I saw Emily, NP, and she was knowledgeable, kind and at no time did she appear rushed. I had a lot of questions as well as medications that needed to be refilled. She answered all of my questions and explained everything in detail. Probably spent an hour with me which is unheard of in today's treatment of patients. Also, I was impressed with how clean the office, bathroom and exam room was. I would highly recommend this clinic to anyone looking for excellent treatment and great office hours.

My first first few times going were decent. And once you get passed the front desk all is well. This morning I came in because I have the flu and needed confirmation and meds. I walked in at 0805 and filled out the sign in slip. I was asked if I had an appointment and said no but that I was sick. I instantly detected an attitude with the front desk girl and felt resistance. I almost left to go find another primary care manager but opted to stay because i know that once you get passed the front desk, all would be ok. And it was. I recommend FMC but be prepared for some attitude when you walk in.

TL:DR     Ed Fox gave _very_ incorrect information and did…read morenot follow up as promised. My mom is 64. She and I have a chronic genetic issue. She swore off doctors years ago. So when I finally found something that was helping, it took a lot of convincing to get her to go. She did some research and decided to see Ed Fox. He wasn't familiar with her condition. That's fine. We're used to that. What she was asking for is Low Dose Naltrexone (LDN) to help treat the chronic pain, among other things. He told her it's a controlled substance and that he'd need authorization, so he'd get back to her. It's not a controlled substance. In fact, had he done a five second google search, he'd have seen it's kind of the opposite. It's an opioid antagonist and is used in its normal dose to treat opioid and alcohol addiction. But he didn't do that. He also didn't check with others in his practice and get back to her like he said he would. If you have a cold, you're probably fine going here. If you're looking for a doctor that will actually do what he says, cares about your issues, and will look into things you bring up--this is not your guy. Now I have to try and convince my mom to try again. And it's going to be harder than it was this last time.
