I login online, and can't because they login " claim to be called into my account from other numbers or institutions". This is not ethical of business, I am not very happy. Because my money and I need to see the balance in and out!! I don't want to hear anything bad about my account. I am not recommending anyone to this Texell anymore. And they don't get my account resolved soon I will not change the better review for them.

From the very first conversation, Eric was open and honest about our chances of approval and clearly explained the type of loan we were getting, along with the steps involved in the process. Throughout the entire experience, Eric kept us informed and up to date on every development. He took the time to listen to all of our questions and concerns, addressed them thoroughly, and made sure we always understood what was happening. His communication, transparency, and professionalism truly stood out. Eric made the loan process smooth and surprisingly enjoyable. He is kind, knowledgeable, and genuinely driven to help his clients get approved without putting them into a financial situation they can't afford. We are extremely grateful for his support and guidance and would absolutely recommend working with Eric Simmons at SouthStar Bank to anyone looking for a loan.

A Horrible Bank - JaneWatkins - Thursday, October 27, 2011…read more- 11:40 AM I opened a personal and business account with American Bank of Texas, NA on Adams drive in Temple Texas last year with over $30000.00. From the beginning I had problems with bank policies that required I come to the bank in person for things that other banks are able to handle over the phone. I decided it would get better as time went on. But it DID NOT get better, it got worse. I had my income tax return check sent to my account and they sent it back to the government!!! I was told I would have to sign something and then I could contact the government and have them send it again. It took me almost a month to get my return money. " They refused to cash a check I had given to a contractor when I had 10X's that amount in the account. Again I had to go in person to rectify the situation. After numerous other problems, to many to list, I went today to close my account and they refused to give me cash. They would only give me a cashiers check and when I ask why the only explanation I received was, "It is bank policy" This seems to be the only answer they have for anything. IF YOU DON'T HAVE ALL DAY TO SPEND AT YOUR BANK THEN DON'T USE THIS BANK!!!!!!!

Brittney said to come back today and they could help us. My husband said he had a bad feeling. The staff were dismissive and rude. But I told him to give them a chance. Maybe they weren't that bad. Oh how wrong I was! He was spot on in his assessment. The two women we dealt with today were absolutely dismissive, rude, and condescending. They don't have a business account specialist on site today? That's fair since it's a Saturday but it would've been nice if Brittney had stated that yesterday. When we stated we were told they'd be open and we could come in, the lady said "well we are open. We just can't help you." First red flag. Second red flag: another man came in behind us and the woman didn't even acknowledge him with a smile, a we will be right with you, nothing. Final red flag: the woman told us to go to another branch nearby and couldn't have been more condescending if she tried when we asked for the address, explaining that we were new to the area. I'm in education now but I worked in customer service for 25 years. I've experienced some of the worst and some of the best. This was by far some of THE worst.
