This is probably dependent on what the renter is willing to pay for, but they had an ice cream freezer, a candy topping bar, a walk-in drink room, and a retro Coca Cola vending machine. Definitely get a Coca Cola bottle from the vending machine if it's available because it's pretty neat to see it come out. This was a fun and unique experience so if you're thinking of doing social event here, I'd recommend it.

They were also very flexible about allowing us to bring in an outside vendor, including a shaved ice stand. The venue had everything we needed, including microphones, a TV, projector, Bluetooth access for our playlist, and free Wi-Fi. The outdoor setting overlooking the marina was beautiful, and there was plenty of parking. It's also conveniently located for guests coming from San Francisco and the Peninsula. I chose this location right away for the location (walking distance to the Marine Reserve for pictures), the price (within the range for comparable venues), the fact you can get married and have the reception in the same place, and because I was able to bring in all my own vendors. Sharon, the owner and the woman who is essentially the day-of coordinator, was an absolute joy to work with. She was always honest and straight forward with me and walked me through many of the preparations leading up to the wedding. We had to do some very last minute contingency planning for rain, but Sharon was there helping the entire way through. Even though we got a rainy day and didn't get to enjoy the full beauty of the venue, Sharon saved the day many times over for us and made using Cypress Meadows worth every penny. I will never forget standing with my father, ready to walk down the aisle, and waiting for Sharon to let us know when we were supposed to go, because after all, we'd never done the wedding thing before. It was just a blast! Afterward we were able to play cornhole, lawn bowling, wiffle balls in the back. I've been the party planner for the last 4 years for the club that I belong to and I have been working side by side with California Catering and hope to continue for many more years. The club I belong to has been hosting their annual holiday party for MANY years here. Manager: Tim, the manager for California Catering is the best. He is very accommodating, listens to your needs, works with you and is responsive. One of the nicest guys you can work with. Service: The servers are very professional and accommodating. I want to give a shout out to Alejandro who has been the lead on the nights of our parties. Food: We've always had a sit down plated dinner service. The last 2 years, I opted for the buffet as it was cost efficient and worth every penny. I always worry that there isn't enough food when served buffet style, but you never have to worry about it with California Catering. There is enough food for people to go back for seconds. December 2019, I threw in a prime rib carving station with it. The carving station was a hit and the meat was cooked to perfection and my guests raved about it. Cost: The cost is very reasonable. If you do this at a hotel you will pay double the amount. Although many people prefer hosting it at a hotel because they can stumble their way to their room and not worry about drinking and driving, there is uber and lyft for everyone's convenience. Bar: They have a bar in the banquet room which makes it convenient. They don't have to set up a bar service. Parking: Tons of parking in the parking lot. Dance Floor: The dance floor is pretty big and they just remodeled slightly by changing out their flooring to match the new coat of paint on the walls. The pizza joint nearby usually draws a lot of foot traffic, so this was a lucky break. Brian arranged special accommodations so we could set up without feeling rushed. Studio 41 offers catering and equipment rental, and they likely have someone to assist with party planning. I chose to handle everything myself, which I wouldn't do again--it's very time-consuming and I didn't get to sit down to enjoy the guest of honor. Despite the solo planning, we still had an absolutely fantastic time. No DJ was needed because the space is wired for Bluetooth, and the sound system is more than loud enough. The venue includes a small kitchen area for food storage and a massive fridge/freezer to keep beverages cold.

Nestled in the back of the valley of Pacifica in an outdoor shopping mall area you will find this very attractive venue. Perfect size for milestone celebrations. We celebrated my mother's 60th birthday and oh did we have a time. The main space was perfect size to comfortably fit our guests, dessert bar, photobooth, and the DJ. Yes I said we fit a DJ. The kitchen area had a nice huge refrigerator for us to store our beverages and items that needed to be kept cold, and a separated back room where we served our food buffet style. Brian is very easy to contact and was available from beginning to end. I would definitely recommend studio 41 venue for your next event.
