Inquired about a 2026 Chevrolet Silverado 2500HD ZR2. Internet price was much lower than anyone else. Spoke with the salesperson and was told the "new" GM was trying to make a splash and dropped the price. I was told if I wanted to purchase it to fill out a credit app. I sent one over from their website within minutes about 2 hours before they closed. Next day I heard nothing from them even after texting the sales guy multiple times. Finally, at nearly 5:00 pm. the next day the sales rep called to tell me the truck sold, bad new, but the good news was there was another in transit. Asked if the price was the same and he said no that the one that sold was the only one at that price. After calling bullshit I told the sales guy what I thought about this typical car dealership game and that they needed to honor the price since I was quick to apply for GM financing and was never contacted about the truck being sold nor even given an opportunity to have a discussion. From the review I am seeing I should have known better but thought what a deal on this truck. Not surprised this was the ole bait and switch. This was likely just another cheap car dealership tactic to get people contacting the dealership and then to be told "Darn, that was the last one." We have others here we can sell you but at a higher price. I have bought a lot of vehicles over the years, and I wouldn't buy a car from Pegasus even if you paid me to do so. The only good experience when buying my 2026 Chevy Tahoe was my salesperson, Jesse Black. Alex, the finance guy was worthless. I was purchasing this vehicle to drive home to AZ in. My plan was to pay cash for it, but due to banking transfer issues, I ended up financing it at the last minute. While doing paperwork with Alex Carrillo, I explicitly explained to him that I lived in a small, unincorporated community in AZ and we did not have mail delivery to our residence. Any correspondence needed to go to my PO Box or I would not receive it. He made a note on his little scratch sheet (while he was trying to sell me an extended warranty for the third time). He never once put the PO Box on any paperwork (loan or title/registration papers). I made it perfectly clear to him the car was returning to AZ to reside, yet he applied for TX title and registration (which I would never get because he refused to put my PO Box on my paperwork). I spoke to TX title and registration and they suggested I file a complaint and they would assign investigators to look into this transaction. He sent me home with a TX dealer plate on my new purchase, which he asked me to send back via UPS. That's a joke. My salesperson called and asked me to leave a review on Yelp and if I had any problem, please call her first to give her an opportunity to fix it. I discovered this problem yesterday (after leaving a great review) to ask for help. No returned call. Call Alex Carrillo to discuss the problem, no return call. So here's my true review. If I could give them a minus 10, I would. I have since paid off the car, three weeks later, as was the original plan. Now I'm stuck with this mess. Not a happy customer. read more

Prior to arriving, I spoke directly with the General Manager, Derrick, and made it very clear--multiple times--that I did not want any add-ons (extended warranties, tire & wheel, GAP, oil plans, etc.). This was also repeated in person to both the salesperson and the finance manager. We arranged for my in-laws to co-sign and drive nearly two hours to assist us, based on the agreed terms: trade-in value, down payment, and estimated out-the-door pricing. We trusted that the paperwork matched what was discussed. After reviewing the documents the following day, I discovered nearly $4,000 in added charges that were never clearly disclosed or authorized. When I contacted the dealership, it took several days to reach management. The finance manager stated he "lowered the APR as a favor" and claimed the added costs were justified. He offered no refund, no apology, and no meaningful resolution--only that removing one item would not reduce the payment or return any money. This experience felt misleading and unprofessional. Clear instructions were ignored, additional charges were added after verbal agreements, and the dealership refused to correct the issue once discovered. I purchased a vehicle from here back in April of 2023. I got a Chevy trax 2024. My Ac stopped working 4/5 months in, I took it in for diagnostics and they told me it was an "external problem" can't fix under warranty but will cost me $1500. Ok whatever. In July of 2024 my headlight was broken. I told them about it to get a quote again around $1400. But I already told them about it. I've taken my car to get serviced multiple since then and until I believe my last service maybe a month ago they noticed it which I just thought was silly because it's visible, and I had already gotten a quote to get it repaired with them right after it happened. Which they did a diagnostic on it this last time to tell me it was broken which I already knew. My blinker stopped working on Sunday the 17th of March. I took it in today the 20th and they are telling me I have to pay $180 for a diagnostic now since the headlight is broken. The back blinker still works but it's blinking really fast and it's not broken. Now they are telling me the only way to fix it is replace the whole thing. I just don't think the 2 problems are related contrary to what it may seem. They are just not being helpful. To clarify- only the frame of the headlight broke. All the lights worked fine and it's been MONTHS. If it was messed up because of the damage it would've gone out months ago. We've had all kinds of weather and it's been fine. And this is not the first issue I've heard about them. Other people have had trouble when it comes to getting their vehicles serviced. read more

