The shellac went all over my skin, the girl next to me said they cut her toe- and another girl walked in complaining of her shellac lifting after only 2 days. Yes they are cheaper than other places but you can't put a price on avoiding a nail infection or cleanliness!

Ever since I've been a client, I have had one problem after another. Chipped and split toe nails (they are happy to paint uneven edged toe nails) skin infected nails needing a course of antibiotics (because they draw blood with equipment ? unhygienic), now I have a fungal infected nail which they were happy to just put a fresh acrylic over (absolutely the wrong thing to do - chemist advice - unless you want to lose the nail). I have never had this happen to me before and have had acrylics for about 16 years. If you dare to bring anything like this to their attention, you will find they deflect all responsibility and actually try to blame the client for comming in with the problem and about that point they try to tell you that YOU are wasting their time! That's if you can communicate through their considerable language problem. Yes they are less expensive than many 'salons' but save yourself these problems and NEVER walk through their doors. If there was a government regulator or association I could report them to I WOULD. Hence, this is why they safely take NO responsibility for their actions. Westfield Miranda (post billion $ refurbishment) I hope you also take note and rid the centre of this unhygienic, and irresponsible business and their 3rd world hygiene and business practices.

The front of their store is set up with tables for manicures, comfortable lounge chairs with the foot spas to soak your feet into, and a few separate back rooms to cater for waxing. Prices are very affordable and the quiet of the salon is something I personally look for. The place is quiet and perfect to relax while you get your manicure and/or pedicures, facials, tanning, permanent French, gels, acrylics or waxing, Joanne's makes sure you feel a hundred times better leaving than when you walk in.

When i went back the next day the so called Beautician Anna was unapologetic & refused a refund. She did offer to redo my nails. But i wasn't going to let her touch my nails again & i did have my three kids with me. She -Anna told me if she had to refund money to everyone who complained she would have to close her shop! There you go she said it herself she doesn't know what shes doing!! If you did your job right the first time people wouldn't have to come back for refunds!
