I have had RFA (radiofrequency…read moreablation) of the left and right S1 lateral nerve for sacroiliac joint dysfunction, as well as medial branch nerve RFA from L1-L5 to alleviate pain associated with facet joint syndrome. The procedures (two visits) were done without anesthesia and were relatively painless. The procedures were performed by Dr. Steven Siwek, who is excellent at performing minimally invasive procedures to treat conditions like back pain, nerve pain, and other chronic pain syndromes. Highly recommended for quick, professional treatment by a superior, caring staff.

I completely disagree with most of the reviews here, about The Pain Center in Prescott! I suspect…read moremost of them are junkies looking for pills. Unlike in CA, AZ doesn't just hand out oxycodone without making you jump through some hoops; you are not going to get an immediate prescription, and likely, no matter how long you've been taking oxy, they're rightly going to start you out at an entry-level, like 5/325, or they might start you off with Tramadol. I lived with back pain for about 15 years, only getting oxy. The Pain Center actually diagnosed the problems and suggested the surgeries & implant. I only take oxy now, like 2-3 times per month! I've been a patient of TPC for several years. I've been operated on by both Dr's Siwek (jr & sr), and by Dr. Park, before he left the practice. I've also been seen by Dr. Jones. All of the doctors and staff are outstanding! They do procedures, either in their clinics, or in surgery centers, which I prefer. I have bad arthritis all throughout my spine & pelvis. I had an Abbott neurostimulator, with two leads up inside my spinal canal that helps mitigate my lumbar pain, and I recently had both my sacroiliac joints fused. Dr. Siwek (jr) did the Abbott implant, and Dr. Siwrk (sr) did my two SI fusions. It can be difficult to have a sit-down, face-to-face meeting with the TPC doctors, due to time constraints, especially in Prescott, but they're excellent surgeons. One of the criteria I use for recommending *ANY* doctor, is that they must have a good sense of humor, and not take themselves too seriously. That's been my experience with Dr's Park, both Dr's Siwek, and Dr. Jones: They are all good-natured, and easy to talk to. And IMO, the staff at the TPC Prescott clinic, and the staff at ASSC are also top-notch. If all you want is oxy, go to a pain management clinic in CA, or buy your drugs off the street. Arizona has a drug problem, and they've rightly made it harder for addicts to get drugs. I got the surgeries because I wanted to get off the drugs!

Then shortly after, Paula said, no, you need to find a new Dr. Then Dr. R said, no we can still do telemed, and I paid for an appointment to get an accommodation with my employer. Recently, when I needed to add to my open-case accommodation for the same issue (getting a doctor's note) I was told I need to pay $125 for a visit. My electricity is due to be shut off in a week and I started crying because I need some help to keep my wonderful job, but didn't have $125 at the time. What happens next? I get fired as a client all of a sudden!! All I can say is, **manage your expectations with these people**. Is it not EXTREMELY FISHY that they initially were fine with me paying for another appointment ($125 for just a NOTE which I find exorbitant) and when I don't have the $$ I get an email saying, CAN'T HELP, get a local doctor. "We wish you all the best" I was in need of help and support. NOT getting jerked around several times, and then suddenly let go as a patient!! I guess if I just would have said, yes, let's make a $125 appointment none of this would have happened. I very strongly question the ethics of these people. To me, it reeks of classic GREED and heartlessness. I know others in Prescott who have experience the same money grab. Very sad!!

EMF fields aren't imaginary, and any naturopath who insists on conducting business over the phone isn't doing a good job of keeping unnatural toxic environmental factors out of their patients' personal experience.

The old lady answering the phone has a few screws loose, and that's putting it mildly. Read these other google reviews and you'll see what I mean. My Insurance does not require a referral. I called, and the rude old receptionist claimed they were not taking any new patients. So, I scheduled an appointment with my primary doctor, and guess where he is referring me...LOL. I said to my PCP but I thought they weren't taking anymore patients, he said "not that I'm aware of, I just referred someone there". Haha I think doctor O'Connor needs a new person answering his phones because this old bag clearly has dementia. Fast forward two weeks: I called to see if they have received my referral and to schedule my appointment. Guess who answered the phone, if you guessed the same lady as before you would be correct! Now, she is claiming "they do not take my Insurance". I let the old bag know that this provider comes up on my Insurance portal list, I know those lists can be outdated, so I called my Insurance and they are showing this provider as being active. She made it sound like they only take Medicare (which I'm sure is NOT true). Then she proceeded to tell me "with that Insurance you will be probably have to go down to the Valley". She named some Neurologist that does not even exist in the Prescott area ( I think this old bag needs to retire because her dementia is terrible!). The old bag at the front desk will become combative and rude, even cut you off if she doesn't like what you have to say. I am amazed that nobody has complained about this lady. She makes things up as she goes, and is preventing people from seeing the doctor. Just a nasty human!

She wasn't rushed and actually listened to me. Her bedside manner is awesome. And you can just tell that she's a wonderful person when you meet her. I was having massive nose bleeds at the time of my appointment. I was 8 weeks pregnant and my nose wouldn't stop bleeding. She tried to cauterize it but decided it would be better for me to see an ENT(ear, nose, throat) doctor. She called the ENT right in front of me and said I needed to be seen immediately. She got me in that afternoon. She actually wanted to help me (and did help me)! She didn't just rush through our appointment and tell me to see an ENT. She made it happen. I highly recommend Dr. Price.

I visited Dr. Price for what felt like a potentially acute situation (uncharacteristic headaches,…read moredizziness unrelated to an injury), and her office was able to see me within days (a generic appointment might take months to set up). I was seen 20 min before my appointment and her assistant Jennifer was comprehensive and professional and thoughtful setting me up well to visit with Price. Price was the consummate professional healthcare provider in an old-school sort of way. Calm, collected, compassionate, engaged, engageable, professional, considerate. She is a deep and patient listener and willing to share her own personal perspectives (with modesty) as she fine tunes her focus on me and my needs. (I deeply appreciate the easy-going, good-natured give and take.) She took her time to develop her understanding of my condition through conversation and physical exam to rule out stroke and other possibilities. Her easy-going, relationship-building approach was so reminiscent of how doctors used to behave--how doctors used to interact. I was, frankly, blown away by her humanity as I haven't seen that high a level of quality care for a long while. She sensed instantly that I am a collaborative sort of patient who shares in the health care examination process by providing broad and specific information and even propose hypotheses. As if right on cue, she took all those data and fielded them deftly, providing insights and perspectives and leading to a diagnosis that felt on target. Rarely do I find a doctor who is so openly willing to share in the healthcare process with their patients. Dr. Price is every bit that rare doctor who is exclusively there for her patients' well-being. As I departed, I asked if she was accepting new patients, and essentially she told me she was full. I am already set up to start with another doctor in the coming months (also very well-regarded), but will try to squeeze my way into be becoming Dr. Price's newest patient as she is essentially everything one could hope for in a PCP.
