When I woke up "Both of My eyes were hurting so much!!!! AND "For the record" I did try numerous times taking out the Contacts with Contact Lenses Solution with my thumbs but it didn't work . "Both of my eyes were hurting so much and the pain in both of my eyes was unbearable". I knew that there was no way that I could drive on I75 from LAKEWOOD RANCH. My husband was at work. Therefore, I had to wait until he got off work so he could take me directly to GULF COSTAL EYE CENTER. But the point of this review I was in so much pain and it was unbearable. Dr Steven Bovio took the time 30 minutes before closing his office to attend me. He cleared me that I didn't have the contact lenses still in my eyes and he prescribed eye drop medication to take. I called the number provided, was told I was next in line, then next time it was a 20 minute wait. I opted for a callback. When the callback came, this time a 6 minute wait and asked me if I wanted a callback again! What the heck, I asked again for a callback. When it came, it was another 3 minute wait. In the meantime, I had updated my insurance on their check in portal. When I finally got to a representative, he said it takes a while before they see the update but I should be fine. I'm happy with my Doctor, but this administrative process seems broken to me. If the text had said call or check in online with your insurance info, all of this frustration would have been abounded.

The exam by Dr. Tumolo was extremely basic--even Walmart has far better technology and machinery. They messed up my prescription **twice**. The first time, everything was completely blurry. I came back for a re-examination, the doctor refused to even look at the defective glasses, and the second pair was just as useless. I can't read a single thing with them. When I requested a full refund for this substandard service, the medical staff's behavior was disgraceful. While the head of the glasses selection department provides excellent and magnificent customer service, the optical/medical side is a disaster. A gray-haired older woman at the desk was incredibly rude, hostile, and completely lacked basic customer service skills. After weeks of being ignored, lied to, and told emails were being sent to billing, she and her manager today flatly refused to issue a refund, offering yet another useless appointment instead. I do not want another appointment with a company that fails twice. I want my money back for a service that was never properly delivered. I will be filing a formal complaint with the Better Business Bureau (BBB) and corporate offices. Protect your wallet and your eyes: **STAY AWAY.**

I have gone to other sources in the past to "save money" on frames and lenses, but what it really comes down to is you get what you pay for in the end. I am very happy with the glasses made for me and with Michael's suggestions, I can honestly say these are the best and most comfortable glasses I have had in a very long time!
