(Uber to airport is US$35, 40min drive) Amenities were adequate (they started charging for plastic stuff in 2026: shower cap, razor etc. It is a Hong Kong thing, not Hyatt). The shower pressure is strong, wifi is fast, housekeeping friendly and lounge is great. We had fantastic breakfasts in the Cafe and feel lucky to avail of the 40% off in-house guest discount for the weekend seafood buffet at HK$888+ It was a great seafood spread. We went to the Grand Hyatt for their seafood buffet but we love the HR buffet more than the Grand. Thank you Samuel Wong and Emma Lam in the Cafe for helping us graciously every morning. From the small plates menu, we thoroughly enjoyed the Fried Brussels Sprouts, as well as the Keto Moco--one divinely prepared fried egg on top of a (substituted) Beyond Meat patty, resting on a bed of cauliflower couscous and generously surrounded with savoury mousse. A unique and refreshing bite was the Tangy Pomelo Salad--a seemingly effortless balance of fresh and crisp textures with sweet, sour, and salty flavours. We also demolished the Animal Burger (substituted a Beyond Meat patty) with Fries--a classic snack that was, like all of the previous dishes, perfectly prepared, and satisfying. Not a single speck of dust or unwanted hair. I can feel that the carpet was shampooed. We booked the Family Plus: - one bedroom with a King Size bed. - two twin beds. - two desk areas. - dining table area. - master bathroom has two sinks, soaking tub and a separate shower with strong water pressure. - I was surprised to find a half bathroom. - there is a spigot, water is filtered and safe for drinking. - foyer area has a bench and shoe rack - free daily breakfast at the Lion Rock restaurant. - since HK rains a lot, you can borrow the hotel's umbrella with a $100 HKD deposit. Make sure you return them when you checkout so they can cross out your name or else you'll be charge. This suite is located at the end of the hallway, giving you peace and quiet. I have to give a huge shoutout to our lovely and darling maid, Hwa, who went above and beyond. Coming back to our room on our second day, she runs up to me and asks if I needed maid service. I told her not today. She kept insisting like 3x to empty all the trash bins and replace the used towels. After I kept assuring her that she didn't need to, she still knocked on my door a minute later. When she hurriedly finished she told me to make sure I have the green light on everyday so she can tidy up. I also appreciated that she wore slippers. That is what us Asians do. Lol. They advertise the "Harbour" view but unless you literally have the Harbour side room there is no real view. Oh and heard the pool is still closed.

It's not cheap but I think I will still stay here again given the convenient location.
