Best Chinese food I've found in a long while and the service was great and the people are awesome. I forgot to take a picture of my food because I was so hungry. Lol Everyone needs to go here and patronize this place. I just moved to Pikeville and wanted to go to Walmart so I decided to make the short trip to Dayton to check things out. I just ran by this place and failed to realize that they are on Eastern time. When I went in I realized they were about to close in 40 mins but they happily happily me in and served me. I had oolong hot tea, crisp, yummy spring rolls for my appetiser and Broccoli Beef in Brown sauce. Very common dish but theirs was a ciut above imo. The steak was good quality and didn't have hardly any fat. The veggies were cooked crisp..... Just the way I like it!!! Portions were huge and prices very reasonable. The food was good but expensive for Chinese food. We had General Tsa chicken, (2) Chicken and Broccoli, 4 egg rolls, and rice, and the price came out to be $80. The cost is way too much for Chinese food for 4 people. read more

The ladies at the counter were sweet but that's where it ends. Nothing was worth a 2nd bite. My husband, who eats almost everything did eat. I threw it away after he finished. Bland, boring, not good Chinese food. The place was clean and typical. We did carry, eat and throw away. read more

We love this place. We go at least once a week. The staff is friendly, they get to know their customers and their orders! The service is always quick. The food is hot when it's given to you, it's amazing portions for great prices! Always end up with leftovers and it's so good. The place is cozy to eat here. read more

Waitress was extremely rude and aggressive towards my 2 year old, and my family. Food was dry and sour tasting, I ordered orange chicken and it came out as chicken nuggets breaded in funnel cake breading and it came with a side of orange slices and a cup of orange juice. The price of our food for only 3 people was $70 !! And not to mention I have food poisoning. read more

Peking House is a Chinese restaurant in Dayton on Hwy 27. The place looks like it's closed. But some neighbors said they eat there so we went for dinner. The decor is 1970's dusty dingy. I doubt that the place has been cleaned or painted since then! Very scary and that is compared to other Chinese places so you know what I mean. The young Chinese owner lady greeted us and sat us in a booth in the mostly empty dining room. I was told that they do a big take out and lunch business. She is very nice albeit somewhat abrupt but that's a cultural thing so whatever. The menus offer somewhat basic Chinese fare but they also have Hibachi and Terriaki which are Japanese. OK. We ordered egg roll to start and weren't told that an order is one little egg roll. So we asked for another one. The egg roll was just warm and pretty soft and greasy. Bad start. The "hot tea" was also not hot. For main dishes, we ordered chicken egg foo young and Setchwan shrimp. The egg foo young was the highlight of the meal. Well done. The shrimp had few shrimp. The veggies in the dish were good but the red sauce was a bit heavy. Not bad but nothing special. Both the dishes did come with brown rice so that was good. I'm giving Peking house 3 stars. i got the chicken and shrimp which comes with vegetables and rice. The shrimp was over cooked the chicken had no f the vegetables were under cooked so I wouldn't suggest coming here. the only good thing about the restaurant is the service. read more

If you like hibachi, this place is for you. They don't have the hibachi style tables but don't let that bother you. The food they serve is just as good! The portions are large enough to share and you cannot beat the price! We had a party of six and paid less than $10 a person including a 20% tip! Service was good, the restaurant was clean. They have a large fish tank right when you walk in that has a couple cool fish. read more

I judge chinese restaurants by the quality of the hot&sour soup. It's great here. And so is everything else I've had.

We had meals with the brown sauce, and they did not smell good when they arrived at the table. Not sure what the problem was, and we did not get sick from eating them, but it was as if the chicken was on the edge of being spoiled. The sauce itself was quite bland and overall, we didn't enjoy our visit and won't return. read more

Really good food! I am a huge fan of this place! My boyfriend and I always make a stop in there when we are in the area.

I saw a cockroach on the floor. The waitress was rude and impatient!! Floors were so disgusting had old food on them!!

The food is average and fairly cheap. I just don't like sharing my food with cock roaches crawling on the table.

My favorite restaurant in Dayton. Fantastic food! Although everything is great, the homemade spicy mustard is also fantastic!
