Both offer goof parking availability, both are well placed for long distance running, with paths consistent of dirt trails of pavement and concrete, with a few obstacles, all of which are easy to moderate. It seems like a good place for walkers, joggers runners and for bikers . The paths at hart park starts by the old buildings of the swimming pool area. Crossing towards the west, you'll come across a few highway overpasses and an archery park, and a open air auditorium . Along the way, a dry water shed that connects to Santiago park, which has been in redevelopment . New trails, new kids park, new arbory and cleaned up trails. The trail extends into and past the science center and willl make its way to the entrance of the mall, by Broadway. On your return trip, there will be outlets by the rail, that lead out to the neighboring community. Total path in and out can 2 to 4 ... but can extend to over 8 miles... if one follows east of hart park. Overall, great family trails, clean, quiet and welcoming and beyond all else, made for everyone to have fun. Rating of 3.9 to 4.1 stars

A cute park tucked away in the Tustin hills! The drive to the park is a bit of a pain but worth it!…read more There is a large field along the hillside that is big enough for a sports game or two. A lot of people picnic on the hilly side of the field to enjoy the beautiful view of the OC skyline. There is a small playground but it's kept up very well and there are lots of fun things for kids to play on! The slide is fun and there are swings and pillars to climb up on. Our 2 year old has a lot of fun at the park and I like it right now because it is one of the less crowded playgrounds. Sometimes we take a walk up the hill from the playground. My little one likes to play in the sand of the volleyball court and explore the little hiking path toward Peter's Canyon. We will be visiting this park again soon!

I believe the park is meant for five years old to twelve year olds, but I usually see small toddlers there with their parents playing in the sand and on the equipment. There is just one big slide, sand, swings, and some digging equipment. It is a nice serene little spot, with a huge open grass area, and lots of trees around. There are no restrooms available here, so tends not to be super busy.

Along with big open fields of grass !!! Came here for a baby's birthday party and was pleased with the birthday area! There was shade and great seating , looked clean as well. There seemed to be park staff checking in as well. One complaint from the host of the party is that when she arrived to set up, there was a Couple parked in plain sight next to her in the lot, doing the nasty nasty. Yes , you read that right. On a Sunday afternoon (12pm) .... She was disgusted and looked for help but didn't see staff/ anyone nearby . She got out of her car to make her presence be known.... You would think that couple would care and leave ... no MAAM no sir, they finished their business first and then finally left! No tint and didn't care..... Thankfully no children or families were around to see that crap. It's a nice park , nice area but always look twice and don't let your children outta your sight!

No trash cans - bring your junk and take your junk. Overall trail can from a rountrip can be around 3.5 miles to around 4.5 miles. Great scenic shots and lots of cactus

I have had this place bookmarked forever and finally experienced the Santa Ana River Trail. I live…read morein the neighboring apartments by the Angel Stadium so I have no idea why it has taken me almost two years to finally experience this gem! Entrance: Multiple entrances but the one most convenient to my apartment is right by Angel stadium parking lot across from golden road which is DuPont and Orangewood. If you don't live in the nearby apartments then I recommend parking by golden road brewery and walking over. You will see bike pathways with entrances (attached photo). Otherwise, the bike trail has quite a few bikers so don't be that annoying pedestrian that is in the way. Walk along the side, lol. If you enter by Angel Stadium the trail to the left will take you down to Honda center, roughly 1.2 miles, maybe a little less. Otherwise, the trail circles back and takes you down to Orange, and then some. I stopped around 4 miles since it started to drizzle but would love to see how long this trail can go! Tip--they cleaned up this trail tremendously. I saw no homeless people or anybody loitering. I felt safe going by myself on a Sunday morning.

I don't see as many homeless people as I used to which is a very nice and refreshing. Some of the landscapes along the trail are just too beautiful. Who needs a gym when you have the Santa Ana River Trail!
