Parcare Medical did COVID testing in my neighborhood at one of the local schools. I went there to…read moreget testing done. It was advertised as free COVID testing for the community. When I went I was asked to give my insurance info. There was no signs anywhere about which insurance they accepted. So I asked the Physicians Assistant who was performing the test if the test was really free. She told me I might get a $50 bill from the lab if they didn't accept my insurance. So I told a volunteer there "I thought this was free." She said it is free, let me get the manager from the lab. "The manager from lab came and told me that I might get a bill, but not to pay it if I get a bill. I know how unpaid medical bills can affect credit so I wasn't going to do that. I said" I don't even want to get a bill". He said "If you don't want to get a bill, then you shouldn't get tested." I left. I later wrote about this incident on Facebook and Whatsapp. A volunteer from this organization convert shamed me said since I am a Jewish convert my word is no good and called me a liar and said I caused a scene there (really professional of her right). I didn't cause a scene I just said I didn't want to recieve a bill and I left. I also saw a volunteer (maybe the same volunteer) from this organization shaming other people who went to this school testing event on Twitter. This organization's workers seem to have no respect for their patients. And they seem to not be following the government's rules about FREE COVID tests. It seems like a scam to me.

Dr Levine has all the academic credentials you could ever want, but she is disorganized, forgetful, and dismissive. She missed appointments. Came to appointments without labs which were already posted, and frankly gas-lighted me. For me, she was a disaster.

Most of the time when dealing with medical professionals you get the idea that they are more interested in your wallet and prescribing then the actual health of the patient, this is NOT the case with Dr. Lane. I travel quite far to see him and do so every year. I tend to be more inclined to preventative medicine and vitamins, exercise etc and usually this is met with upset from doctors, having been trained to believe there is no other route other than prescriptions etc. Dr. Lane is respectful of my health and always is quick to check anything I want looked into. He also appreciates that I don't wait until something is wrong but am working to prevent things from going wrong through exercise, eating healthy and doing annual physicals. If you are looking for a someone who cares, go to Doctor Lane. His schedule is always packed, but its for good reason.

My mom was referred to Dr. Hanono because she was told he's tops in his field. My mother is…read moresuffering from extreme pain down her thighs due to muscular atrophy. If she moves even slightly after waking up, burning shoots down her thighs. The only way the surgeons told her she'll recover is walking around and physical therapy, but the pain is so great that if she stands up or even lies in most positions, it feels like fire through her legs. It's like this for most of the day - only during the evening does it let up briefly. Every day she screams in agony and cries out "oh God help me!" Her psychopharmacologist cleared her for opioid use to manage the pain so she can walk around and rebuild her muscles because nothing else she's been prescribed so far has worked. Her pain is so great that she's essentially bed-bound all day except for a couple of hours at night. We took my mom to Dr. Hanono on Wednesday and she told him what she's going through. Dr. Hanono treated her like she had no idea what she was talking about. He told her there was no medical reason to help her, that she was exaggerating her pain, and that she should just buck up and power through it. He wasted our time, and my mother's condition is worsening every day. This was absolutely the worst experience anyone in my family has ever had in visiting a doctor.

I had a terrible experience with this practice and its staff. After my doctor of 30 years retired,…read moreI scheduled an appointment with Dr. Marcu as a new patient. On my first visit, her spirometry machine was broken, meaning she couldn't even properly assess me. When I asked when it would be fixed, she simply said, "I don't know, it's very expensive." She prescribed me a new steroid inhaler, which worked well, but when it came time for a renewal after six months, my pharmacy sent multiple requests with no response. When I called the office, they told me I needed to come in for a check-up--clearly just to collect a co-pay. Fine, I scheduled an appointment for three days later and asked if they could at least call in one inhaler since I was completely out. They said yes but never did. When I called back, they told me they couldn't because I needed to be seen first--leaving me without my daily steroid inhaler for three days. This lack of urgency and disregard for patient well-being is unacceptable. If a doctor's office is willing to let a patient go without necessary medication over bureaucratic policies, it's clear that patients do not come first here. To make matters worse, the staff was incredibly rude throughout this process. I would not recommend this practice to anyone looking for a compassionate and responsive healthcare provider.

The moment I opened the door I had a gut feeling something wasn't right. When I walked back to the room I was immediately instructed by the physician assistant to get undressed and put on a gown which was very odd to me. Usually when it's your first appointment establishing primary care you aren't asked to get undressed so I was a bit caught off guard and decided to wait to undressed until after talking with the doctor and going over what we would be doing at todays appointment that required me to get undressed. When Dr. Lyon came in (before introducing herself) she asked me in the rudest voice "why aren't you undressed?" And I said "I had a few questions before getting undressed" and she said "you could have still gotten undressed!" - I was so taken back as to why it was such an issue that I didn't get undressed immediately. She proceeded to ask me questions then abruptly interrupted me and said "you're not wearing a mask, let me get you one", she returned with a mask and I told her I didn't want to wear it (mind you the assistants in the office weren't wearing one, just her) and she told me "I had to wear it" I then responded with telling her I haven't had to wear a mask at a drs office in over a year, she proceeded to tell me to put it on. Given this woman's attitude I knew I couldn't trust her, so I told her we could end the appointment and I will go elsewhere. She immediately followed up with "okay! But you still owe me $50 for the appointment." When I was checking out I overheard the physician assistant say to the doctor "Dr. Lyon you were supposed to be better this year." So clearly this isn't the first time someone has left their appointments 10 minutes in. I'm honestly shocked by the amount of good reviews I see on Google. Her Yelp reviews are far more accurate, in which I'll note another girl had the same horrible experience with Dr. Lyon getting mad at her for not undressing right away. If I could give zero stars I would.
