Food was fast but it came with a whole lot of attitude from the employees. I asked for a spicy sauce and was told to go across the hall and ask the staff at Outback for it! Why would anyone do that? Not friendly at all. Will think twice before giving them another try.

Sad airport orange chicken. Pei Wei has gone so down hill.

It did not have carrots, peas or green onions at all. I had a rarely large order. They do not provide plates or cutlery. The store front is not sanitary. Old restaurant with dirty and broken windows with pan handlers hanging out in front. The parking lot is behind the restaurant without a paved entrance. You can't park on Woodward, so you risk tearing up your car driving through the alley and significantly deep potholes holes to park and pick up your order. It's in the new center area, so I was really DISAPPOINTED. I stopped eating Chinese food a long time ago because of the lack of service and connections to the communities they serve. My mother wanted shrimp fried rice, so I thought I would take a chance. Don't EAT here u less you don't have a choice.

The food was ok. The fried rice was on the plain side. My colleagues ordered lunch specials with chicken. I think they were happier than me. There is a small lot on the side that you can park in. You can enter it from a side street.

Now, that might still start a war if you have to share, but they are all for me. And despite how much I love them, even I can't eat that many at once. Which means enough leftover for the next day. They also have Coke products. I wish they had Dr. Pepper but at least it's not a Pepsi-house. I also like their packaging, they use the old school take-out cartons for the fried rice, a recyclable box for other things, and the rangoons come in a wax bag. So I don't have to feel like a jerk having to throw away a ton of styrofoam containers. I really like their pork fried rice. The chicken low mein is good, lots of nice pieces of chicken but almost no veggies and sometimes the noodles are a little overcooked. But it's all very consistent and reliable which is important. Easy offering and delivery via GrubHub, UberEats, etc.

Hubby and I laughed at how many times we zipped past the restaurant without noticing it. My husband and I both ordered the Major Tom Khatsu, which has a coconut chicken broth base. The chicken katsu pieces were the perfect level of crispy without being heavily breaded. There was also a nice little kick to the dish, which made it so, so yummy. Our friends got the Shoyu ramen with pork belly, and the Corned Beef ramen. The Shoyu dish seemed to be more enjoyable. Though we stuck with water, cans of Faygo pop seemed to be the drink offerings - other than alcoholic beverages. Areas for improvement include the waiting. Johnny Noodle King is a small place, with a main dining area and then what seems to be a bar area attached. We initially waited by the door for our table along with another small group (we were a party of four). We were then asked to go to the bar area to wait so that it would clear the door, but found it interesting how we were asked to move but not the other group. Also, we were standing away from the doormat we were not obstructing anyone's movements. The wait was long, and we asked if we could order food to the bar area (as opposed to waiting for a table). We were told 'no', yet there was a table full of patrons who were eating. There was no notification system, so our friend had to keep going to the front to see if our table was ready. Don't get me wrong; 'hooray' to Johnny Noodle King for having such great business volume. However, they need a way to manage it so that people will not be put off. Once we were seated, we did have good service from our waitstaff, and the food was very good. My husband and I plan to return to explore more of the menu. Hopefully, we can pick a time of day when waiting won't be such a big issue.
