Since that time I have been treated with respect and courtesy every time I visit or call, and have never had any problems with The Doc or his staff. Moving to N. California for a couple of years I was forced to see a different podiatrist who could not offer the quality of service I received at Santiam Foot Clinic. I was very glad to return to Oregon and reconnect with this office. My wife is also a patient here, and has also received great care. Dr. Callahan always asks me about her during my visits, and is always friendly and caring. He enjoys his job and loves people, and it shows in his behaviour. You can expect to be regaled with a variety of stories while he tends to your digits and I frequently find myself in near hysterics at his tales, but this never detracts from the medical professionalism with which we are treated. Whenever I visit I'm greeted warmly and professionally at the front desk, and when I've had billing questions (which has been rare) they've been handled courteously.

She racially profiled a patient and refused to listen when I tried to explain that, as the administrator of a self-funded Taft-Hartley (union) plan, only certain people have access to my records. Ever heard of PHI or HIPAA? Clearly not--especially given some of your unprofessional responses to negative reviews. To make matters worse, she refused to see the patient despite a valid insurance ID card, falsely claiming it was "expired." It wasn't. The date on the card simply indicated when it was last revised. But rather than admit her mistake, they doubled down and refused service. Absolutely unacceptable. Avoid this place at all costs. If this is how they treat patients before even stepping into the exam room, I can only imagine how careless they are with actual medical care.

I could see why he was always talking about the fact that he experienced such excellent care from the doctors and the assistants who had taken care of his feet. When brought another patient for her appointment last week I filled out the paperwork and asked for a appointment. Surprised- I was able to get the appointment a week later!. The same patient I had taken to cascade a week earlier also was taken to another doctor the same day earlier than my first appointment with cascade. Her appointment ran late and I was 10min Late. But the staff worked around the Tardiness and was able to still be seen. It was a great experience- Corena was so inviting and quickly got the paperwork for me. She handed me off to Ruby CMA and she got the rest of the info needed. Dr Tippet came in the first ten minutes gathered some more info about the reason for the visit, he fixed the toe, Ruby came in and finished the toe and scheduled the next appointment! It was so refreshing to see the teamwork and that no one 'Sweated the small stuff '!!!! An excellent addition to my personal Healthcare group!! They are unwitting- Ly going to assist me in one of my life Goals- living to 90yrs+. Just turned 70 Last July! The only mistakes were Ruby Thought I was younger than I am, and I Thought she was younger than she is. Great minds think alike. Front office staff could've been a little more transparent about having a "co-insurance" payment. To top it off, Cascade Collections charges interest, which I could never understand. If someone can't afford the initial charge, they're going to make it higher by charging interest?! Yeah, that makes sense. In the beginning I didn't have co-pays and all of a sudden I do?! If the person making my appt had told me that, I could've politely said no thanks. I can get my toenails done cheaper at a nail salon. I'm diabetic so I know what to look for. I truly did like Dr Rich and the medical assistants. It's the front office staff that needs a few customer service pointers. I would actually recommend Cascade Foot Center to those patients that have the $$ to go there.

Dr…read more Scott was thorough during my appointment, but then out of the blue I got a call from Summit Orthotics to make an appointment to get an orthotic. This was never discussed with Dr. Scott, and when I asked reception why I needed an orthotic, I was told I would have to make another appointment to find out, which would be another $45 copay! Why wasn't this discussed in person when I was there so I could tell Dr. Scott that I already had inserts and what shoes I used. None of my shoes would have space for an orthotic which would be a few hundred dollars!

I was able to have the bunion surgery he did corrected. The surgery he did screwed up my toes and that can't be corrected. I am now permanently disabled and on SSDI. I am in pain every day. While it is necessary to have searches at the door nowadays, the company contracted for the job is rather unprofessional. The employee comments on contents in your purse and rummages around more than necessary. And the tattoos, piercings etc. do not look appropriate for a medical setting.

I have been a patient here for many years. Never been happy with them but it has become far worse…read morein recent years. They are all about money and not patient care. They recently moved away from the more universal Mychart and implemented their own version. What a nightmare that has been. They lost records and I can't even work with them. I decided to start using a private lab because they offer substantialy more tests for significantly less money. Why should I be forced to use their lab? I assume they didn't like this because they absolutely refuse to load the results into their version of Mychart, despite me calling many times and providing them the results twice. I mailed them and delivered in person because they refused to accept them electronically or download them from the lab. Last visit they told me at least three times they are a business and eventually refused to see me as a patient. Keep in mind I owe them nothing so it is not a billing or payment issue. Go anywhere else if you can. They are horrible.
