I called last week to check up on her, only to find out that she passed away 2 weeks earlier. No phone call, no letter, No notice. I am still trying to find out where my mother's corpse is located. Restraints are not allowed but they could have lowered his bed and put pads on either side of his bed. No, instead they called me to meet him at the ER. He just missed hitting his eye on the air conditioner and was a bloody mess. Very old, dark and dingy in appearance. I would never go back there again with someone I love. The next nursing home always kept his bed lowered to the floor with thick pads on either side to protect him should he fall.

After the first week they really don't pay any attention to your needs, favoritism towards patients with insurance of course they stay longer, taking advantage of people that are in dire need of help and sometimes have no where to go; ( Speaking from my personal perspective ) I did everything opposite per suggested, guess what? over a year clean. We immediately felt welcomed the second we walked in, and the environment felt like a safe, comfortable place. Our therapist, Miss Kaileigh, was non-judgmental, extremely friendly, and discussed what she thought the best plan of action would be. Miss Kaileigh quickly became my daughter's new best friend, and instead of my daughter dreading her therapy visits, she was SO excited each time to attend. Not only did Miss Kaileigh work closely with my daughter teaching her about food and nutrition, but she also worked closely with me and gave me ideas that I could do at home. We were a team. Within a few months of attending therapy, I could see positive changes in my daughter's eating habits, her level of energy, and most importantly, she was gaining weight and was excited to eat! After a few months, Miss Kaileigh recommended my daughter to see their Occupational Therapist, Miss Marisa, to help with sensory skills, fine motor skills, and visual motor skills. Each week, my daughter would work on these different types of skills and activities, and in no time, she was able to go on a swing, complete obstacle courses, and tolerate different textures. Much like Miss Kaileigh, Miss Marisa quickly became my daughter's other new best friend. When it came time for my daughter to graduate, it was a happy and sad moment. Happy, because she finally did it! And sad because that meant we would no longer see these amazing therapists who became like family to us! If you are (still) reading this and are considering AZOPT Kids Place for your child, you should stop looking and call them immediately. All the therapists and staff are so caring and knowledgeable in their areas of expertise. At the time I was living in Glendale and my doctor referred me to two different physical therapy groups in the area. I went as directed and was very discouraged and disappointed with the outcome. The pain relief if any was minimal. Then we moved to Prescott and I was directed to API physical therapy and Matt as my therapist. The difference was like night and day. After about 4 weeks I am feeling much better. Matt is knowledgeable, compassionate and caring. I still have aways to go but at least I know I'm on the right track. I was dealing with recovery from a bone break, nerve damage and nailbed damage, and while the surgeon had said therapy wouldn't be necessary, I was having trouble getting use and feeling back. A friend recommended Restored Hope. After just 1.5 months of visits, I was able to type and play the piano again, and not cringe when I looked at my finger. Tamera is amazing at what she does and truly cares about the recovery of her patients. Appointments were always punctual and thorough. She provided an at-home activity plan that I could access with videos/tutorials to reference too. Highly recommend!