My aunt who is a bilingual speaker asked for a Spanish speaking employee as they advertise outside on their sign. They said they didn't have anyone and proceeded to be very rude and inconvenienced by her asking. She does speak English and was able to tell them what she needed done just as fine either way. read more

Undisclosed hail damage -2024 Chevy Trail Boss VIN:3GCUDCED1RG321377 - I bought a new truck over the phone from Pegasus Chevrolet in Ennis and nothing was mentioned about hail damage. My wife and I drove over an hour to sign the paperwork on a "new truck" they pulled the truck around and the sales guy asked me did I want to take a look at the truck. I saw hail damage in the hood, fenders and roof. Not big hail. Maybe pea sized but there were a lot of dings. I counted maybe ten on the hood and fenders. There was probably twice as many on the roof. The sales guy and manager both claimed they didn't know there was damage. To put the damage into perspective I have another vehicle that had less dents The insurance was billed 7k for the repair. To be fair, they were bigger dents but probably less than half of the amount of dings. They offered to fix it, they offered another truck on their lot, they offered to find me another truck on another lot and I declined. I said no because you don't just get hail damage on one vehicle on a lot covered with them. I don't want another truck that could possibly be already repaired or in the middle of a repair. They claim they didn't know? They know now and the truck is still posted as "new" on their website for 2 days. BTW, if you read through the reviews you will see one from a guy with the last name of Butts... that's the sales manager planting a great review. I would skip this place if I were you... read more

I have never been treated this poorly by a dealership in my life! I was told the car was available, but that it could not be shown until the evening. Then I got a call that it was back all of a sudden at 11 am and that I'd better put down a non-refundable $500 deposit because someone else was coming to see it. I gave them my credit card, and they decided to show it to another customer anyway while I was driving there. Once I arrived after driving an hour from Plano, they told me that they had priced the car too low and that they wanted an extra $2,500. The general manager kept telling me that this new price was still the lowest on the internet, even as I was showing him on my phone that it wasn't! Don't walk...RUN FROM THIS DEALERSHIP! My 2013 Silverado has been at Pegasus Chevrolet in Ennis Texas almost a month now. (This is after the entire fuel system was replaced by this dealership a month prior...$15K) Now the truck needs a Transmission Control Module. The dealership does NOT call me with any updates or status, I have to call them. There is a part shortage. OK, but has it been ordered? Was tracking provided? Even a projected date would be nice...Something to make me at least feel like they're trying to get my truck fixed after giving them $15K a month prior. I escalated this to GM Customer Care, they were not helpful. They keep telling me there is nothing they can do. They can't source a part from another dealer, they can't call the factory (dealers can) and get any kind of status. Now my GM Customer Care rep doesn't return my calls. Again I escalated it higher, let's see how this goes. I personally called 8 dealerships, within 20 minutes I found 4 TCMs in the country. With GMs resourses I would imagine they could find 20... Another issue is I found a diesel shop that has them in stock formy truck, brand new, programmed, ready to install...Guess where they come from? Allison! I'm pretty sure Allison makes them and puts the Delco label on it... I just want to order one, get my truck back and put it in myself. All I need now is GM to cover whtever nonsense charges that are out standing at the dealership...I'm not paying. read more

I can assure the customer service here is spectacular. I came in here to see if they could work on my car and fix issues that another dealership could not seem to do. Although they were unable to help fix my car due to special programming and it being a Mercedes'. The service lady (oh so very nice and the main reason for this review) (and the gentleman to be so observant to know when I needed him, that he knew exactly what I was wanting and when I wanted it) are the reasons for this post today. Both of these employees spit knowledge to me that I did not know. This dealership has shown me how to not get screwed by another one. Thank you for making me a little more knowledgeable.
