Here's your run down: You walk in, grab a number from the stand right when you walk in (literally everyone read to take a number and just walked past it, I don't understand lol), they will call your number and ask you what test your taking. Then they give you a paper of all the rules and you sit back down. Then they call your number again, you say wha test your taking, show ID, take a photo and are asked to put all items in the lockers the provide. You go to the room they told you to go to, where you show them your pockets are empty and they scan a little wand to look for camera or any cheating devices. They were all very professional and kind. They also ask you multiple times what test you are taking, so it pretty hard to mess that up. I do recommend getting there 30 minutes early if you want to start your test in time. read more

Disappointing experience. During a scheduled break, I was notified from a proctor that I could use my phone in the hallway (outside of the Pearson office). Approximately, 3 minutes later, the same proctor came to me in the hallway and stated that since I accessed my phone that I could no longer finish my exam and needed to leave. I asked her why she initially told me that I could use my phone on my break and she stated she "didn't know" and had to verify the company rules. This is extremely frustrating because I was halfway done with my exam. I was not verbally notified that I could not access my phone on break and was in fact notified the opposite. I have taken multiple exams at Pearson locations throughout my career and this was my first experience at the Anaheim location. read more

First of all, I'm not sure what those other reviews are talking about when they say the staff was so rude. When I got notice I could schedule my appointment for NREMT I logged in, read all of the directions and was able to schedule an appointment a week later. I was sent an email with instructions and policy/rules that I would need to follow like no cell phones, watches, etc. in the testing area. I arrived 30 min early to my appointment like instructed to make sure there was enough time to get checked in and fill out any required paperwork. I was met by a very kind lady at the front desk. After checking in my name she gave me a policy sheet to look over, I think every test has their own policy sheet. Once I was done reading front and back, I was to go back to her to complete the check in process. As I approached the counter another person had come in just ahead to check in for their test. She was over an hour early. I overheard their conversation with the front desk and again, the lady was so kind she made a couple of calls to see if it's possible to get this person in so early which she was able to. Once back to the check in counter, she had me sign an electronic pad and took my picture. I was then instructed to go to the lockers and put all my belongings and make sure I had nothing but my ID with me. The lockers are like the Disneyland lockers with the orange key. Put your stuff in, take the key and your ID to your assigned area. Once you get to your assigned area, I think there are 3 areas, you are greeted by 1-2 staff members, again extremely nice, that are sitting in front of computer monitors that are displaying security cameras that are watching everyone taking their test in that area. I handed them my Id and they confirmed my information. Had me flip my pockets inside out, then had me rub my own hands down my pants and my waist so they could see there was nothing poking through the pants that I might be hiding to cheat with. They offered me ear plugs and gave me a dry erase paper and pen that I could take notes on if I needed and escorted me to my computer station. The test was probably the hardest I had taken at that point but mainly because of the testing environment. I think I just psyched myself because of the whole process. Just seemed more stressful than it really was. I was stopped at 70 questions which took me about 25 min. (I passed btw) I went through the final screens, raised my hand and a different lady that looked like she took over to let the other go on break, came over and asked if I was done. I confirmed with her and she walked me out and again confirmed my information for her to check me out on her screen asked if I had any questions. This lady was also very polite. I didn't have any questions so she told me I could go back up to the lobby, grab my stuff from the locker and then complete my check out with the front desk and they would have a print out for me. Overall it was a very positive experience. The staff was very kind and as long as you read the instructions from the time you make your appointment, to the email they send before your appointment, and the sheet they give you before you complete your check in, you should be well prepared. Advice, only bring your car keys, wallet, and phone with you into the building and any required documents they ask for, I didn't need any documents for the NREMT. They don't allow any study materials in the building so the less you bring the better. Phones and smart watches are ok in the building just not in the back testing areas so you can just lock it in the locker. It states all of this in the instructions before you actually show up to the appointment. I imagine the people that said the staff was rude probably didn't read any of the instructions and brought stuff with them they shouldn't have. I would definitely come back here. read more

