I find it difficult to not be able to meet the actual person who does the alterations. I have had two expensive items ruined. I had a wool blazer taken up in the sleeve and they just folded over the cuff. Now the buttons are right at the end of the cuff. WhenI went back to ask her about the way it was done, she couldn't come up with a good explanation. I also had a hard time explaining why I didn't like it. She said it's the only way that they do it. A men's suit would be ruined if they did it this way. I also had a dress hemmed only one inch which was the exact same length of the hem it had when purchased. The material is puckered and damaged and not done correctly. I wish that they had someone that I could call to discuss this matter. Its a place right around the corner from where I live and I really wanted to like them!
