We immediately felt welcomed the second we walked in, and the environment felt like a safe, comfortable place. Our therapist, Miss Kaileigh, was non-judgmental, extremely friendly, and discussed what she thought the best plan of action would be. Miss Kaileigh quickly became my daughter's new best friend, and instead of my daughter dreading her therapy visits, she was SO excited each time to attend. Not only did Miss Kaileigh work closely with my daughter teaching her about food and nutrition, but she also worked closely with me and gave me ideas that I could do at home. We were a team. Within a few months of attending therapy, I could see positive changes in my daughter's eating habits, her level of energy, and most importantly, she was gaining weight and was excited to eat! After a few months, Miss Kaileigh recommended my daughter to see their Occupational Therapist, Miss Marisa, to help with sensory skills, fine motor skills, and visual motor skills. Each week, my daughter would work on these different types of skills and activities, and in no time, she was able to go on a swing, complete obstacle courses, and tolerate different textures. Much like Miss Kaileigh, Miss Marisa quickly became my daughter's other new best friend. When it came time for my daughter to graduate, it was a happy and sad moment. Happy, because she finally did it! And sad because that meant we would no longer see these amazing therapists who became like family to us! I have now "graduated" to the attached gym and weight room. It was through the guidance of Debbie, physical therapist, that I was introduced to low impact machines/weights that will help me strengthen my knees. I found the gym associates to be very friendly and right there to help you on any machine. My husband and I are fortunate to be able to use the facility free of charge because of our insurance benefit called Silver Sneakers. We are really going to enjoy using this facility-clean, friendly, and filled with machines that fit the bill!

She was an extreme fall risk, dementia. Did they try to stop her, NO. First, she tried to escape, then she ended up in the E.R. with a broken neck at C-2 level. Known as the hangman's break. No help, just excuses. After all she was a D.N.R. And then, a lot of morphine to dull things even more. These things happen, don't you know?? Just covering their asses, and Covid is the great excuse. I called last week to check up on her, only to find out that she passed away 2 weeks earlier. No phone call, no letter, No notice. I am still trying to find out where my mother's corpse is located. Restraints are not allowed but they could have lowered his bed and put pads on either side of his bed. No, instead they called me to meet him at the ER. He just missed hitting his eye on the air conditioner and was a bloody mess. Very old, dark and dingy in appearance. I would never go back there again with someone I love. The next nursing home always kept his bed lowered to the floor with thick pads on either side to protect him should he fall.

About 3 years ago I had 4 vertabrae collapse one after the other. I had never experienced such pain…read morein my life. At the time I was living in Glendale and my doctor referred me to two different physical therapy groups in the area. I went as directed and was very discouraged and disappointed with the outcome. The pain relief if any was minimal. Then we moved to Prescott and I was directed to API physical therapy and Matt as my therapist. The difference was like night and day. After about 4 weeks I am feeling much better. Matt is knowledgeable, compassionate and caring. I still have aways to go but at least I know I'm on the right track. They have "misplaced" my fathers electric wheelchair, personal items, clothing and money. They tried to do better like get my father up for meals, but everyday that I have gone recently he is in bed or maybe a wheelchair in his room. I understand that it is a residents right to determine where they want to eat but to leave them in the same room for weeks is poor care. Tried to get me to place my dad on hospice when he isn't in need so they can bill ALTCS for hopsice care at a higher rate frauding the insurance company.

All I can say up to this point is that all our fears are gone. It is everything they claim it is online and more. She is being supported in every single way possible. From addressing her addiction, her mental health, physical health, everything. The facility reaches out to me weekly to give me updates on her as well. I have had alot of experience with rehabs and know that it's rare when you get ALL of these things or that what it claims it is online, isn't what it is when you get there.
