There are other offices in this building as well. There is a parking lot in front of the building, but I didn't see any reserved spots for Eyediology Vision. Instead, I parked on one of the side streets. We were welcomed by friendly staff during check-in. There is an area with water, soda, and coffee for patients. The office is very modern, clean, and organized. The technician did some tests and then I met Dr. Kriti Bhagat. Dr. Bhagat is the owner and founder of Eyediology Vision. She was very professional and friendly. My husband purchased glasses with Eyediology Vision and the staff were very helpful in the process. They really care about you feeling comfortable with the glasses. I am looking forward to my next annual visit with Dr. Kriti Bhagat.

She thought there was an issue, so the office set me up with Dr. Kriti Bhagat, OD, FAAO. Eyediology Vision is only about 8 months old, and on the East Side in the Bliss building. It is difficult to park; there are only 2 spaces in the parking lot for visitors. There is on street parking if you get lucky enough to find a spot, or a pay lot not far from the building. The office itself is gorgeous! Black and white finishes, and the equipment is state of the art. The staff were very personable and friendly. Dr. Bhagat is just as friendly, took her time with me, and explained everything she was doing in layman terms, and that made my visit a great one. She specializes in my type of lenses- the reason I am grateful my doctor referred me here. If you are looking for an eye doctor, this new office is the place to try!

But I had broken the frames so I was willing to pay for the frames I just needed the lenses replaced. What happens and I wasn't able to get back there and I actually completely forgot about them. So when I called to ask about where we were in the process they told me I needed to bring in my broken frames in order for the lab to make a new glasses. What? I obviously don't have the broken frames. No one told me this information the first time I went. And the girl on the phone kept saying well since it's been so long (about six months) what does that matter? My prescription is good for a year and the prescription was incorrect so either way I still needed a replacement but they told me I would have to pay full price for the frames and the lenses. The girl on the phone was not helpful. Just very disappointed. I will not be returning there. On the other hand the doctor was very nice and helpful. Was able to see me in short notice.

I was very happy to find a new optometrist and didn't anticipate returning for a second visit so quickly. Within a few days of my appointment I got something in my eye when walking outside in the wind. I finally called several days later when it became even more irritated and they worked me in the same day. Dr. McMahon found a grain of sand had stuck itself to my eye and said next time to not hesitate calling to come in for a check. It was such a relief to get it out and they were so awesome to get me scheduled same day to come in when I called. My daughter needs a new optometrist and I know who I'll be sending her to! I highly recommend Dr. McMahon and appreciate how considerate and professional both she and her practice is.

Great experience at this Target Optical location. I was here solely to find new frames as I see an…read moreoptician elsewhere for my exams. Normally, I buy frames at my optician's office but decided to shop around this time for a deal. Glad I did! There is a decent collection of frames here. Not a ton to choose from but enough of a selection that I was able to try on a few options I was interested in. Sales associates were available but not pushy. After I had some time to look on my own, the associate offered her assistance based on the criteria I had in mind. I was able to land on a fun pair of Cranberry-colored wire frame glasses. At a great price too! The associate worked to find me the best deal. The optical store was running a promotion at the time that would have saved me a lot of money on the frames. Fortunately, my eye health insurance offered a slightly better deal. I was concerned about how the thick the lenses would look in such a delicate frame. I wavered back and forth between spending the extra money to reduce the thickness of the frames. It was a significant difference. Not knowing what to do, the associate offered that if I was unhappy with the look of the cheaper option, I could simply pay what was left of the extra cost to get them replaced. Decision made. Within a week or 2 my new frames were ready. The thickness of the lenses was no bother and I didn't need to spend the extra money. It was nice to know though that I wasn't stuck with them if I hated them. The associate quickly fitted the eyeglass arms to my ears and I was on my way. They were very supportive in how the final frame looked. Pleasant experience, easy to work with.

Just an overall bad first experience here.. actual exam with Dr. Tahmassian was easy, but…read moreexperience otherwise was terrible/mishandled. Booked an eye exam appointment a few weeks prior (as previous OD office was switching hands and ~40 minutes away), went thru the typical eye exam with Dr. Tahmassian, went to check out to make next year's appointment and was told extra services were performed causing extra charges (+$69 for contact fitting and exam) outside the typical co-pay.. Office manager insisted this was business-standard, however after calling two other ODs and my previous OD, this extra charge was clearly not business-standard; "..an eye exam covers the examination of the eyes..will include eyeglass prescription and contact lens prescription if applicable..contact lens fitting for astigmatism would be extra, but no such exam specific to contact lens..vision is vision..", as stated collectively from three other ODs. Office manager, at the time of check out, refused to acknowledge just one eye exam was performed (no fitting was performed, asked for, or mentioned thru booking or thru exam with doctor), refused to give prescriptions until I paid their ask of additional charges, and insisted additional charges are business-standard for contact wearing clients. Additionally, office manager handed me incorrect prescriptions twice and told me I was all set both times; first time handed me two contact lens prescriptions (no eyeglass prescription), and second time handed me correct prescriptions however unsigned.

I got new glasses and had a really hard time wearing them. I had bad headaches and my eyes felt very strained wearing them. I stopped wearing them and went back to my old glasses. I went to a different place last week and learned that my eyes hadn't changed; the prescription from Providence Optical was completely wrong. I'll never be back.

And they seem to take lots of insurance and make it all very easy. I've seen two optometrists and they were both great. They really make sure you get the right contacts.
