Elementary PTA in TX-- we love penguin patch! The sales people do push you to commit, but that is what sales people do. Once you are in though, it is amazing and you should have no reason to change. They make it easy for you to set up, offer affordable gifts to the students, and clean up. All items are in quarter amounts so the kids can easily count and learn how to use money. Volunteers also don't worry about messing up when handling money. The kids love the gift selection and they are quality products for the price. If you run out of anything, they overnight ship you more products. At the end, you don't count inventory, you just pack it up and send it back! SO EASY! read more

I wanted to share my experience because the school shop has genuinely become one of the sweetest parts of the season for us. My younger brother looks forward to it every time it opens and comes home talking about the gifts he picked and how much fun he had choosing them on his own. What stands out to me is the warm, community feeling the shop creates. The items are thoughtful, the prices are comfortable for all families and the whole setup has a cheerful, welcoming atmosphere. First time user and I'm extremely satisfied. Service representatives were very helpful through the whole process. We received a broken mug and they were able to replace it with no hassle. The kids loved all of the products as well, so much so that we had to overnight replenishment goodies to keep the shop stocked. Very pleased at how stress free the whole experience has been- we used to run our own shop in the past and that was incredibly outrageous compared to this year's shop. First time using PP for our holiday shop and phew, was that convenient! We used to put our own holiday shop together (hours upon hours of shopping the day after Christmas at all the sales with my wife), but it got to be too time consuming. PP provided excellent gifts (the coffee mugs and slime were huge hits) and killer prices and the kids loved it, but not nearly as much as myself and the rest of my holiday shop volunteers. Penguin Patch is a wonderful company, it seems crazy to me that people are complaining about the quality of the gifts. This is FOR the kids, they aren't buying $50 gifts for their families, it is supposed to be little tokens for them. Their eyes always light up when they see the gifts they can buy for their families. I volunteer at the elementary school where my son attends and we have used Penguin Patch as the holiday shop for the last few years. We have never had any issues with them! We do not use it as a fundraiser (not a big mark up) so the gifts are affordable for the kids. It also easy for us (the volunteers) to help run the shop because we get the stuff we need overnighted and do not have to count the inventory at the end. I was one of the lead holiday shop organizers for my school and PP made the process so much easier than previous holiday shops we have used. We're located in the bay area and were able to receive our overnight shipment of goodies after our first round nearly sold out- Impressive!! I was worried we wouldn't receive replenishment stock and the shop would fail, but we got our gifts and it was a huge hit. Will for sure use them again next year. read more

Not sure why Yelp hides all the good reviews! This company is AMAZING! They are local to our school so we never worry about low stock on products, they give back to our local community, they offer incentives for schools, and they offer to send a box of free gifts, just in case there are kids who cannot afford the regular gifts! I'm not on the PTO, I just volunteer. I offered to help with last years holiday shop since its a busy time personally as well as for the school. After researching a bunch of different companies to help make our lives easier, I came across PP and decided to use them! This is my favorite time of the year! Our holiday shop is the event our kids are most excited for. Our PTA loves going all out for decorations, we have a lot of incredible volunteers who are talented in decorating. This was my first year volunteering for PTO events, I helped out with the holiday shop. Penguin Patch seemed pretty easy, but it was really cool seeing how excited the kids were. If only they knew how long it took to make the tables look like they did and make all the igloos and paper penguins. The shop itself was super easy and self-explanatory which I liked. Our elementary school PTA has used Penguin Patch for several years. Our overall experience has been great! Highlights: overnight shipping, no inventory count, cute/affordable gifts, and box of free gifts for students that may not be able to afford it. Downside: we aren't able to use this as a fundraiser. What can I say that hasn't already been said! These guys are great! Their customer service is very responsive and the overnight shipping actually comes as promised. We also like the way they supply pretty much everything for you to run the shop (envelopes, wrapping, fliers to send home etc). We almost didn't do it this year because we thought it was too late but we signed up with just a few weeks before the holidays and everything came together perfectly. The whole process was so quick and easy even on short notice. If your school is on the fence just go for it because there really is plenty of time to pull it off and the kids will absolutely love it. read more

I help my wife out on the PTO and she's always stressed about certain events of the year. Luckily, since penguin patch does a lot for you, this is the one event my wife doesn't freak out on. We've used this company for several years and love being able to redeem our reward points for cool prizes. We've earned enough points to get 2 electric scooters which we plan on auctioning off at our spring fest. This year's shop was a huge success ($2500 in profit!!). This is a good company! They offer a good and affordable service for holiday shops in schools. They send a free box of gifts for any children that may not be able to afford the gifts. They give incentives to the PTO/PTA/Schools. They support their local community. All good things! My personal experience is that they are a good company. read more
