After waiting three months and multiple excuses why the glasses weren't ready we cancelled the order and requested a refund. It took almost another two months and multiple calls to finally receive the refund. In addition the store manager lied to my face about trying to call me on several occasions. Overall this was a frustrating and unpleasant experience.

Called Spectera and they confirmed my benefit and stated they were a participating dealer. I got no where with sales staff and Iris was rude and never returned my calls. The customer service was a negative 10! After 3 weeks I never got a call that my glasses were ready! They make you pay upfront and say 7-10 days for completion... lie! I had to call to arrange my pick up. Then the glasses were not dispensed properly either! Just hand off with no checking fitting on my face or optical reading of small print. Just handed glasses that had fingerprints all over lenses... I had to ask B to please clean them! I was lucky to get a case for my new glasses! With all this negative experience I decided to reach out to corporate by email. I got a response from a Laura V (cc Mary and Karen)with a request for me to show her proof of my benefit and EOB WHICH THEY HAD! I provided her with my benefit with Spectera and requested copy of my EOB. It's now almost two weeks since my response to Laura V. I have received NO RESPONSE from Laura V., or any other person from Cohen optical. I would not recommend this company to anyone! Myself (the mother) had the expected short vision problems, but Dr Grygier was able to prescribe me gradual lenses that allow me to see so much better close by, middle distance and long distance (I happen to have some astigmatism and also work as an artist, so "mid distance" good sight is important in my job)

They didn't tell me it will be billed to my health insurance instead of vision care. The doctor then blamed me to say I didn't ask, well, I dropped everything to drive there, as he has confirmed with me the day before that he is in my network for my vision insurance and we made an appointment for the end of the week. I wasn't even in the store for five seconds before realizing how unprofessional the staff is. Upon arrival, the front desk associate was busy working with her back turned. Before she even had the chance to turn around and greet me a woman in a white medical coat made a visibly irritated face at me for simply standing there. She then barked "Can I help you?" with an unprovoked/hostile tone. Refusing to waste my time or give my money to people who treat potential clients like a nuisance I turned right around and left. Hoping to address the behavior, I called to speak with the practice manager-who turned out to be the same associate who was working at the front desk. Instead of addressing her colleague's blatantly bad attitude her excuse was that she "didn't see much" as her back was turned followed by a patronizing "I'm so sorry you feel that way." Free advice for the practice manager: Telling a customer "sorry you feel that way" isn't de-escalation; it's a lazy brush off and a refusal to take responsibility for how customers are treated. You lost an easy sale today and I'll be taking my business to a practice that actually understands basic customer service. Save yourself the frustration and go literally anywhere else