Came here to take the project managers certification exam on 12/23 and honestly didn't know what to expect except they are very strict with your behavior and what you can and cannot take in with you. Overall, I found the experience as pleasant as it could be. The employees here are doing their job, which is specified in the exam parameters spelling out in their contract. Now thanks to COVID - they not only minimize conversation, but also contact. They are considered an essentials service so they've taken all the necessary COVID precautions. Hand sanitizer is everywhere and plexi shields to protect the employees are up. They have lockers for your personal items which I was able to access during the 10 minute break allowed by my 4 hour test. I brought some chocolate and water to give me a little energy boast which I was able to eat in the waiting room. They do have you pat yourself down, check all pockets, (on return from my break, a different person asked me to turn the ones I could inside out). I saw them check one woman's clip in her hair. They don't chances, but then again, if people want to cheat, they can get very creative. It makes sense. If someone were taking their physician or nursing board here, you want to deter as much cheating as possible. The rooms are pretty big with the monitoring station in a center room that has a paramaniac view of the testing stations. They gave me a tiny calculator along with a wipe board (actually looked like heavily laminated paper, about 4 pages, spiral bound with grid marks), and marker. They told me to 'spin around' so they could see me if I needed a new pen. I'm left handed and write at a weird angle so the pen sorta worked for me. I'm used to having to fudge the angle of pens to make them work. They also provided ear plugs if you wanted them. I took them as there was construction outside the building. I didn't hear much of it, but it did silence any movement around me. The room was maybe 30% full? Since the number of timeslots available were minimal when I made the appointment, I assume they've reduced their capacity for COVID. The staff was extremely professional the entire time and I had no problems. They even wished me good luck before start the exam and then again when I returned from my break. There is most likely a survey after your exam so make sure you hit NEXT. I was so excited that I passed (not every exam tells you if you passed or not, but mine did) that I didn't even notice there was a couple more steps and started to get up. The guy was very nice and made sure I finished. I turned all my given supplies in, and then front gave me a printout of my results with my next steps. I got my stuff out of my locker and returned the key to a bucket to be sterilized, and left. Overall, a great experience. Of course, I passed which helped, but I would like to think that even I didn't pass, I would still write this nice review. read more

Seriously indeed for sure. Came here to take my NCLEX, on a Thursday @ 8am 2/18/21. Covid spaced out seats during check in. Read the rules and then read the rules again. Your actually not nervous for the NCLEX, I was more Nervous checking in. Take a Picture, stand here, sign here, state tour name, Lock your stuff up. Since I was taking NCLEX I had to put my cell Phone in a bag and the lady labeled it, with the time I put it in and my name and had to put it in locker. Lots of parking. They didn't take no more than 15-20 student at a time for the testing. Everyone is at this facility taking different exams. No one is there for the same exam. It was a perfect time @ 8am. My test shut off @ 89Q and I had between 75-145. * Ask for ear plugs it's helpful and their given free only if you ask. It helps clear the noise. Ooo my glasses had to be checked as well, throughly to make sure there wasn't a device. Very systematic check in. And keeps you safe. Staff was friendly. You can not leave the building period for anything once your checked in. SO DONT FORGET YOUR GLASSES LIKE MINE. Mid check in I had to run to car ASAP. I passed my NCLEX :) this location was easy to find AND PARK. read more

The outdated computers crashed repeatedly and would freeze before anyone in the center could finish their tests. The staff were civil, but they told me that I would be able to reschedule within half an hour and that I would be emailed a case number to give on phone calls with representatives to sort out the rescheduling. Neither of these statements were true. For a company whose sole responsibility is to have available machines to take tests on, how is it acceptable that their machines are 10+ years old and sporadically can't run the test taking software? read more

Worst test center ever!! I went for my PTE exam and they gave me a PTE non-compatible headset!! I complained about it before the exam and they said they only have one and I have to work with it. As a result I got a lower score for speaking and they are not helping me to overcome this issue! I was not provided with any extra pen or paper throughout my exam! read more

Weekends you have to be buzzed in. Look at intercom instruction. They are strict and inspect your glasses too. Masks are enforced. Its warm in there so dress light 4 your long testing. Make sure you read and pay attention to their rule. Protocol is good. Staff not so friendly but your not there to make friends lol read more

