When I contacted Pegasus, they immediately refused responsibility and directed me to the manufacturer, offering no assistance, no guidance, and no support. Selling a vehicle with an open safety recall--especially one involving potential safety hazards--raises serious concerns regarding: Failure to disclose material defects Lack of due diligence prior to sale Potential violations of Texas Deceptive Trade Practices Act (DTPA) As a result of Pegasus' actions, I am now: Without a vehicle Still responsible for a loan tied to this purchase Forced to rely entirely on the manufacturer for resolution Pegasus has made zero effort to assist or advocate on my behalf, nor have they offered any form of transportation or resolution. This experience demonstrates a complete disregard for customer safety and consumer protection standards. Put the spare on then and there followed him back to Claxton where he fixed my flat and swapped the spare out for the normal tire so I could drive the final hour back to a Dallas without having to only go 50 because of the spare.
