One of the best greenhouses you'll find in the state. Walking around this floral haven on a warm spring day brings almost as much joy as the plants you walk out with. You'll find a wide array of species and helpful staff to answer any questions. We bought some topiaries and they happily planted them for us In the new pots we bought from there. We also picked up a lot of Daffodils you see pictured below. Excited to go back in a few weeks to see what new additions there are!

My FAVORITE plant nursery ever. They have a wide selection of outdoor & indoor plants. It's located not too far from some beaches & is the quaintest nursery. It truly feels like a New England gem. I drive about 45 minutes to come here any time of year. Them being open all year round is so wonderful. Their greenhouses are stunning, with a whole greenhouse of succulents & propagations (not for sale, but pretty to look at & take pics of).

Ive been to many greenhouses in RI and have to say this one is by far my favorite. I stop in to walk around regularly! It's beautiful, all the plants are so well taken care of and the staff is super helpful. I've never had a bad experience with neither plant, nor staff. It's bigger than it appears from the outside and has so many little hidden gems as far as house plants go! from Hoya plants, succulents, begonias, to air plants, and even Venus fly traps. I started getting into caring for plants last year and have loved it tremendously, but have to admit it can get pricey, so it's really wonderful to find a place that has gorgeous, well taken care of plants, at very reasonable prices. There is truly something for every type of plant person, beginner or not, and even if you have no interest in owning plants, simply walking through this place is lovely.

Very calming spot to wander around and wish your thumb was a little greener

I'm not much of a gardener but my partner is and while she abstains from Yelping about any business I shall try to provide my thoughts on this horticultural haven. The spot is perfectly charming with much to see and dozens of little spots showcasing plants, flowers, pots and ornaments to adorn and beautify your green-space. There are plenty of helpful gardeners wandering around the premises whom you can call upon for guidance. I found myself a seat in the sun while my lady rubbed the leaves took in the scents and lost herself in visions of creating a secret garden. There is a restaurant I once went to in London that was attached to an equally beautiful garden center and since I dined there I have felt we need something like it in Rhode Island. I feel this would be the perfect place for a outdoor wine bar or a sip and shop theme. Maybe I am getting lost in thought but I feel that may be part of the fun of Peckham's Garden.

The most amazing & healthy selection of plants I have ever seen offered at a greenhouse in New England or NY.

For an avid gardner this place has been on my stop list since I moved to Aquidneck Island. I was…read moreblown away and disappointed at the same time. The place looks like the most magical garden ever. Little nooks filled with succulent in pretty pots, green houses filled with every color of begonias imaginable, fig trees in pots ready for the taking ( a bit pricy at 75 dollars but undertandable). We wondered in and out of greenhouses and through paths of flowers and greens without bumping into a single person for a good 15 minutes. Finally a tall teenager that i assumed worked there bumped into us, but being a teenager didn't even make eye contact. Finally a lovely woman said hello and asked if we needed help, i say thank you and we were just brownsing and complemented the fig plants and said i was thinking about buying one. She said let me know if i can help and walked towards the front of the gardens. We saw countless signs, signs telling us where to go, what type of flowers there were in the greenhouses and directions to the store and what type of payment they accepted. What i never, ever, ever saw was a sign saying "no photos please". As I crossed over a small lake i saw these beautiful hanging planters from the trees, they were magical and i pulled my photo to snap a foto to show my husband this amazing place i was in, when a woman comes running up the drive way yealling no photos, no photos, dont take photos. At first i didnt' undersdand what she was saying since i have never been asked to not take a photo at a plant nursery. i apologized and she repeated herself in a not so friendly way no photos. After being yelled at i felt so unconfortable that i quikly left. I was whilling to spend my money there, it was such a magical beautiful place that i felt it should be shared, yet the staff is incredibly unfriendly. If you didnt' want us to take pictures of the amazing job you have done perhaps post signs everywhere. Also just a heads up, the internet exhists, we can all google the type of arrangement we see there and create it ourselfs, with or without pictures. So my adivece is: work on your custumer service skills, you are sitting in a land mine of cash yet not taking advantage of it by being awful to people admiring your hard work.