I tested at this location a couple times and this is the first time I had a bizarre experience during the check in with the receptionists. Usually they're professional but maybe this time there was a new employee that doesn't understand the process? A blonde receptionist checked me in and told me to take a seat and walk into the hallway when it was clear. I took a seat and waited. There was a handful of people who also sat near the hallway, we were all given the same instructions. When the hallway was clear and it was my turn, I begun to walk towards the hallway when I heard someone shouting. She was a black haired receptionist who had just came in for her shift while I was waiting. She told me that there was still someone in the hall and I was confused because it was empty. She angrily told me to sit down. Other test takers waiting with me looked really confused too. Right when I took a seat, the other receptionist pointed to a test taker to go down the hall because it was clear. The black haired receptionist begin to argue with her coworker in the waiting room in front of everyone. It was extremely confusing when both employees weren't on the same page about their check in process. read more

My wife recently took the GMAT here. First of all, the older lady asked for a passport before we even speak a word assuming we're foreigners because we're Asian. (How else can you figure that out? The younger receptionist was helpful, but it's the older white lady sitting inside room that was the issue.) My wife is a permanent resident aka green card holder, but she was refused for a seat saying she's not a US citizen, thus she can't be seated. They didn't even give her a chance to speak. She had her green card and her California Driver's License that she presented. My wife who has to take this GMAT test to meet the school deadline was worried if she could take a test or not. She had to wait 30 minutes while every other people were admitted with no issue when she showed up 45 minutes before the test. Total wait time? 1hr 15min+ Are you effing kidding me? How many permanent residents are there in this country especially in California, and especially in Orange County. I would maybe understand it if we're in a rural area in Texas. I never experienced anything like this anywhere. I'm an Asian American born and raised in rural Texas so I've seen everything and also I have a very high tolerance regarding these type of issues than anyone else. The attitude was a big no no. I'm a type of guy who's chill and easy going about small stuff, but her hostile attitude was the issue. She just refused to listen. If you're not sure about the policy, at least ask your peers or look up the available resources. This is totally unacceptable. This organization has to look into these type of issues more seriously. If you're not White, don't even bother taking your test here or you will get discrimated like if it is 1960's. read more

I recently took the GMAT at the Pearson Professional Center in Anaheim. Though they recommend you to avoid alcohol the night before the exam, I beg to differ. I may have done better with a pounding hangover. The center itself is clean though the checking-in process was 20 minutes. In all honesty, those guys do take this testing seriously as I was asked for my ID on each exit and entrance from break. The test lasted for about 4 hours and I took only 2 breaks since I wanted to bolt out of there as fast as possible. There wasn't much distraction since they provide ear plugs but after 4 hours of having those little guys in my ears, I had an annoying ringing sound in my head the rest of the night. The test administrator monitors everything. I mean everything. They watch you through the plexiglass, listen to you breathe, see you on videos so don't pray out loud or read the questions out loud. The administrator told me that he had to stop one lady because she literally read each question out loud. For you test-takers, take the test in the afternoon. Drink a little the night before. Relax, it's only a test. You can always take it again even if you fail 5 times. No, I'm not taking it ever again. :) read more

Just took the NAPLEX at this center and I was pleasantly surprised by the cleanliness and the professional staff here. You can tell the staff are trained well as they're very detailed in keeping to the testing centers protocol. They are strict in making sure you acknowledge no personal items minus food and water in the test center premises. The test experience itself was pretty good. There were several amenities given to you such as a calculator (allowable for the NAPLEX), noise canceling headphones and earbuds. The staff were pretty good at noticing and escorting you out the testing room during your breaks. Overall, I would definitely choose this location again for future testing. read more

Good testing center. There is currently some construction but I didn't hear anything during the test. Use the ear plugs they offer you and put the headphones on.. helps a lot. Might be a little chilly in the testing room so bring a light jacket but not a heavy one. Staff is friendly and nice. I took both my S7 and S66 here. The only bad thing is that you need the key to get into the bathroom and if you test at 8 and need to use the bathroom before they open at 7:30 then you can't get in lol read more

