The communicated with me well through the repairs 10/10 would choose them again for any car related repairs.

bring your car to a shop that actually shows up when you look it up in Apple Maps. this is amateur…read morehour. women beware- lots of reputable shops in the area, it is just not at all enjoyable to interact with the staff here. phone manners nonexistent and will drive you nuts. customer service alone will have you wishing you just bought a whole new car. i went into this shop upwards of 8 times within a span of 3 or so months. they will consistently not keep appointments, brushing you off one day, then the next day, and then will finally take you once they realize they've brushed you off too many times. almost every time I went in, Brent, the owner, would explain the computer estimate system to me- sometimes multiple times in one visit. i understood the system immediately, as would the average third grader. sadly, things that are easily understood to the average person take Brent a little longer to figure out. i can forgive that- but i don't appreciate being treated as if i have half a brain, especially as a young woman in a masculine space. body work is fine- but in my experience these people don't know much about cars. they took way longer than they promised (forgivable), upcharged me, and then wanted to upcharge me again when they still couldn't fix it. ended up taking my car to a better mechanic who had it fixed up in two days, for a quarter of Brent's quoted cost, all with a helpful attitude and a big smile. the mechanic who actually ended up fixing my car told me that it wasn't working because this shop put a junkyard part into my car. save yourself the trouble and bring your car someplace that respects their customers. and women.

I was told by my insurance, to contact Bill's to get a quote on the damage to my vehicle, that was done by another vehicle. Bills is one of the few shops around the area that deals with this type of damage I've been told, so I wanted to give them business before taking my car across the pond to a big dealership to be serviced. I called and a woman answered. I simply explained how I was unsure of what to do, what the proper steps are, and how to go about making sure my car gets fixed. Instantly the woman has a rude attitude and proceeds to tell me multiple times "she's been in the business for over 25 years and that's not how it works" - I again explain, I'm confused and unsure of how the process goes. She tells me bringing my vehicle in would be a waste of time because insurance needs to "pay her." Instead of helping me understand, taking social and context clues of "hmm this girl seems a little confused" she continues to disrespect, power trip, and belittle me. I understand that many businesses are struggling during this time, and I certainly have never been to Bill's, but wanted to help give back to local businesses before taking my car across the lake for service. It is evident, I will be taking my service else where as I also advised the woman she could take her attitude elsewhere. To the woman who was rude, disgusting, and randomly combative on the phone - I have been in the customer service for years as well ma'am, and I can tell you.. despite my age, I certainly would like to share some knowledge that I've learned along the way. No one cares how long you've been in the business, people care about how you treat them. You could've given me the worst service, but been an absolute gem, which would make me want to go back. A few weeks later the bondo started cracking and coming through near the rear bumper.
