsula Registration Services! read more

Well, it came my time where 2 ea of my personalized California Legacy license plates were stolen. What to do? According to the DMV, if both plates are stolen they can NOT be replaced! What kind of sense does that make??? Was at my wit's end on what to do. Met Ken Leek of Peninsula Registration Services on my local Nextdoor website where he thought he could help. How? No tricks, as someone who is bonded and works with the DMV weekly he knew the questions to ask. We were able to fill out two forms to process a new request for the personalize Legacy plate replacement. Although not in hand yet as it takes about four months to get them even if not stolen, we are keeping our fingers crossed. As many know, dealing with the DMV can be daunting. After working with Ken on this one issue, I'm kind of throwing my arms up in the future. Might as well just have Ken deal with the mayhem of any DMV issue down the road. read more

I called Ken Leek on 12/4/2017 to schedule a VIN verification, and he called me back immediately. He scheduled an appointment to come to my home the following morning. I was in a time crunch due to an out of state car purchase, so I really appreciated how quickly he set the appointment. He showed up to my home on time and was done in 10 minutes. He was courteous and professional, and I would recommend him highly without hesitation. It is rare these days to get such a high level of customer service. Thanks Ken! read more
