The tables were clean, and there were lively pool matches happening all around. We started off with lunch. I had a salad and got some extra chicken and wow... some of the most tender, flavourful chicken breast I've ever had dining outside. I went in with no expectations and was pleasantly surprised. My teammates also seemed happy with their food. There were also vegetarian options available. Then we played pool. Everything was set up neatly, and easy to access. The poolhall is dimly lit and has a cozy vibe. It's easy to get into your game, even though there are matches happening all around you.

Update of review for 2025:…read more Cornerbank is a bar/pool hall with a darker aesthetic. (Low lighting) We went for happy hour (4-6pm on a Friday) and had $5 bar rails, $7 chicken bites, and full price pretzels $9. We played an hour of pool on the 9ft tables. They also have 7ft tables for rent. The chicken bites were really good in a Nashville sauce (a bit spicy). The pretzels were served hot with a honey mustard sauce. Both were great and I would definitely eat again. Overall the food this time was much better and the drinks weren't too watered down (ask for less ice). Positive experience!

My go to pool place in the entire GTA!…read more Was introduced to TNL Zone just under two months ago, and I can easily say I have since came here on average twice a week. After recently getting into pool/billiards these last couple of months, I've visited my fair share of pool halls. From locations in North York, to Mississauga, to my old go to spot Annex Billiards near Bloor & Bathurst, I can easily say this is my favourite pool hall to play at. TNL is never super busy, and I haven't had a single instance of waiting for a table. Even in the case that I did, a bonus that TNL has is the inclusion of other games including Darts, Table Tennis, Air Hockey, and Foosball. All of their games and pool tables feel pretty new, especially their pool cues that I feel are the best I've seen. What I also like is that the tables all have plenty of room around to be able to make hard shots. I've been to VIP down the street and always felt that there were times I would hit the walls prepping for a shot because there was no space. The employees/owners here incredibly friendly and will remember you BY NAME if you tel them your name. There was even an instance where I was charged the wrong amount one night, and without mention, the next time I visited she told me that she "owed me money" to which she deducted the incorrect amount from the previous visit, that's something that makes me a regular here. They do offer food, bubble tea, drinks, and alcohol. Rates for this stuff aren't the best, but I believe they make up for how cheap the playing rates are. TNL Zone has become a hub spot that I bring all of my friends to now, and I would recommend it to anyone looking for a place to come hangout, maybe even host a date here. You won't regret it.

Amazing! Family loved the chicken wings though it was a bit light on the meat. Wings were super crispy and seasoned. Finally , the curry rolls were unique and tasty. Filled with chicken and potato with a lightly fried roti roll. Similar to Sri Lankan style but much lighter. Really good. Overall, great food in a non descript plaza in Scarborough. The place is a little hard to find, so look out for the plaza with the yellow Timehri restaurant sign. Yah the entrance is at the back of that building. The parking is verrry minimal in the front and back. Accessibility to the 2nd floor entrance takes about 22 steps upwards. The only problem is the vibe is a bit lame on the account of the music. It was a little annoying, to be honest. They were playing 80s rock, when they had a bunch of Millennials and Gen Z in the place. Hip Hop, R&B or Top 40 Pop might have been more lively. I had to put in earpods to enjoy the vibe a little more. Anyways the staff were very hands-off and everyone else was minding their business. I felt comfortable, and the place was clean and did not smell. $14.50 for 1hr on a Saturday. 5 people max, they said. I'm not sure if that was a covid limit or a price limit. Simple, straightforward place. I'd recommend this place to pass the time.
