They are at a new location with a bigger footprint , yet they still have a friendly and knowledgeable staff (including managers) , and they have more room for more items... I especially like the fact that the skis and snowboards are in separate locations so everyone hav a bit more room to breath... If you are into winter sports these folks are top notch. If you are looking for water sports, outdoor footwear, camping equipment, they are also top notch.

On 2/8/26 my family visited the store to purchase equipment for our first ski trip. Upon entering the store, we were not greeted or acknowledged by any staff members. During our time in the store, we observed employees actively engaging with and offering assistance to other customers. Despite our visible presence and attempts to seek help, no employee approached or offered assistance to our family. While attempting to locate ski goggles for my son, we approached an employee working in that section of the store. The employee ignored our presence and did not respond to our attempts to engage him. He only acknowledged us after noticing that we were attempting to locate assistance from another staff member. We then moved to the ski boot and winter boot section to request assistance. My son politely asked an employee located in the rear of the store for help. The employee immediately raised his voice toward my son and made an additional comment under his breath that was inappropriate and unprofessional. My son returned to my wife and I visibly uncomfortable. The same employee then approached our family and, in an aggressive and hostile tone, stated, "What do you want? Hurry up. I do not have a lot of time. Which one of you is first?" I addressed the employee directly and informed him that his conduct was rude and unprofessional. Due to the nature of that interaction, we discontinued seeking assistance from him. Despite the prior interactions, we proceeded to the checkout counter to complete a purchase. After waiting in line for service, the cashier answered a phone call and remained engaged on the call while we stood directly in front of him without acknowledgement or explanation. When the cashier concluded the call and began assisting us, we calmly explained the treatment we experienced in the rear of the store. The cashier responded by stating that the store was busy and suggested that we should return during non busy hours. This response dismissed our concerns and failed to address the conduct that occurred. Throughout our visit, we observed employees offering assistance and providing service to other customers while our family was repeatedly overlooked, spoken to in a hostile manner, and treated in a way that was materially different from other patrons. Based on the totality of these circumstances, we believe our family was subjected to discriminatory and disrespectful treatment. Most concerning was the emotional impact this experience had on our son, who was exposed to conduct that no child or customer should experience in a retail environment. Consumers should expect to be treated with professionalism, dignity, and equal service regardless of background. Based on our experience, individuals and families should carefully consider this when deciding where to purchase ski and winter sporting equipment. Response to my post; Chris, while I appreciate your respond it doesn't excuse your team and how they treated me and my family. It doesn't talk about what you and your staff will do going forward to ensure you don't treat people in such a demoralizing way. We will never come back to any of your locations. Praying that you see this for what it is and do more as a human to support those who want to enjoy outdoor sports

Disappointed with Customer Service at Pure Hockey…read more We purchased a CCM Trigger 9 from Pure Hockey on 12/21 as a Christmas gift for our son. On 1/4, we had it cut to size at the same location. After just three uses, we noticed a crack in the back of the blade near the toe--an unusual spot for a stick to break. Had it been a typical break, we'd chalk it up to bad luck, but this was clearly a defect. We submitted a claim to CCM, but they referred us back to Pure Hockey. When we brought the stick in, the manager admitted he had never seen a break like this but refused to help in any way. He kept repeating that CCM is strict with returns and would not even attempt to contact them on our behalf. When we asked if Pure Hockey could offer a discount on a replacement, they refused. We understand we were a week past CCM's 30-day warranty, but given the circumstances, we would have appreciated any effort to assist us. Even a simple, "Let me reach out to CCM and see what I can do" would have gone a long way. Instead, the attitude was dismissive. We want to support brick-and-mortar stores, but when customer service fails, there's no reason not to shop online and save money. Unfortunately, Pure Hockey has lost our business.

The displays were well organized, which made shopping very easy. I could easily find my size and preferred brands. They have an extensive stick selection! My favorite part wad the small scale rink. They will wrap any stick you're considering and let you use it on their synthetic rink. If you've ever purchased a stick just to find out you hate it after the first use than you understand why this is such a great offering! I visited in April and a large portion of their sticks were on sale - we're talking up to 50% off! Overall I had a great experience!!
