Both offer goof parking availability, both are well placed for long distance running, with paths consistent of dirt trails of pavement and concrete, with a few obstacles, all of which are easy to moderate. It seems like a good place for walkers, joggers runners and for bikers . The paths at hart park starts by the old buildings of the swimming pool area. Crossing towards the west, you'll come across a few highway overpasses and an archery park, and a open air auditorium . Along the way, a dry water shed that connects to Santiago park, which has been in redevelopment . New trails, new kids park, new arbory and cleaned up trails. The trail extends into and past the science center and willl make its way to the entrance of the mall, by Broadway. On your return trip, there will be outlets by the rail, that lead out to the neighboring community. Total path in and out can 2 to 4 ... but can extend to over 8 miles... if one follows east of hart park. Overall, great family trails, clean, quiet and welcoming and beyond all else, made for everyone to have fun. Rating of 3.9 to 4.1 stars

Along with big open fields of grass !!! Came here for a baby's birthday party and was pleased with the birthday area! There was shade and great seating , looked clean as well. There seemed to be park staff checking in as well. One complaint from the host of the party is that when she arrived to set up, there was a Couple parked in plain sight next to her in the lot, doing the nasty nasty. Yes , you read that right. On a Sunday afternoon (12pm) .... She was disgusted and looked for help but didn't see staff/ anyone nearby . She got out of her car to make her presence be known.... You would think that couple would care and leave ... no MAAM no sir, they finished their business first and then finally left! No tint and didn't care..... Thankfully no children or families were around to see that crap. It's a nice park , nice area but always look twice and don't let your children outta your sight!

Biking and dogs allowed. Unfortunately not a lot of shade, but a hat and some sun screen and you are golden. Perfect spot to start or end your day to get your movement in!

I hate being out under the sun so I can use alllll the shade! There are several entrances to this place depending on what you want to do. The South St side is a better one for birding. There's parking on one end and residential on another end. Great place to have your leisure walks by yourself or with your dog.

Parking here is very tight, only a few spaces, but the park is so small no one stays long. There are also no restrooms at all.

With its gentlly rolling terrain and well-kept facilities -- the picnic benches and the kiddies' play area alike -- Vaqueros remains a go-to park for local families and couples of all ages. Too bad that the city lacked funding to keep that charming little children's clubhouse maintained. Demolished about five years ago, it'd apparently sustained unfixable neglect over the years.

Yorba Linda Lakebed Trail is a very nice, small walking trail that my friend and I discovered while…read moreexploring the paths near a church. There's street parking spaces near the "main"entrance and a few dirt (un-paved) parking spots along other outlet from the park. The trail is an easy 2.5 - 3 mile shared walking loop and horse tail. Of course, the trail have lot of loose pebbles and rocks so for those with weak angle be careful. The walking path lines is full is bushes and trees that lines up a dried up "riverbed" path. The trail runs alongside the backs of several nearby neighborhoods. During the walk, we saw lots of squirrels and a couple of cotton tail rabbits, so I would be surprised to see a coyote. It's a nice and quiet area to "walk and talk" with a friend to catch up without worry about stopping and going at street lights. I'll certainly aim to meet up with my friends once a month here!!

Multiple points of access, the parks mystic and alluring attributes come from the many and many corkscrew trails that all lead to its interior and then back out. Often you'll hear groups of people just chilling in the interiors. The outskirts present dynamic ramps offs for bikers and the dam itself offers glistening views of the valley during the night . Easy to moderate, the park interlink with other trails, such as the el cajon oc loop. But overall, its a surprisingly location that did challenge me, at least for an hour. The area is located in an upper scale community. The park is clean and well maintained. Negatives... no water fountains and lack of maps to show the entire parks trail system.. Positives. Trails and and winding trails. Great local for first time walkers and weekend warriors. Overall, the park scores a 3.75 to 3.95. Parking is located around the park, generally, by all the trailhead entrances

Several paths to walk through so the hike can vary in length. It's relatively steep to get to the top, but not more than a few hundred meters. Once on top it's pretty flat and easy. Lots of cactus . Lack of a visitor center, lack of trails benches, lack of bathrooms . The trails are moderate to hard - care must be taken- rocks are loose and can cause injuries . No trash cans - bring your junk and take your junk. Overall trail can from a rountrip can be around 3.5 miles to around 4.5 miles. Great scenic shots and lots of cactus
