After recent arthroscopic knee surgery, my recovery was not going as well as I anticipated. I am an avid runner and hike rim to rim of the Grand Canyon every year in October and needed to be back on my feet. Dr. Bradley Williams recommended Nick at the Center for Physical Excellence. I have previously worked with Laura, but was happy to give Nick a try. He helped me to strengthen my knee, get it tracking correctly and re-build my stamina. The customer service at the Center for Physical Excellence is above and beyond. From the friendly staff to the knowledge of the therapists and assistants, I am totally impressed and happy. And during this time of the COVID-19 pandemic, their facility is clean and everyone wears masks to make for a very safe-feeling atmosphere. What an amazing therapy place, not only is there a fully equipped large therapy room, but there is also a salt water therapy pool and very large workout room, which after you graduate from your PT sessions, you are given a 2 week membership to use. My therapist was of immediate help to me for a partially torn ligament and tendon in my knee. I was already walking better with less pain after just one session and have been faithfully following my at home exercises and continuing to see improvement. I'm confident that I'll be back to my old self after my 6 weeks are done. read more

I just finished my 6 week session, and Cody was excellent. John worked with me as well. The assistants, Tashi, Nashoni, Diamond and Braedon were pleasant and competent. I told Cody of my balance problem and falling often, and he gave me 7 exercises for me to do daily, and it has helped. The office staff was great. I hope I don't have to go again, but as needed. I have been in PT for a couple of months. I have Fibromyalgia and had a serious flare that caused other issues. My doctor ordered Aqua Therapy. I was so weak I couldn't even cross my legs without using my hands. I've been working with Cory and Allie and they've been great. My improvement hasnt been a straight upward trend. It's been trial and error in that I had to learn to be realistic about what I could do and if I over did it, I'd aggravated it. Their support and suggestions have been invaluable. My muscle strength has greatly improved, my energy level is better and so is the fatigue. I've started sleeping normally and my other physical issues have improved too. I, recently I had surgery on my knee. I've ruptured my Patella, ACL, and MCL ligaments, folded my meniscus, and needed two surgeries. My first surgery was to repair my Patella ligament, and I was instructed to start going to physical therapy. This was the second time in my life that I needed physical therapy. I remember the first time I was in a different facility to treat my right knee from a wrestling injury back in high school. I have horror stories about this facility not wanting to work with me. I felt they didn't want to work with me because I was a kid. The place was packed with people, and there were not enough workers to help. I would only get 30mins of Physical Therapy. It seemed like they were short tempers. I had rude workers who did not care about my concerns. Recently, I had a different facility, a well-managed and better therapist facility slash team. I feel like they are the best of the best here in town due to them taking the time getting to know my injury and my concerns and help me out go through the process of physical therapy. When walking into it, the physical therapy offices are decorated with encouragement and inspirational posters that make you feel good inside and want to get better. People who work there. We're great friendly workers. It felt like they had more knowledge to help me, but you must trust yourself with him in physical therapy. I had a second surgery to manipulate my knee to bend to 90 degrees. I am now and still going to this facility for treatment, and I'm learning that you must trust yourself. read more

I would hightly recommend Center For Physical Excellence as they and their staff only want the best for us the customer. They give you print outs of what exercises to do when not in the office and do follow up...Mine was my hamstring. If you have a problem getting in, I suggest calling your doctor and ask for a referral as it will speed up the process and Center For Physical Excellence will work with you and get you in as soon as possible. Went to Physical Therapy for a torn rotator cuff. Objective was to tone and strengthen the muscles around my shoulder to keep from having to have reverse shoulder replacement surgery at this time. Therapy accomplished exactly what I needed. The PT staff was excellent, as was the office staff. I would highly recommend Center for Physical Excellance for any therapy whether it be pre surgery or post surgery treatment. This the only place to go for Physical Therapy in my opinion. read more

I started taking physical therapy appointments when I incurred a grade I acromioclavicular joint separation in the fall of 2018. I have never been to physical therapy before, but I was so glad I went, not only for working on joint stabilization, but everyone there was extraordinary. I have been going for about 2 months now and my joint has become far more stabilized than when I first started. I started working with the physical therapist Cerese and then Jerry Baker (random dates were setup and I just agreed to them all with both PTs in the mix). The technician Jeremiah was great and made my time there fun. I probably enjoyed going there more than most people to be honest! By the age of 71 I have developed physical pains. Hips and back, left shoulder are registering chronic pain levels ranging from 3 to 8, on a scale of 1 to 10. It hurts to walk, lift weights, etc. My wife, after years of encouraging me to come do A couple of Aquatic cardio classes and YOGA. Yuk! I do not like Yoga......... three weeks ago I started going with my wife and I am already experiencing a 50% pain relief. Not only did I use the Center of Physical Excellence for physical Therapy twice ( when I broke both ankles at the same time in 2017 and my wrist in 2018)but I have been a member of the water aerobics since then. I'm very impressed with the quality of the classes but also the professionalism of the teachers Susy and Alice. I'm also impressed with the staff of caring individuals that starts with the front desk and those that work throughout the facility. I have worked with Sandra regarding my water aerobics classes and find her very competent at her job. She is able to explain things to me and have me accept them the way they are... not necessarily the way I want them ...! Great employee. Also I have great regard And respect for Mendy who helped me with my insurance benefits and issues in my therapy days. Such great "people" who just happen to be employees too.
