Been going to Dr Sam for over a year! Began going when I had severe neck pain and stiffness. I have suffered from migraines and back issues since high school. My family has lots of migrain issues and my mother recommended Dr. Yamamoto to me a few years ago and I have been going ever since. I went for my migraines but also mentioned my lower back issues. He had no problem treating them both. He gave me an exercise to try for my back and he was correct. If I do the exercise 1-2 times a week, I rarely have back issues. I go in about once a month for my migraines and a back adjustment. So, I've been here a couple times and honestly didn't have a good experience. There was a few times where he was trying to adjust me and nothing cracked and I was just left with a lot of pain. Sam told me that it's going to take at least 6 months and 2 times a week for my back to get better, but after I told him I don't have that kind of money to go in twice a week for six months he said you'll be fine if you come once a week for a month. But, since every time I went I didn't feel any better, I decided not to go back and I got a few calls from the receptionist and I told her that I'm not interested anymore, but they kept calling so I started to ignore them. The main reason I'm posting this is because earlier today they decided to call me from a different number to get a hold of me. Not only did I tell them I don't want to go anymore and they kept calling, they used a different number to contact. I don't usually post negative comments, mainly because I'm too lazy and have better things to do, but I thought that it was really inappropriate for them to contact me like that. If you're looking for a chiropractor I would avoid this place at all costs, unless you want them to keep contacting you after you tell them you don't want to go there. read more

I've been a patient of Dr. Sam's for almost 4 years. Originally, I was recovering from a broken neck and residual nerve damage. I have never taken pain medication and was looking for an alternative for my discomfort without further surgery and was referred to Dr. Sam by my neurologist. The pain relief was immediate as well as better rotation in my neck. I continued on a maintenance plan as I was now able to go back to hiking, running and dance classes. Most recently, I experienced a lower back injury and couldn't even move without pain. Dr. Sam's treatment straightened me right out as well as his recommended core strengthening exercises and 20 minute yoga videos. I like his gentle and holistic approach.
