This summer we were visiting…read morefamily in New Canaan when my left eye, that I was wearing contacts in, started stinging and burning. I called New Canaan Eye Associates and even though it was 3:30pm, they said it sounded urgent and fit me in right away. Dr. Crolla and his team were incredible. They got me in and Dr. Crolla performed an eye exam. At each step he explained what he was doing. I left with eye drops and a prescription for watchfully waiting. The next morning, I work up and my eye was stinging and painful. Dr. Crolla's office got me in right away again. He looked at it and immediately said that I needed to be referred out to an opthamologist because it might be an issue with my cornea. He referred me to Dr. Orren in Norwalk. Dr. Orren's office then got me in and within two hours, my eyes had been examined thoroughly and there was a diagnosis: shingles in my left eye. Dr. Orren prescribed me medication, which I took. Within a day the pain was gone. It was a great thing that Dr. Crolla referred me and Dr. Orren caught this - shingles can have lasting impacts on vision. Dr. Crolla saved my vision in my left eye and did it by seeing me right away and knowing when to refer me. Thank you Dr. Crolla and New Canaan Eye Associates!

Imagine asking for them and then being requested to email. So, you email. Then being told, it's not good enough. You must paper mail the request. So you do that. Then being asked to fax. Who owns a fax? Also they have no record of any of your previous requests. You request over and over from Oct until December. And then they...what? They hang up on you. What was the last question you asked before they hung up? "What can I do now?"...click. Oh and this is on top of waiting up to 45-60 minutes for an appt time. Office not opening at the hour it should open. Calls not being returned. And multiple, multiple other things. Unfortunate to leave this review. But I want to warn others to not waste the time, or cause stress on their lives with an office that does not care about your well being.

That's the spirit of a small town. To let my friend use the pump for less than a minute would have cost him nothing and we would have remembered it. Instead, his incredibly rude attitude made sure that neither of us will ever buy a bike from him we will definitely go out of our way to never service a bike with him or buy any supplies.
