Dr. Bradley Williams recommended Nick at the Center for Physical Excellence. I have previously worked with Laura, but was happy to give Nick a try. He helped me to strengthen my knee, get it tracking correctly and re-build my stamina. The customer service at the Center for Physical Excellence is above and beyond. From the friendly staff to the knowledge of the therapists and assistants, I am totally impressed and happy. And during this time of the COVID-19 pandemic, their facility is clean and everyone wears masks to make for a very safe-feeling atmosphere. I am happy to report that, with the help of Nick and their amazing staff, I am well on the road to recovery.

There is no attempt made by any of the staff to clean the equipment and the beds that are used for exercises, in between clients. There is also no attempt made to wear a mask by any of the staff, and many of those attending for physical therapy are seniors and I'm sure are compromised in their health. At minimum, there should be a sign as you enter, stating that a mask will be worn by the therapist upon request. But it's stunning to me that a medical related facility that offers the close physical contact of a physical therapist, does not wear masks as an important consideration to their business.

We immediately felt welcomed the second we walked in, and the environment felt like a safe, comfortable place. Our therapist, Miss Kaileigh, was non-judgmental, extremely friendly, and discussed what she thought the best plan of action would be. Miss Kaileigh quickly became my daughter's new best friend, and instead of my daughter dreading her therapy visits, she was SO excited each time to attend. Not only did Miss Kaileigh work closely with my daughter teaching her about food and nutrition, but she also worked closely with me and gave me ideas that I could do at home. We were a team. Within a few months of attending therapy, I could see positive changes in my daughter's eating habits, her level of energy, and most importantly, she was gaining weight and was excited to eat! After a few months, Miss Kaileigh recommended my daughter to see their Occupational Therapist, Miss Marisa, to help with sensory skills, fine motor skills, and visual motor skills. Each week, my daughter would work on these different types of skills and activities, and in no time, she was able to go on a swing, complete obstacle courses, and tolerate different textures. Much like Miss Kaileigh, Miss Marisa quickly became my daughter's other new best friend. When it came time for my daughter to graduate, it was a happy and sad moment. Happy, because she finally did it! And sad because that meant we would no longer see these amazing therapists who became like family to us! If you are (still) reading this and are considering AZOPT Kids Place for your child, you should stop looking and call them immediately. All the therapists and staff are so caring and knowledgeable in their areas of expertise. About 3 years ago I had 4 vertabrae collapse one after the other. I had never experienced such pain…read morein my life. At the time I was living in Glendale and my doctor referred me to two different physical therapy groups in the area. I went as directed and was very discouraged and disappointed with the outcome. The pain relief if any was minimal. Then we moved to Prescott and I was directed to API physical therapy and Matt as my therapist. The difference was like night and day. After about 4 weeks I am feeling much better. Matt is knowledgeable, compassionate and caring. I still have aways to go but at least I know I'm on the right track. If you don't want a meal, they still sereve it to get those $ I got hurt there, they never examined me. A STAT MRI order was placed, it took five days to get me to a hospital. The therapist and orderlies are fine, with one exception. They had a class exerxise that not only put patients at risk, it brought them and famly members to tears. The grounds are not safe for handicapped or visually impaired. Equipment, like for eyes, hasn't been updated for 19 years (when I was there). It should be shut down.

The hospital staff, nurses, doctors, nurse assistants and the therapy staff were very efficient and friendly and knowledgeable of my condition and needs. I had a single bed room and it was very comfortable with a large bathroom. Their plan is to get you up and moving. The dining room food was good with many choices plus they are informed of each patients dietary restrictions. The staff if very friendly and helpful to your needs. They also have an inexpensive meal program for your family who might be visiting during a meal time. Over all I would recommend this hospital if you are serious about getting back on your feet safely as soon as possible with the proper PT and OT therapy. Carol S.

I came back to Granite for a second opinion on a recent ankle break. I knew the ER had missed something because I've been walking on it with tolerable pain- now it's getting worse. I thought maybe it had healed wrong. In-house imaging showed that the sprain had dislodged a protruding bone. Dr. Simonson wrote for a stability brace, so I got it, wore it a couple times and now the pain is worse. It's the wrong brace for my injury. I explained to his MA twice, the pain is worse, asked for NON NARCOTIC pain medicine. I shouldn't have to feel guilty asking for a muscle relaxer and some extra strength Naproxen. I'm not a drug addict. And I hate being treated like one. Simonson should follow up with his All patients after their initial visit. To make sure people get better. Not worse.
