The first time, I went in pretty close to 7pm, which is when they close. I paid the $3, got my wash, went home and put my car in the garage for the rest of the night. The next morning when I went out, I noticed that a two foot wide area from the top of my trunk all the way down to the bumper had not been cleaned. When I drove back and asked them to rewash the car because it had clearly not been entirely cleaned the night before, they told me I'd have to pay again because I "could've driven the car all around town the previous night and now looking for a free wash." I reminded the guy that he took my money the previous night at closing time and if he simply looked at my car, he could tell that it hadn't been "driven all around town." He refused and said their policy was only to rewash the car in the same day (hour). I advised him that our conversation had the potential to go bad very quickly but that he had an opportunity to make what was obviously an incomplete wash, right. He said "that's not our policy," then demanded I pay the $3. I told him I was not going to pay for something I had already paid for the previous night. So, rather than do the right thing, they let me back out of the tracks without any guidance and be on my way. When I got to work, I called and spoke with a "manager," and was spoken to so rudely I thought it might be a joke. But it wasn't. They really were that rude. Since I believe in giving everyone a second chance, a month or so later, I thought I would give it another try. They were moving cars through the wash so close together that if you didn't actually drive out of the dryer, you would bump, as one set of cars did, so the line was stopped while they both checked their cars. When I asked if they would please put some space between my car and the cars around me, the guy waved me off and what do you know... my car was packed in tight between two other cars. It came out without the giant strip of unwashed area this time, but pretty much all the corners (mirrors, license plate area, outer edges of the windows, etc.) were still dirty. This was last summer. Today I went there again because I was in a hurry and not thinking about the previous incidents. Suffice to say, nothing has changed, except the price, which has been increased to $3.50. When I pulled into the track, I gave the guy my money and asked if they could please be sure to clean the entire back of the car. His reply was "I can't hear a word you're saying." When I repeated my request, he again said "I said, I can't hear a word you're saying," followed by "just wait a minute." He then bent into my window and I repeated my request once again. In the middle of my sentence, he smirked at me and walked away, then sent me through the wash. The smell coming through my vents was like a sewer, and there was no soapy smell or suds. The cloth strips going back and forth across my car were tattered and filthy, and once again, there is a two foot strip down my trunk that is totally untouched. I generally like to give my money to small, local businesses, but with the attitudes of the employees and management of this place, along with the terrible quality of the wash (which actually seems to be getting worse over time) and increase in price, this place will never see another penny of my money. They need to learn that they cannot treat their customers like they are an inconvenience and still get their business. Don't waste your money, because you'll be encouraging the behavior, and you'll still need to take your car to another car wash if you actually want it clean.
