based off appearances placed looked okay. as i entered sat down at my table and the waiter has served us coke i've never asked for coke or any drink and yet to charge me on my bill for it. the food was a pretty okay not many other options as their food is limited amount for a buffet. once i got my bill i was charged obviously for the coke i never onces asked or ordered for and the food after i payed the waitress had came back demanding why i didn't tip a and more or so enforcing i tipped. i( reason i didn't tip is cause the drink i've never asked) read more

Not what I expected. Spacious, good selection of menu items. Cold bar; Raw bar; salad bar, all well-stocked and monitored. I'm no expert on Chinese buffets. However, with the exception of strangely bland won-ton soup, everything had a pleasant flavour and was piping hot. The parking lot is level and there's ample room for walkers or chairs. Only Buffet in the Area? They have a lock on buffets without driving for 30+ minutes. And they are 1 of 2 Chinese/Japanese restaurants in the town. They have the potential to wreck every other sit down restaurant in Dayton, but (and I never thought I could say this) but their Chinese food has such a . . . greasy feel to it. It doesn't make sense at all I know, but it's true. I have NEVER experienced greasy Chinese until i ate here. The customer service isn't great, but that isn't something I actually care about as long as my drink is refilled constantly. Others may care more and will not be satisfied. They do have a great and varied selection! And maybe it's only the foods i prefer that seem greasy! They are worth a try and then allow yourself to try them. read more

Probably one of the worst Chinese restaurants I have been to. The food was cold and most of it tasted terrible. The wait staff never came to our table other than when we got seated and they brought our initial drinks. Our table itself was dirty and the floor under it had not been swept. I ate here for the first time today during my lunch break. I got there right at 12pm and it wasn't busy at all. I think it had 3 parties including myself. The food was very hot and fresh. They have a good selection of foods. The price was less than $10 for me to eat at the buffet and a soft drink(refilled). The floors and tables were clean. However, the staff is not friendly. It is real food, and it's good too. Nice lady is the cashier and pretty CC is the server/hosts/entertainment. Why eat greasy hamburgers and french fries that is going to swell you rear and and kill you with cholesterol in your veins. Take a load off your feet. Have some good food and enjoy good healthy food, Nice Lady and Pretty CC. If you fixed a meal like this at home it would cost much more than eating here. I go to this place a lot, mostly because it is the only Chinese place in Dayton other than Peking, and it is also the only Chinese place I know that is open on Mondays. Some days I will go and the food will be fantastic, but other times it is just horrible and it makes me sick to have to pay 9 dollars for it. I will keep going back though because when the food is good, it is a great place to eat. It just has to be caught at the right times during the day. I would recommend this place to anyone, and do so often. It is by far my favorite place to eat in Dayton. read more

My friend and I were in town fishing and found this place. It was the best Chinese restaurant I've been to in many years. The Mongolian Beef was great and the stuffed mushrooms were the best I've ever had. The price was excellent. Please stop by and enjoy a great selection from the buffet and say high to the owner Mr. Joe Zhou Ni. He's a great guy and very personable. True southern hospitality. This was pretty bad food, awful is more like it. My wife or I neither one could finish a plate. Even the wait staff was pitiful. I always try to find something good to say but it is eluding me here. I hoped the lady at the cash register would ask me how it was, I was sure going to tell her, but she didn't. Panda Garden is a fairly large capacity restaurant. The food is very mediocre. They do now have a Hibachi grill and hand made sushi (which is pretty good)..I am not an expert on Chinese but it is passible food and is open from 11 till 9 or so, so you can always have something different if you don't want the typical fast food experience. read more