I took a certification exam here on a Tuesday night and it was a pretty chill experience. I walked in around 5:20pm (my exam started at 6pm) and went straight to the 3rd floor. The bathrooms are right next to the elevator. The lady at the front desk was very nice. She gave me a sheet of rules, took a picture of my palm vein, took my picture, and told me where I could get a locker. Around 5:30-5:35 pm, a man called me and took me into the testing room. I started my exam right away. I think it's basically a first come, first serve basis. I'm pretty sure I was allowed to start right away because there were spaces available. The room was good. I wasn't too hot or too cold. They offer earplugs just in case the room gets noisy. You are only allowed to bring in your ID and your locker key (if you get one). read more

I was unfairly treated at the Anaheim test center. I was the only one that was told by the 2 ladies at the test center to take off my jacket while everyone else was not. Everyone else wore thick jacket without any problems. I know all bags, books, notes, cell phones, pagers, watches and walletsare not allow, but there is nothing written regarding not allow to wear jackets. This is the worst center. I won't ever come back to this center. read more

Large cubicles for computer-based tests without sacrificing comfort or privacy. Headphones or earbuds are also available to block out sound. Plenty of parking and easy to find. I took a licensure test here today. The center was easy to find. The office is on the 3rd floor and there is an elevator as soon as you walk into the building, to the left. This office was WAY easier and nicer than the previous Pearson testing center I visited in San Dimas. It's very clean and the restroom is location right outside the testing center suite. Several were waiting and they opened the door at 7:30. Staff members were very courteous and professional and the line moved quickly. I would have given 5 stars except I was irked by one thing. I had been battling a cold and had a residual cough. I left for a break after breaking out into a coughing spell. When I went back, I asked the front desk if I could bring cough drops in. I was told yes, if I took them out of the wrapper. Okay, I was irked because am I going to write notes on or cheat with a 2x2 inch piece of paper/Ricola wrapper? I unwrapped them and was told that I could put them on a tissue when I entered the testing room with the proctor. Okay, who knows what happens to cough drops placed on a tissue/kleenex? Right, I had to use them with one side completely covered with tissue. Ugh! Is this my main issue? No, I'm a rules-follower so that was fine. What made me angry was sitting out in the lobby on a break and watching people "on breaks" open their lockers and read through notebooks/notes or go on their smart phones, including taking the phone out to the bathroom out of sight. Why worry about my cough drop wrapper when people can blatantly cheat with their materials on a break? read more

My experience here was pleasant overall. The staff is courteous, and the bathrooms are located just outside the test center (very important during break time). The only thing that keeps this location from 5 stars, are that the bathrooms are small and dated. There is only one stall and one urinal for men. Aside from that, the process of checking in and out during breaks was very quick. They have two small test rooms, compared to just a single large test room. read more

This place is about as efficient as the DMV. Go anywhere but here. Seriously. Check in time was 30 minutes (for reference Glendale took me about 2 minutes). There's also this old bald proctor who was just daydreaming the whole time and didn't notice me raising my hand for 5 minutes. Finally I tapped on the glass to get his attention and he got all pissy about me making noise. I told him to check the video tape which proved he wasn't doing his job. I took my MCAT here in September 2019. Check was organized and as fast as it could be. There's a lot of people that need to be checked in so if course there is gonna be some sort of wait. The temperature of the testing room was very comfortable. I brought a light sweater just in case but would have been fine without it. Word of warning for anyone taking an exam here. I came here to take my ASCP MLS board exam about a week ago. After I finished my exam, I took a break, when I came back the computer froze and they sent me home, assuring me that my exam was fine and I would get an email within a few days. So after a week I get a call saying that they just lost my exam completely and I have to retake it. Just be careful because apparently there's no backup system of any sort to prevent this sort of thing from happening. If there is, it obviously doesn't work very well. read more

I came to take the CSET today. There's construction around the area where the building is, but I was able to find the building and parking easily. Once I got inside the building. I was confused as to where I had to go. There was just 2 elevators and doors that lead to who knows where. I went to the third floor and found my way to the correct place. Everyone there was really nice and clearly explained to me what I had to do. I brought a small bag so they said I could place it in one of the lockers. I was only allowed to take my ID and the key to the locker. Once I was inside taking my test, I noticed the room was at a good temperature. Not too warm and not cold, which is perfect for me. They also had headphones in case you wanted to cancel out noise. It was really quiet already, except for the occasional cough here & there. When I finished, I raised my hand and someone came to collect my test stuff. Overall everything was good, and there really isn't anything I would complain about this place. read more

