DO NOT GO HERE - was the worst experience I've had. Dirt, skin and nails everywhere. All over the floor chairs etc. each hand towel they used on me were unclean, ripped and left threads all over my skin. When I complained they said it's ok and shook my hand to get them off. The shellac went all over my skin, the girl next to me said they cut her toe- and another girl walked in complaining of her shellac lifting after only 2 days. I have been going to American Nails at Westfield Miranda for about 6 months (end of 2015). I've had acrylic infill and pedis - both with shellac. Ever since I've been a client, I have had one problem after another. Chipped and split toe nails (they are happy to paint uneven edged toe nails) skin infected nails needing a course of antibiotics (because they draw blood with equipment ? unhygienic), now I have a fungal infected nail which they were happy to just put a fresh acrylic over (absolutely the wrong thing to do - chemist advice - unless you want to lose the nail). I have never had this happen to me before and have had acrylics for about 16 years. If you dare to bring anything like this to their attention, you will find they deflect all responsibility and actually try to blame the client for comming in with the problem and about that point they try to tell you that YOU are wasting their time! That's if you can communicate through their considerable language problem. Yes they are less expensive than many 'salons' but save yourself these problems and NEVER walk through their doors. If there was a government regulator or association I could report them to I WOULD. Hence, this is why they safely take NO responsibility for their actions. Westfield Miranda (post billion $ refurbishment) I hope you also take note and rid the centre of this unhygienic, and irresponsible business and their 3rd world hygiene and business practices. read more

This place is pure filth. Nothing seems to be clean or maintained. Staff answer personal phone calls mid pedicure. Rust on pedicure machines. small baby cockroaches located EVERYWHERE in the shop, and the lady doing my nails is yet to acknowledge my existence. I regret my choice on saving 15 dollars on not going to advanced nail. Horrible experience and will suggest to people not to get there nails done here read more

My service was absolutely horrible. When I asked for pressure during my pedicure they laughed and started talking in their language and totally ignores me. I then asked if I could go and they said yes but when I put my thongs on my nails were still wet. Totally filthy floor and benches read more

Although they do a good job on nails, their customer service is awful. The staff can be quite rude and intimidating, and therefore the overall experience is not worth it. Today I sat for half an hour waiting for someone to do my nails before they told me I'd only be waiting another two minutes. Ten minutes later, someone finally attended to me. The prices are very reasonable, but considering the quality of customer service, I'd rather pay more to be around nicer, more polite people. read more

This was absolutely disgusting! From the moment you walk in and the older man barks at you to pick your colour, there is a real lack of customer service. Had a manicure and shellac and was serviced by three different "technicians", if they actually had any professional training. Not one of them spoke to me, and the one girl only rolled her eyes when I told her she was hurting me with the rotary heat. The curing light was old and filthy, and with four sloppy coats, I left with soft shellac. Definitely the WORST experience I've ever had....BY FAR!!! Stay away. read more

WORST PLACE EVER! I've been there a few time and the worker are really rude. They often smack your hand and are not very nice. They always talk about us in their own language and give us dirty looks. Yesterday I was there with my friend and they let 5 people push in front of us!!! Never going there again and their salon has given people I know infections and they don't not clean they're tools.
