Holly Smog is a great place to get your car smogged. It's small, but even so, the mechanic was able to get to my car a bit before my scheduled time. I was in and out in under 20 minutes! They had competitive rates, and they often offer coupons. I'll definitely come back when I need to get the car smogged again. read more

Great service. Called the same day and was able to get an appointment for a smog check within the hour. I was in and out within 15 minutes. Tell them you saw their coupon here to get $15 off. Cost me $50 total for a smog check (2012 Honda). read more

Fast and easy. Mention Yelp for a cheaper price quote. It ended up being about $15-20 cheaper

Quick and easy! I called to make an appointment and they had times available day of and the next day. I went in the next morning and my smog check took only 15 minutes. Price is also reasonable - $65. read more

They were able to service our van last minute, with a very short wait time and for a low price! Super convenient location and helpful service. If you're ever in the area and need a smog check, check out Holly Smog! read more

Everything went as advertised. I called to make an appointment and went in and out in 20 mins.

Went very well. Failed at first but he gave me tips on what needed to be done to pass.

They always have a great service and quick. Definitely call before visiting, they can be busy.

Has to postpone service twice but they were efficient with both appointment and the service itself.

Took 10 mins. Scheduled appointment for 9am on Saturday and he was there and ready to go.

Made an appointment to have car smogged and was taken in immediately. Owner/Tech was really nice and professional. He finished the job efficiently and quickly. read more

This place is garbage. The ONLY smog check in town that charges you FULL PRICE even when your vehicle DOES NOT PASS the Smog Certification... Oh, but if you bring it back for a "re-certification' he will only charge you another $30.00 !!! I've put a STOP PAYMENT on what ever service he provided because this place is a TOTAL RIPP OFF... By the way, they dont disclose any of these to their customers until AFTER your car fails the TEST. read more

Andrew and his partner are amazing! I own a shop down the street and send all my customers, employees, and family here. They are great at answering the phone and scheduling. And once you arrive, you get to sit in a nice, comfy, air conditioned room with a cozy couch. The appointment is so quick and then you get to go about your day! And for $50 with coupon...this place is a gem! read more

I've used a few local businesses for smog test. At one location the tech didn't know how to drive stick and the car almost broke loose on the rolling road. Never had a concern at Holly Smog. They are always quick and professional. read more

I was in and out in under 20 minutes. Zero wait Honored the Yelp coupon and it was $50. Why can't all things be this simple.

Responsive, booking was easy, and smog was quick and efficient. I wouldn't say they are the cheapest but quality. Thanks again!

Reasonable price. Quick. Usually drop-in service. Last time I went he couldn't smog my car as he was booked. But he let me know right away and suggested I schedule for the following day. I found another provider, but probably paid a bit more. I like these folks. read more

Holly Smog - Elevated Street view of Holly Smog - Smog Check Stations Near Me - San Carlos, California

If I could put Zero I would. This shop forever tagged my car with a black mark with the DMV and Carfax. Forever making it impossible to both smog or sell my car. All I am trying to do is register this car. It's an original 2003 Cooper S. this isn't a modified street racer. This is a factory supercharged vehicle. He marked as modified with the DMV. I tried to take to another smog shop and they won't touch it. After examining the vehicle they agree its never been modified, however, it affects any smog business with the state with this black mark on the VIN. If they pass it they can lose their license from the comments on the state site from this shop. ***DO NOT TAKE ANY MOTORSPORTS VEHICLES TO THIS SHOP***** THEY HAVE NO REGRET RUINING YOUR VEHICLE RECORD FOREVER. SWINDLERS. They charge the fee and keep it before even getting to this point. boycott this business. read more

Had my car smogged yesterday day at Holly Smog, it was quick, efficient, reasonably priced and professional. The shop was clean, organized and well maintained. I drove up and was on my way in less than 15 minutes. As a woman taking my car for any type of servicing/testing I'm always concerned & a bit anxious I'll be taken advantage of. Needless to say I was impressed with the service & happy as I drove off. read more

I saw great reviews from Holly Smog on Yelp, and drove over on Saturday afternoon and was able to be seen right away! He did my smog check in 5-10 minutes and I passed! I mentioned that I came here because of the great rating on Yelp - 5 stars, and he took $15 off my bill without me asking for any discount. Class act - highly qualified shop that I highly recommend. I also ran into a former colleague that I have not seen in 9 years in the waiting room - and she has very high standards and says she only comes here! Great job!!! read more

First time here on a recommendation from my bf...called for an appointment & was done in less then 15 mins. Total cost was $65 and will certainly come back again. read more

I have taken my cars here for every smog since 2017 and have always had a good experience. They've always honored the Yelp discount. As of this review, the price for my particular car was $50 after discount. I called this morning right when they opened and got an appointment for the afternoon. Everything was on time and I was in and out in 20 minutes. Luis was very patient to me, chatted with me a little bit about cars, and helpfully pointed out a small fix my car needed. I'm glad to have a quick, reliable smog place nearby and will continue bringing my cars here in the future. read more

It's another smog check place so I think this place is fine for standard cases. I am leaving as neutral feedback as I can to inform that this place will not pass you if you have an aftermarket cold air intake. I had a CARB sticker but apparently it didn't match the model of the car. He only tells you that he won't pass you on the visual inspection AFTER he charges you which is my biggest issue with the way this transaction was conducted. read more

There should be 6 or 7 stars for some places. This place is great. I had to get two cars smog checked in the last week. The first one was a last minute, Saturday morning for a car I was selling. I dropped by and he accommodated my last minute need very quickly. So, today I went back for a smog check to register my other car. Inexpensive (and a coupon available on Facebook). Great service. Fast. Reliable. Very friendly. Accomodating. On-time. Take the hassle out of your required smog checks and go to Holly Smog. read more

Got a smog check for my car. Same day availability, very polite, everything took 15-20 minutes, all went super smooth.
