I uploaded my…read morefile to their website late Friday evening, and by Saturday morning at 9AM I had a reply from the owner asking more details about the job. Within another hour, I got an email stating my job was complete, and I had it in my hands by noon, perfectly done. The owner was personable and extremely helpful, advising us and answering questions about another job we have been considering having done as well. We will definitely be back-- this is a quality establishment, and I can't rate this owner more highly.

If we are talking about the Rockaway laundry, named 101 Laundry in Rockaway, Oregon, I would rate…read morethis business 5/5. It is a wonderful find for folks traveling along the coast. It turns out that a different 101 Laundry which is no longer in business has a lingering Yelp rating below 2/5 8n a different city. MapQuest hasn't removed the closed one so, sadly, it reflects poorly on 101 Laundry. MapQuest also doesn't identify this laundry. When we were there we noticed new, clean machines and surfaces, reading material, and believe it or not, a handicapped accessible patio with nice out of door furniture. The owners are friendly and monitor this business. I am attaching pictures that also include the entryway with 2 chairs set up a conversation setting, welcoming customers in. PS: check out Joe's on the corner of the bloc

DO NOT GO HERE!! Please do not go here. This lady tries…read morevery hard to rip people off. I knew that she was very expensive in the past and I went here only because my normal place in Salem was too far. I could not go there for just a couple quick thin sweaters. I normally make one trip there in the summer for everything. When I went in there two weeks ago, she told me that my very thin sweaters not thick sweaters would be around $8.35 a piece. I wrote that down on my receipt when I left so that I knew. I knew she was still expensive for these thin sweaters, but I was willing to pay at this one time. Unfortunately, when there's only one dry cleaners in the area they can do whatever they want. When I went back there this Wednesday, she tried to tell me that my price was $35.85. I was shocked!! I couldn't even believe that that's what I heard and I told her no that's not what you told me and I said look at my receipt. This is what you told me and I looked her in the eye. She continued to argue. She did not want to refund me. She kept arguing with me and then eventually said well I'll give you a $10 credit. How about that? And I said no I don't ever want to come back here again. After I told her I would report this to Visa and that I would dispute it because I knew this was wrong . She then refunded me and voided the sale and charged me the normal price. I have never had anyone try to do this. It is a smooth, gypsy move that I have never experienced. Telling someone, one price then doing a full switch and bait!! I'm imagining she does this to people all the time and catches them off guard. Most people are embarrassed and don't want to say anything. On top of this imagine paying almost $12 for a thin ladies sweater. I have all types of sweaters I have thin, medium and thick. This is about $7.50 in Salem, maybe closer to $8.00 in McMinville. Please do not go here find somewhere else there are other dry cleaners in McMinville and in Salem I drive in order not to be completely ripped off. I can still save money even with the gas. No wonder people can't pay rent, buy food or gas because the people like this.

So while hubby and neighbor waited for them, they were able to stage A LOT! They worked so hard because we have a few very difficult items to move upstairs. As we get older, this stuff becomes more difficult and it's nice to have someone else do the hard stuff. And the price was extremely affordable. So thank you to the crew who moved us. They were very careful with the pieces and were done in less than twenty minutes. A five star performance. Great emploees.
