(I was told 6+ months for recovery) Getting to know Kurt & Kim Draper, I've really been fortunate to meet such experienced and caring people. Kurt is very hands-on, explaining what he's going to do and why. He immediately determined I was having neck issues at night from favoring one side over the other, and provided excellent relief and care, which allowed me to sleep through the night - something I hadn't been able to do for almost two years. I believe this contributed greatly to my speedy recovery. You will not find a better team to help you through your recovery. I came back to Granite for a second opinion on a recent ankle break. I knew the ER had missed something because I've been walking on it with tolerable pain- now it's getting worse. I thought maybe it had healed wrong. In-house imaging showed that the sprain had dislodged a protruding bone. Dr. Simonson wrote for a stability brace, so I got it, wore it a couple times and now the pain is worse. It's the wrong brace for my injury. I explained to his MA twice, the pain is worse, asked for NON NARCOTIC pain medicine. I shouldn't have to feel guilty asking for a muscle relaxer and some extra strength Naproxen. I'm not a drug addict. And I hate being treated like one. Simonson should follow up with his All patients after their initial visit. To make sure people get better. Not worse.

There is no attempt made by any of the staff to clean the equipment and the beds that are used for exercises, in between clients. There is also no attempt made to wear a mask by any of the staff, and many of those attending for physical therapy are seniors and I'm sure are compromised in their health. At minimum, there should be a sign as you enter, stating that a mask will be worn by the therapist upon request. But it's stunning to me that a medical related facility that offers the close physical contact of a physical therapist, does not wear masks as an important consideration to their business.

I had a single bed room and it was very comfortable with a large bathroom. Their plan is to get you up and moving. The dining room food was good with many choices plus they are informed of each patients dietary restrictions. The staff if very friendly and helpful to your needs. They also have an inexpensive meal program for your family who might be visiting during a meal time. After surgery I was referred to CPE for my physical therapy. Due to an uncompassionate workers compensation adjuster, I was forced to return to work early, giving me only one day a week for therapy. The staff at CPE showed true compassion over my situation and helped me with multiple exercises I could do at home. The CPE team are true professionals, caring, knowledgeable, compassionate, and an absolute pleasure to work with. They have been a priceless part of my healing process and I thank them from the bottom of my heart for their contribution to the exceptional healing I have received in my right shoulder.

He is treated me for about a year and a half however, the staff are extremely rude and only make appointments when it's the easiest for them. (I.E every Wednesday for one patient and zero wiggle room for another day same patient). For example: A couple of weeks ago my wife and I tried to change some appointments around and, according to the first medical assistant, there was absolutely nothing available to book when only just a few short minutes later, a gentleman came out of the treatment room and asked if he could reschedule some appointments and then all of a sudden she had availability on the following Thursday in the afternoon which was what I wanted instead of an eight in the morning appointment. That doesn't work out best for people who work or who own their own business and cannot make it. The staff like to pick and choose who they want to service properly and treat ones that they do not like with bad service Jim I hope you are reading this. I'm sorry, but this is the only way in order to get through to you to hopefully make you understand that you need to make some changes in your staff. Also, even though in the system they are in the networks for Blue Shield , the staff claim that they are not which they're losing out $1600 per quarter year. For anyone who just moved here out of state with different type of insurance such as a PPO just know that the staff will not work for you until Jim does something about it. I would address this because according to dignity HEALTH, you are still in network which you need to change. If you do not accept this type of Insurance, let your staff know.

She answered all of our questions and consistently checks in on his progress. She also takes the time to attend conferences so she can bring new, research-backed techniques into the office. The receptionist, Aubrey, always greets us with a smile and helps to accommodate our scheduling needs each week. Taylor is my son's therapist, and she is fantastic! He's made so much progress with her this year. Stronger core, better balance, more spatial awareness, and more... She doesn't let him slide or goof off during the session and has helpful "homework" assignments for us to do at home. My son always has fun with Taylor. She mixes up activities to keep things interesting, and he loves playing around in the foam pit. Recently, Taylor even added a new "Dungeons & Dragons" theme to keep him and his partner motivated. It really boosted his enthusiasm, and he looks forward to therapy each week! I highly recommend this team, based on our positive experience!
