So another medical professional suggested I should go see Dr. Williams again and he help me so much and doesn't just want to rush me into another Knee Replacement. After studying my Xrays carefully he stated that he wanted to try a more conservative approach with some shots to calm down the pain and clean all the junk out of my knee. Then he suggest looking into a lesser surgery on my knee. His whole staff is great and I love his more conservative approach to helping me!

When I first broke my kneecap, I went to Dr. Chun at Granite Ortho. He was rude and arrogant from the first visit. He did repair my broken patella. Sadly, two weeks later, my patella repair rebroke. The surgeon did not want to repair my kneecap a second time. He actually refused and said it would heal itself. Well, that, sadly, was not the case. Dr. Chun is no longer with Granite Ortho. Dr. Pifer required an MRI of my knee. Now, he believes that it is best to leave it as is for the next three years until the arthritis begins to cause noticeable discomfort. At that time, he will do a complete knee replacement. Today, Dr. Pifer gave me a steroid shot to ease the pain. My knee now feels fine. It still looks a mess, but it is working, and I can climb stairs with only mild discomfort rather than extreme pain. He indicated that the average time could be from 2 to 5 years without pain. Lastly, Dr. Pifer has prescribed a course of rehabilitation, something my 1st dr. did not even suggest.

He was rude to my wife in the hospital when she asked how long the surgery would possibly take gave her a smart ass answer. He has a god complex and a real self centered jerk. At the end of my time with him I had no problem telling him that he was a first class asshole. If you have other choices I would take them this guy thinks way to much of himself.

We immediately felt welcomed the second we walked in, and the environment felt like a safe, comfortable place. Our therapist, Miss Kaileigh, was non-judgmental, extremely friendly, and discussed what she thought the best plan of action would be. Miss Kaileigh quickly became my daughter's new best friend, and instead of my daughter dreading her therapy visits, she was SO excited each time to attend. Not only did Miss Kaileigh work closely with my daughter teaching her about food and nutrition, but she also worked closely with me and gave me ideas that I could do at home. We were a team. Within a few months of attending therapy, I could see positive changes in my daughter's eating habits, her level of energy, and most importantly, she was gaining weight and was excited to eat! After a few months, Miss Kaileigh recommended my daughter to see their Occupational Therapist, Miss Marisa, to help with sensory skills, fine motor skills, and visual motor skills. Each week, my daughter would work on these different types of skills and activities, and in no time, she was able to go on a swing, complete obstacle courses, and tolerate different textures. Much like Miss Kaileigh, Miss Marisa quickly became my daughter's other new best friend. When it came time for my daughter to graduate, it was a happy and sad moment. Happy, because she finally did it! And sad because that meant we would no longer see these amazing therapists who became like family to us! If you are (still) reading this and are considering AZOPT Kids Place for your child, you should stop looking and call them immediately. All the therapists and staff are so caring and knowledgeable in their areas of expertise. About 3 years ago I had 4 vertabrae collapse one after the other. I had never experienced such pain…read morein my life. At the time I was living in Glendale and my doctor referred me to two different physical therapy groups in the area. I went as directed and was very discouraged and disappointed with the outcome. The pain relief if any was minimal. Then we moved to Prescott and I was directed to API physical therapy and Matt as my therapist. The difference was like night and day. After about 4 weeks I am feeling much better. Matt is knowledgeable, compassionate and caring. I still have aways to go but at least I know I'm on the right track. After surgery I was referred to CPE for my physical therapy. Due to an uncompassionate workers compensation adjuster, I was forced to return to work early, giving me only one day a week for therapy. The staff at CPE showed true compassion over my situation and helped me with multiple exercises I could do at home. The CPE team are true professionals, caring, knowledgeable, compassionate, and an absolute pleasure to work with. They have been a priceless part of my healing process and I thank them from the bottom of my heart for their contribution to the exceptional healing I have received in my right shoulder.

Spent almost 10 minutes talking g to doc about the xray being mislabeled then he sent a xray request for the wrong hand. Wasted 4 hrs having to come back for another xray order for the correct hand. Now here for 2nd visit. Arrived 20 minutes early and waited 45 minutes after appt time before being taken back with different excuses about why. But front desk said almost always behind. He came into the room 15 minutes after.

Based on our experiences with their system of communication he would be on his own. We had a consultation with Dr Hijji about 2 weeks ago that went well. We were very impressed with Dr Hijji's approach and direct manner. During the appointment, Dr Hijji instructed my husband to provide him with recent MRI images and told him when he received/reviewed them we could set up a teleconference visit (we live 5 hours from Flagstaff) and he would provide his recommendations. Trying to submit the MRI images and schedule the follow-up tele health visit became a nightmare. I was first instructed to mail the MRI images to their admin offices in Phoenix. Several days after trying to contact his staff through his portal and receiving no reply I was contacted by Dr Hijji's medical assistant and she instructed me to send the MRI images to the Northern Arizona office location in Flagstaff. After sending the images and waiting 7 days to ensure they arrived I then called and received the message from the Admin staff that the images (CD) had not been received, Furthermore, they indicated they no longer offered Tele-health visits. I placed a message to the patient portal to Dr Hijjis team and received a message thru the patient portal that if I wanted a follow-up visit I would need to schedule an appointment at their Prescott location? I had been instructed to send the CD images to Flagstaff office. What kept running through mind through all of this is what would we be dealing with if my husband had the surgery with Dr Hijji and had post-operative needs. I will attest that Brit and Chris have an amazing facility here in Prescott- the best I've found either in AZ or CA. Their attention to detail and focus on patient well-being is second to none. Their approach is both friendly and professional with the entire team working together for each patient to make sure they continue to progress and improve. That approach extends to the office staff that greets you when you arrive, particularly Annika. The facility itself is bright, clean and spacious ensuring there is plenty of room and equipment for multiple patients to rehab at the same time. We are truly lucky to have such a great PT company here in Prescott. I give them my highest recommendation! P.S. My shoulder has improved immensely under their guidance and care.

I had the worst medical experience in my life at this Pain Institute. I met with Dr. John's and he…read morerecommended that I begin with least invasive procedure. After the procedure I was extremely sick and not only did my pain not improve it increased dramatically. I called for a follow up appointment and was told he does not take them. I met with Dr. Anacaya the following week and she agreed we needed to change my treatments due to the severity of my issues and that I would be scheduled to see Dr. Baumann in the next 1 -2 weeks. The scheduling desk called and told me Dr. Baumann is very busy and only works 2 days a week. My first appointment to begin my treatments would not start for a month & 1/2 and they would only treat one side of my neck at a time. My treatments would not be completed for 2 1/2 mos. I have confirmed with my PT and other Pain Centers that there is no reason to do one side at a time. Clearly they do not care about their patients even when they have had a extremely bad results and increased pain. I will be returning to Flagstaff Bone & Spine. I was hoping for local treatment. Obviously I would NOT recommend anyone to Central Arizona Pain Institute.

The medical team was exceptional in explaining my upcoming procedure and answering all my questions. Ms L. Santiago, NP and Dr. C. John were everything any patient should expect when seeking medical advice and/or care. A+ service!
