I called the Pegasus looking to get my wood RV/pedestrian gate replaced with an iron RV/ pedestrian gate, and I'm glad I did. Even though I was a little sketchy due to the negative reviews left here on their yelp. However, I brought up my concern of the negative reviews to Aida, and even though she really didn't have to, she addressed it. I was already set on having them be the ones to take on my project because looking passed the negative I couldn't help but to focus on the positive; and that was the fact the the work Cruz does looked amazing. I did research and tried to find another company, but what other companies did not have that Cruz DID have was a showcase of the work being offered (and Pegasus Iron Works had over 100 photos for me to reference) I ended up moving forward with Pegasus and Cruz explained to me he can build me any type of style gate that I want, to just tell him how I wanted it. I gave him a few ideas letting him know that I wanted my gate to be simple, but at the same time bold. After speaking with Cruz, Aida took over from there handling the final quote, and design, installation date etc.. Cruz's schedule was pushed out about a month which was fine with me because I also had concrete work that had to be done first prior to the gate install. However Cruz made sure that he worked me in his schedule with the concrete company to have the posts set. I must be honest during the process there were some miscommunication that had taken place on both of our end, it wasn't anyone's fault. I'm not gonna point the finger and say it was all them, when in reality I should have maybe been more clear on certain details. I can go on and on, but at the end of the day I'm very happy with the way Cruz designed my gate. Simple and Bold! He did say a few times before starting the build of my gate.. "trust me, I promise, you will like it " But he was wrong, because I LOVE it ! Also, let me add once I found out that Pegasus was a small family owned business, it was hard for me to be picky on the miscommunication part that took place during the process. Cruz is a very hard worker, has great talent, and is good at what he does. I realize that it must not be easy to run a small business providing the A1 quality work with a major level look like he does. And don't get it twisted, just because this is a small business, doesn't mean its gonna cheap... besides, good work is not cheap, and cheap work is not good anyway. You get what you pay for. Aida , Cruz, and his small crew that works along side of him did a great job. I've gotten many complements from my neighbors. *side note.. I seen a "bad" review by a Gary C. that left photos saying that anyone can jump his fence remove the dead bolt (cane bolt) and the gate will open right up. It seems that they might just have to add an additional cane bolt (so two cane bolts) to fix their minor issue.. that's what I had Cruz do.. no big deal. Just remember communication is the key. Thanks Aida, Cruz, and his crew! I'm gonna crack open an ice cold Modelo, stand in front of my house and admire my gate. What a difference a gate makes!! Feel free to check out my phots and admire with me.
I'd like to take a moment to give this well deserved review for Pegasus Iron Works. Let me tell you, I am soooooo super happy with the custom driveway gate they made and installed at my home. First of all, from the very beginning, I was very impressed with warm and inviting response I received from the young lady (Aida) that assisted me when I first contacted Pegasus. She was so super sweet, professional, and answered all my questions. Aida came out to my residence, assessed my current driveway area, and provided me with many options for a custom driveway gate. They do it all lol They make custom wood, steel, composite, and vinyl driveway and walkway gates. I ended up choosing a composite and steel custom gate which was the best decision ever. I LOVE, LOVE, LOVE my gate. They have installed several gates throughout my neighborhood (Griffin Park by Atherton Homes), and have also installed several gates in the Solera Community by Atherton Homes. If you need a quality custom gate made by super sweet and professional people, Pegasus Iron Works is the way to go. I can't be more happy and HIGHLY recommend them!!! Thank you Pegasus Iron Works, you guys are the BEST!!!
Our fence blew down so we needed it replaced quickly. We received some ridiculous quotes which I can only assume was due to the whole supply and demand issue, then Pegasus came through with a GREAT quote. I am so happy we went with them, they finished super fast and our fence is beautiful and high quality. We didn't get a full iron fence, jut a gate, but they're just as skilled with regular fences as they are iron ones. Aida is the contact and she is really knowledgeable, sweet and most importantly super responsive, so you will always have a go to for any questions. Stop looking, Pegasus is who you should be calling/texting right now.
I had a nice looking gate installed about 9 months ago. Recently discovered that the double gate with a dead bolt lock provided NO SECURITY AT ALL! Anyone could jump over the gate, lift the latch and the gate opens right up. I called the owner 4 times and each time I was promised that her husband would come and give me suggestions on how to add some type of security to the gate. But each time I was ghosted. No call, no text, just left me hanging. I told them I am willing to pay for whatever they come up with to help me. I still like the design of the gate but don't expect any follow up help once they have your money, which is very expensive btw.
We moved to a new home and knew exactly who we wanted to put in our side yard gate since we had them put in a gate at our previous residence, and we could not be any happier with the craftsmanship of their work. They are always very professional and courteous when they are at our home and on the telephone. There was a mixup in the paint name/number, and the color did not match the exterior of our house perfectly, so they came out removed the boards painted brand new boards with the correct color and then replaced them. They wanted to make sure that the color matched perfectly for me. They went above and beyond by replacing the borers with brand new ones so that the old color wouldn't show through. The gate looks like it was built with the house. It is amazing. I would recommend to his company to everyone who needs work done at their property.
Pegasus Iron Works was a great experience from start to finish. As part of a broader front landscape redesign project, Pegasus was selected to do 2 new side gates to replace existing good neighbor fencing on both 11ft and 6.5ft side yard fencing sections. They had to work in tandem with a separate contractor who was doing concrete work at the time, and worked with me on scheduling to make sure there were do redo's or delays with either team. The finished product speaks for itself. These gates are fantastic, well built, extremely durable construction that will last and function well for years to come. The husband and wife team were great to work with and had good communication throughout the entire project. I would highly recommend Pegasus Iron Works to anyone looking to enhance their fencing or gate needs for their home. Thank you!!
We are extremely pleased with the quality and craftsmanship of the gates we just had installed by Pegasus Iron Works. Aida came to our home to help us choose a design and informed us of the various options as to design, wood type and color choices available. Aida was very professional and knowledgeable. The craftsmanship of the gates by Aida's husband Cruz is incredible! The gates are exactly as we ordered and we are beyond ecstatic. Cruz and his crew worked quickly to get the posts and then the gates installed. They showed up when they said they would. We HIGHLY recommend and encourage anyone who needs gates or iron work done to contact Pegasus Iron Works/Design, a local small family run business.
I was fortunate enough to work with Cruz and Aida from Pegasus Iron Works. Originally I only was going to do a small man gate and RV gate with leaving the original wood gate. However after meeting with them and listening to their ideas I decided to replace all of the front gates. They kept me informed all the way through the process and showed samples of what the gate would look like along with stain options. We couldn't be happier with the finished product. It looks great and is much simpler and sturdier than what we had before. We highly recommend Pegasus. We even decided to add a small gate to keep our dogs separated from part of the yard.
They did an AWESOME JOB on our fence / gate and courtyard. They were able to customized to our choices. See the pictures of FINAL INSTALLATION of wrought iron gate/panels on the courtyard and side RV/Man gate and fence.
They did a great job! They were prompt and did the job right. I would definit.ely use them again.
I was referred to this company from a coworker when he overheard my frustration of trying to locate a gate builder for RV access. Right place at the right time certainly applies here. Aida and her husband Cruz are two of the easiest people to work with. They worked with me and around my schedule to install the fence posts during the installation of my concrete. The quality of work that was done far exceeded our expectations. I have seen other gates built by their competitors in my neighborhood and they don't hold a candle to mine. All of the metal is powder coated and the boards are stained to match the color of my house. Fantastic job!! Don't be swayed by other negative comments posted here. My installation like any other ran into little snags along the way but that was to be expected. The difference here is with the owners. Their willingness to adjust these issues was astonishing. Again, great job and keep up the great work!

