She was very thorough when we signed our paperwork and explained all aspects of the unit to us in detail. Not only was she funny and friendly but she even offered my children a cool office to rest in when we moved our stuff in on a hot summer day. The unit was clean and really secure. Several unit areas at this location are inside old strip mall buildings which give an added layer of security. All in all, our experience with Xxtra Storage was phenomenal. The office area if this establishment reminds you of a lobby fully stocked with complimentary water, snacks, candy, coffee, and other assorted goods. There is even a relaxing waiting area akin to what you would find at a hotel. Simply amazing. Pricing seems reasonable to me,and getting in and out was relatively easy. They even provide complimentary flatbed totes to move your stuff from outside at the ground floor to your unit. The site is clean, my unit was ready to go and even my daughter enjoyed things like the front office where she waited while my wife signed up for the unit I reserved. I also enjoy that there is music playing in the storage area. A nice little touch to make things more inviting. The site is secure, well lit, and staff are very friendly and professional. The only thing I might say is carts seem limited, but it may have been they were somewhere else and just not by the door I used. I didn't check, I had what I needed and the storage never seems so busy that I had to wait for carts. Overall a good decision to move to this storage company.

The manager was very rude, added twenty dollars then fifty to send a letter to sell my unit twice. The auction was cancelled in October so she could go on vacation. She calls and tells me I still have time to get my things but now I owe another month. The auction was on November 18th. Ihad a friend go and bid to get my unit so that I could get my parents ashes. When she saw me she had the young man with the auctioneer bid against my friend to run the amount up. There were four more units and he never bid on a one of them. Bottom line there is a lot more storage places in Columbus Ga. than this place. As for the manager. I believe karma will not be nice when it comes to her.
