Separate from this, my wife was complaining about her hair not getting clean enough, and over time I noticed a white build up in the black tray underneath the dish strainer. I did two separate brand water hardness tests, and both times it did nt test as hard. It turns out, as Nova enlightened me, that it is more complicated than PH level. A water softener also removes mineral deposits . So we had Nova put that in as well, the wife no longer moans about her hair, and there are no longer white deposits on the dish tray. The water feels different and better. So regardless of the PH your water tests at I recommend that you have Nova install both of these devices. Their price is reasonable as well, I don't know why that fellow sticks signs in the grass in the roadside advertising units for twice what Nova charges, mine works great.

He knows his stuff and answered all of my questions regarding filtration media and how the system works. Even after a minor leak he was able to come back within a week and take care of the issue. Even better he helped flush our hot water tank as I mentioned the hot water had a slight smell to it. I haven't bothered with getting it addressed because the customer service has been abysmal, and have been struggling to schedule the "annual maintenance" of replacing the filters for the past month. First I took off a Wednesday morning from work, and get told that they have to cancel the appointment for that day and the rest of the week because of some operation transition. Then find out this area's technician doesn't work Mondays so I can't have it serviced on a Monday I happen to be off for PTO. No weekends servicing, which really makes the service hours are 9am-5pm Tuesday to Friday, with the latest appointment for 3pm. And all of this has been going back and forth through text message with the office. Every time I call, goes to voicemail. Even trying to schedule an open availability I have for tomorrow, turns out the technician is out for the rest of the week. Is there only 1 puragain technician for Casselberry, or for all of Orlando? Seems that there should be more than one for this area, and perhaps have more accommodating hours for customers, especially given $6000 for the system and $300 for these filters. There's been little effort to accommodate for my schedule after they cancelled on my appointment. Don't know when I'll get these filters replaced as I'm still waiting to here back for a text message about dates I sent an hour ago.

Beautiful work. Very friendly tech with my family. I had two paver stones for him to use as a base and he installed the resin filters to perfect level with all new valves and disposed of my old unit. They intrigued me with their partnership with a gentle soap partnership so I am honestly looking forward to trying them out. Wesley happened to be in the neighborhood and was available within 30 minutes. The testing only took a few minutes. A high level of total dissolved solids (TDS) was indicated, and Wesley identified a faulty water softener was the contributing source. We disconnected the water softener and are flushing the system to clear the elevated TDS. The whole inspection only took about 30 minutes and Wesley provided the service free-of-charge. Great job.

As of 08/18/25, I still have not received any return call. In the past, when this service was provided by SWS under Skip, I could usually count on a same‑day or next‑day response, which made the process much smoother. Since the acquisition by EcoWater, this has not been my experience. I can't fully comment on their actual service work, from a customer service standpoint, lack of follow-up is disappointing. I cannot recommend relying on EcoWater for time-sensitive or urgent service needs. Hopefully, service issues will be addressed moving forward.
