He ask a lot of questions about the problems we were having, and he walked me around the house to show me where the septic field was. Once he determined where the possible problem was, he got right to work, was very neat, and organized. In a very short time he was done with the repair, the septic work perfectly (and is still working), and it did not cost me an arm and a leg. During our conversation he mentioned that he also does real estate inspections, and septic pumping, as well as cleaning of drains and septic maintenance. I think that in the future in order to avoid any further problems with my septic, I will have him come out to the house on a regular basis to an sure my septic works properly.

My house is over 100 years old and the septic system isn't much newer, yet they have always been able to fix clogs and determine what the root cause was each time. Once it was a broken pipe, once it was the outflow of the tank that was blocked, and once it was just a simple clog from too much paper of the wrong sort. This week i had an emergency with my septic and have called numerous times and left multiple voice mails, all with no response. I even emailed and nothing. This is not an issue that can wait, so after 2 days of trying i reached out to a different company. I will no longer use A-1 again, and will be going with another company for all my future business. He kept poking in the ground and when hit solid said it was just rock...After a short time he knocks on the door saying he cannot find the tank, and wanted to call someone out to thread a camera through a clean out to find the tank. Which would have cost more, of course. I was suspicious, as last cleaner found tank in minutes, and told him I was cancelling. Later that day I watched Youtube video "How to find your tank". I found tank. His hitting hard solid was tank, not just rocks. Professional? These are scammers.

He not only saved my system but took the time to explain how and why this stuff actually needs your real attention! Instead of trying to UP-sell me on a new system (at the excellent rate he estimated still would have cost me THOUSANDS by the way!) he was successful in rescuing my old system! In addition to the usual email confirmation of the appointment, when the technician was on his way they provided a tracker where I could see (on a map) how far away he was. As far as the work, Brett helped us identify a couple of small gas leaks in the basement of our recently purchased home. He addressed both in an hour or two and even removed an additional empty pipe that wasn't needed along the gas line. Recommended team! Will have them back for our sump pump & water heater needs.
