A very nice garden center that you can even bring the kids to for some fun. A great thing to do on the weekend! They have turtles, rescue birds, goats, and alpacas. There is a nice little pond with fish you can admire by the beautifully landscaped surrounding. I look forward to going back without the toddler to get recommendations on appropriate bushes for our space. Lots of outdoor landscaping bushes and trees! They even have some carnivorous plants you can pick up.

I am in love with this place!! Lots of plants, succulents, trees, herbs, pottery, and so much more. There's a pond where you can sit on short pier and feed koi fish for 25 cents! When your looking around at plants you'll see hidden gems in the scenery like dinosaurs and metal animals.. knees.. very cute! There's also an array of animals like turtles in a small pond , goats in fenced off pasture, llamas, there's lots to see then there's the plants! Hanging plants big and small.. prices from like 4.00 and up depending on how big and what it is! The staff was very nice and friendly.. asked if I needed help finding things.. the place is huge so spend some time and enjoy it.. there is places on grounds to sit and take it all in.. I'll have to bring my hubby next time I think he'll enjoy it too

Beautiful Gloria Rose baskets. This place was amazing. I could have spent all day there!

Pender Pines is right down the road from us and it has so many positive qualities. When we first moved here I had a plant in our front yard that I wanted to get another of and I took a picture and showed a girl working there and she was able to tell me it's name and where to find another one on their property. Additionally they have a little gift shop that has a bunch of cute things for gardeners ( melissa and Doug kids gardening tools too). They also have a great selection of vegetable plants and annuals. However, for us, the best part are the animals. My daughter and I go when we have left over veggies to feed the goats (they have a sign showing what you can bring to feed them). Then we make our way to the koi pond where they have a 25 cent machine to feed them before heading to see the birds in the indoor plant section. The birds are very cool.

The lovely garden pond area.

Stopped here with a friend who was looking for several plants for her garden. It was not crowded, only several other shoppers there . Looking around a lot of the plants and trees looked under watered and very sad. Did not come away with any plantings for her garden. Did discover that they have a nice resting area- koi pond, waterfall plenty of shade and a large piece of artwork.

This is one of the best garden centers in the area. We stopped in on Father's Day and they have all kinds of plants, shrubbery, tropical foliage, herbs and landscaping options. There are parrots, goats, ostriches and animals to see and great for kids and adults alike. The prices are very reasonable and the staff extremely helpful. Support local and check them out.

My friends are frequent visitors of Pender Pines and they brought me out for my first time. I loved it! It was much bigger then I thought it was, especially being right off the main busy road. It was much more then just a garden center and that's what's made me love it more. There was a humongous coy pond that you can walk out and feed them (cost 25¢ for food). There are tons of different colors and sizes of fish, it was so cool to see. They had SO many plants, flowers, trees and more!!! If you keep walking towards the very back of the garden you'll find something even more special/surprising, goats! Llamas and a donkey! You can also feed them (25¢) . Then inside the greenhouse there are parrots and other birds all over, they're very beautiful. I can't wait to come back.

We didn't plan on coming here and passed by it at first but turned around to check it out. I'm so glad we did! It was so fun and relaxing. Had an opportunity to feed the fish and animals.

Good selection, extremely high prices. WARNING ! They do not accept returns and good luck getting something covered under warranty.

The tree died shortly after 3 months (coincidently the allotted warranty period). Brad told us that he would not warranty the tree and it would be another $500 for a new one and $200 for removal of the old one. 4 of the bushes also look not well and it's questionable if they will make it or not. In addition, he tried to blame our irrigation system on the tree-death; which he also installed and it doesn't go anywhere near the tree. Call me crazy, but if someone just dropped $40K worth of work on my business, I'm going to warranty a $500 tree, no questions asked. Poor business on your part Brad. There's plenty of other options here in the area to choose from, you won't get our support going forward.

Incredible folks & amazing experience - Cindy is the best!…read more We looked around at different places for Palm-Trees (just wanted small ones & didn't have thousands to spend!). Cindy is a WEALTH of Palm Tree knowledge, this gal LOVES palm trees and treats each one like it has a SOUL. Even helped advise us on a couple other palms we got that we didn't buy there. Cindy walked us around the property & explained all the deets on each breed of tree/shrub. Answered so many questions - NEVER pushing a sale on us. We settled on 2 qty "3-4 footers" which were actually more like 5-6 (they measure the trunk for 3-4') and these 'baby' trees had great fronds on top. It's AMAZING to know that a 6-8 foot palm (sabal & many others) is around 50-years old???!!! We paid $180 ea, which IMHO was a fair price for this size tree. You can get install for $200/tree (may vary depending on tree size & delivery) and they had a $150 warranty per tree but that's avail. only if you purchase the install - it can add up fast, but we did have to ask 4 cross-fit friends to come help us move them - heavy root ball!
