Trust me, I tried. You get everything from the traditional to the touristy if you want it, on this tour. We love the traditional tent reservation that is included in this tour, it is fun and festive. The hotel we stay in is modern, clean, and a great location to the fair grounds. Our Tour Guide Michael is the best part of this tour, he is so helpful and relaxed. He is there to make sure we have fun while staying safe in a foreign city.

We…read morehad such a great time and have become friends with everyone on the tour and, to be honest, it was a little depressing the couple weeks that followed going home. We all had so much fun we keep talking about a reunion. I'm always the travel organizer between my husband and I. Sometimes it feels like another full time job. There are so many details and arrangements to be made. The main reason we booked this trip was to make sure we were able to have tent reservations to get the full festival experience. We were in a tent with traditional dancing which was outstanding and made for a very authentic experience. When we booked this trip with Michael and Ivy, all we had to do was get ourselves to Munich and back home. Everything else was taken care of and it made the trip that much more relaxed and fun. We rode in some of the nicest buses I've ever been on. We stayed in nice hotels with good breakfasts and in great locations relative to public transit and city centers. That is always a major concern for me when visiting a new city because you want to be able to get around with ease. Michael and Ivy are seasoned travelers so you will never be left wondering where to go or how to get somewhere. I really enjoyed the fact that there were meals and activities we did all together as a group, but we also had plenty of free time to explore on our own. We always ended up running into or meeting up with our travel mates though, like the night we all (for some strange reason) ended up at the hotel lobby bar the night before we left Prague. Michael and Ivy are fantastic hosts and tour guides. You can really tell they do this because they love to travel and they love what they do.

Plenty of stops on the way for bathroom breaks and stretching, or grabbing a bite. Our tour guides Martin and Bev were fantastic keeping us entertained and informed. They took care of luggage and getting everyone's hotel keys, venue tickets, and above all doing a head count after EVERY stop! Our driver Paul was awesome! I felt totally at ease reading, doing a puzzle, or sleeping. Very safe operation of the behemoth 56 passenger bus. Meals included were always a multiple choice of 3 entrees so something for everyone. Some venues were a little rushed but that was due to the weather. All in all a great time.

The building was once chopped up into several units after the original owners. Everything invites you to touch and feel unlike most Wright museums. The furniture is sparse and reproductions. Springfield OH is home to Westcott House, architect Frank Lloyd Wright's first (and only) Prairie…read morestyle home in the state. The Westcott House had fallen into disrepair over the years, and was restored in 2005 by the local non profit Westcott House Foundation. The Foundation now owns the property and preserves it as a museum, which is open to the public for tours. Tour tickets can be purchased online. Our tour guide was fantastic. She had so much knowledge about the house, the architectural style and the Westcott family. The tour was scheduled for 90 minutes, but I think she could have shared info with us all day! The museum gift shop had some beautiful items. Parking is available on the street in front of the museum.

We bought this for our parents for their christmas gift and were suprised to see we were going on a school bus rather than the party bus that was pictured, it wasnt cleaned. If we would have been notified about this we would have changed our date where it would be available. The bus driver also went down a few wrong way roads and took some wrong turns which was concerning. the beer and food options were good at each stop.

With…read moreonly 12 spots per tour, it's an intimate gathering in which people got to know each other a little. Chrissie did a wonderful job including everyone and making each of us feel welcome. The tour included 6 food/drink stops and a few bonus stops of interest along the way. It lasted about 3.5 hours and we walked around 2 miles total. Each of the restaurants told us a little about their establishment and then shared a delicious sampling of what they have to offer. Chrissie was a fantastic guide with a wealth of information about Dayton history as we walked. She kept us moving to keep on schedule but it never felt rushed. JAM started as just a summer venture, but hopefully they will decide to add dates this fall. We will definitely recommend them to friends.
