His dedication to helping people, especially those in the Quakertown community who are less fortunate, is something I've always admired. My only concern isn't with Dr. Kenny himself, but with how the parking lot is sometimes handled during events at the nearby school. A staff member with long brown hair regularly places barricades across the parking lot, which doesn't feel very community-friendly. Ironically, patients then end up parking in front of the neighboring homes instead. I realize this is likely not Dr. Kenny's decision, as he usually isn't there when the barricades are put up, nor can he control where patients choose to park. That's why I don't believe these decisions reflect his values or are made at his request. Made an appointment for 3:30, arrived and heard entrance bell ring in the back. After sitting and waiting for 45 minutes while over-hearing 2 employees causally chatting in the back, turned out one was Steve, he was completely ignoring us. My Mother wanted to leave. Thought it odd that there were no other customers the whole time we were there. As I walked around the store I noticed that everything incl. displays, counters and the old-looking eyeglass frames are covered with dust, water stains on many of the ceiling tiles, dirty air ducts. Signs of a major lack of caring in the business and presentation. When Steve did eventually stroll out, he gave no greeting and from then we were treated like we were agents from the IRS. He asked for her hearing aids, went in the back with them muttering something about cleaning them. Never checked her ears for possible wax accumulation. Mom wanted to leave but now was captive because he had her hearing aids. After another half-hour had gone by, while we over-heard the 2 employees chatting again which felt like an hour, I hollered "Hello," The other employee walked out and handed the hearing aids to my Mother. No "thank you," no invitation for her to put them in and converse a little to test if she could hear better. Just turned and walked away. UNBELIEVABLE. The customer service was so blatantly bad, it is clear that this is a dead or hopeless rapidly expiring business that had formerly been successful in years past (when the founder-father was actively involved,) but now is left to die. We will NEVER be back, nor send anyone else there.

My child had her eye exam on March 24, 2026 for new glasses and contacts. It took around 2 month…read moreto get her glasses. I asked about her contacts and was told they weren't in. I checked back 3-4 times over the next 2-3 months and was finally told that they were sent back because we hadn't picked them up. I told them we were never contacted to let us know they were in and asked that they re-order them. Again we waited. I was finally contacted on September 17, 2026 and told that they were in and her fitting was scheduled for September 22. I pulled her out of school to go to this appointment just to be told it was never entered into the schedule and the manager only had one technician on duty, in a completely empty store and couldn't help us. She then scheduled us for September 24, when I, yet again pulled my child from school to get her contacts fitted. We arrived at the appointment only to be told that the Quakertown manager wasn't there, there was no doctor there to do the fitting and we would either need to reschedule again or go to a different location. The manager and technician from the King of Prussia location were there, helped us schedule a fitting with the doctor at the Bethlehem location and went out of their way to apologize, for something that wasn't their fault and to help us. Needless to say, I will never go back to the Quakertown location and will tell all my friends and family to stay away from there. We were the third client scheduled for a contact fitting today and all of us were not seen. This manager needs to either get better training or find another line of work. This is ridiculous.

I like this location and I also shop at the Montgoneryville & Warrington locations. They obviously have many of the same items but I have found some excellent deals at this location. I don't think this is a high volume store and maybe that's why they reduce items aggressively. Today I bought 3 PGA golf shirts and they were only $10.99 each. Would be 5 stars if they had gas.

I kept calling and was continuously told "they are in processing." When I received them back, the frames were broken on one side. The manager said I signed a form saying it's my responsibility if BJs breaks them so I was out of luck. So 4 weeks later I receive my expensive frames back, broken. Not worth the discount!