Of all the locations I have been to, I like this location the most. The staff aren't are serious here, but they do their job. Location is close to my parents too, so I don't have to drive farther out to the other locations. So far I've taken at least 3 exams at this location and my experience has been great. read more

This was a great experience all the way around, not only did I pass my exam but it was a pleasure to take it here. From the moment I walked in I was greeted with smiles and helped right away. The front desk ladies were very informative and pleasantly helpful answering all my questions and concerns. The administrator called me in she was also nice and accommodating. The room was a perfect temp for me, I need to be cold and alert so I can get through my exam lol but it was actually just right. Computer system easy to navigate through, finish my exam, raise my hand, proctor came within the minute he was very nice as well, explained his process and sent me on my way. Last encounter with front desk is handing me that happy ending that says PASS!!!! she asked me would I be taking more tests and the answer is yes I would be in a couple months and it will be here thanks for making it smooth. And as others mentioned very convenient bathroom right outside the door always a plus. And a major tip for any of my fellow Yelpers when reading the complaints of others on here take that with a grain of salt and I would advise you just to take the time and read the 2 page rules and regulations they hand you before you take your exam and I guarantee you!!!! You will have no complaints, I saw a girl come in after me and I was still reading the rules and she picked it up and "read" it faster than the Reed character on Criminal Minds, people like that will be the first one complaining nobody told them so. I've been here twice now. The staff up front and in the back are all really friendly and efficient at what they do. The testing area is quiet, which I need to take a test! They offer earplugs if you need them, too (to muffle out the sounds of typing and chair squeaks). I didn't find the room too hot or cold...it was rather comfortable both times I've been here. Bring your ID and nothing else. They have lockers, but they are small and square, so nothing big will fit. I bring my wallet and keys. They make you keep your ID on you at all times, but EVERYTHING else goes in the locker. You have to show your ID and do a palm scan any time you enter and leave the testing area. No study materials are allowed inside the building (not even the waiting room). I heard one staff member at the front desk tell a girl she had to put her books in her car. Just be warned, you won't get some extra study time while you wait for your test! You won't have time, though...the other day I got there 30 minutes early (like you are supposed to) and I got signed in and STARTED MY TEST five minutes later. Whoever said that this location takes forever to get you started...maybe they came on a bad day. I don't know (I do know that my first test time, around 1pm on a Wednesday, was busier than my test the other day, around 5pm on a Wednesday). I'm coming here for my last two CSET exams and for any more that I may take in the future. read more

I was able to finish my test without problems. However, their printer wasn't working and I couldn't get my printed score. After a draining 4 hour test, I just wanted to gather my thoughts as I sat in a chair. They asked why I was there. Its a minor complaint, but the customer service is off and the printer not working is not acceptable for a professional center. read more

I called to reschedule CSET test. When I called the first time the person on the phone could not operate his computer. Why is it when you call these companies all their staff are located in India? He told me that he could not help me and to hang up and call back. I called back they never answered the phone and kept me on hold for 20 minutes listening to their music. I hung up and tried to call back later. It is hard to wait on the phone while your at work plus, My boss is not happy with me :( . When I called them back they told me that I waited too long and they could not reschedule my appointment. I explained about the person who had me hang up and call back. They said it did not matter. I asked for a supervisor. The representative told me that it would not matter and that they can not reschedule my test either. I asked her again for her supervisor she then put me on hold for 10 minutes. The supervisor came on and when I explained what had happened she told me that she will reschedule my test this "one" time. I got my test rescheduled but if I had not stood my ground and asked for a supervisor I would have been stuck. If their was another company who did this type of testing, I would diffidently switch, but their isn't. Moral to the story : always ask for their supervisor to get anything done. read more

I had no trouble today taking the CBEST. I arrived at 7:25 and they opened the doors at 7:30. There were a lot of people there but processed them in an efficient manner. They check your ID, take your picture, and do a palm scan. You put all of your stuff in a locker. You do not need pencils or paper. You are supplied with a spiral bound pad of dry erase papers and marker. I wasn't sure about these, but now I think it works much better than regular paper. The chair and temperature were comfortable. I would test here again. read more