Pegasus met and surpassed all of our expectations when we were looking to install a gate at home (we ended up with two!). It was really easy to communicate with Aida and Cruz and we were always kept in the loop of what was happening throughout the whole process: from the quote to the actual work itself. All of the material used was top notch and the installation itself was efficient and painless. We're really glad to have found a local business who delivered excellent work and service. I definitely recommend Pegasus to anyone who is looking for real professionals, you won't be disappointed! read more

Pegasus Iron Designs/Works surpassed all expectations when conducting business with me. I am beyond satisfied with the work done on my home. I have conducted business with Aida and Cruz twice. I had two gateas put up originally. These gates consisted of a lone side being a pedestrian gate, and the other a rv/pedestrian combo. They look absolutely amazing. It truly brings curb appeal to my home, as well as a great sense of security as well. The second time I did business with them I had them install a courtyard gate to my property that matched the original gates. This gate just tied all of the other and Aida and Cruz were able to make this happen again. It truly was everything I wanted and the care that Cruz and Aida took to meet our needs was met with great communication and collaborative efforts on their part. They truly bring a warm and caring commitment to their customers and I highly recommend them to anyone who needs gates at their home. I am so thankful for their services as well as my family appreciated conducting business with them. I attached two photos for proof of their amazing work! read more

We had Pegasus Iron Works put in a side gate and a wide swing gate for our RV access. They worked in tandem with our cement company who had just poured the large area for access. There were no delays and the gates are very nice. We have had many people stop and enquire who built the gates. The finish on the keypad got damaged and they called the company and we got a free replacement. Great customer service!! read more

We hired Pegasus Iron Works to take down and replace two fences that were installed by an unlicensed contractor. The fences were actually bringing down the value of the house. Aida was the first person to come to our home so that we could tell her exactly what we wanted including the color of the paint to go on the wood portion of the new fence. Aida was very business-oriented, listened to our request, wrote down what we wanted, took measurements, and she earned an A+++ for customer service skills. Not only was Aida very attentive, she also took the time out of her busy daily schedules to keep us updated on the progress of the upcoming installation. On May 2nd; Cruz came to our home with his crew, was on time and came prepared to do the installation. Cruz kept us informed about each step in the process from beginning to end. All members of The Pegasus Iron Works team were very informative, excelled in customer service skills and interacted with one another as a professional team. The craftsmanship that went into making the fences before they were installed exceeded our expectations. After the fences were installed we were ecstatic when we realized that not only did Pegasus Iron Works give us what we wanted, they gave us what we love. With that said, we want them to know that the words "Thank you" are not enough to express our appreciation for a job well done. The Pegasus Iron Works team go above and beyond and exhibit that they not only have passion for what they do but they also have a desire to make their customers happy. If we had another fence, we would hire them again without question. From our hearts to theirs, please know that we appreciate each and every one of you. If you need a new fence, hire this company. read more

Literally the best choice for residential or commercial fences or any metal work. They are family business and super on point when it comes to fast quotes, great work and attention to detail. I hired them for our gate for our new garden center and I will be using them for as many projects as I can. You will not be disappointed ! read more

Cruz did an amazing job on our rv gate, side yard gate and entry courtyard gate. Amazing attention to detail and he made sure everything was exactly the way we wanted it. They were prompt with a quote and response to our phone calls and emails. If anyone is looking to have gates made you will not find a better person to build your gates. Would not hesitate to use them in the future. read more
