Every exhibit actually keeps them engaged not just looking, but doing. The interactive tables (like the spinning drum and dice games) were a hit. My kids didn't want to leave and kept going back to the same stations. It's also really clean, organized, and easy to navigate even with little ones. Pricing was reasonable for what you get abbout $25 for adults, $20 for kids, and under 2 is free, which is nice. Staff was friendly and everything felt well-maintained. You can tell they designed this place with kids in mind but adults still have fun too. Definitely a solid family day trip spot from LA. Would come back again

I figured out it was the Moxi. I guess it make quite the impression on her last year. The museum had some new exhibits this time around. They added a fun ball launcher that I also enjoyed as well. The water exhibit could use some love. Some of the hydraulic levers was either not working or you had to really work at it. My toddler was not strong enough to use them. One thing I like is that we were able to leave and come back after lunch. We got to make the most if our trip. I'm sure we'll ge back next year.

The cabins are really clean and have bunk beds galore that squeak a little but are sleepable. The main lodge is great for meals and they have a ton of games for the kids. They even have a stage for the kids to do skits. The camp is on the north side of a mountain above 6000 ft so the snow stays around for a while. This year we went up there and had a blast making sled runs and snow men as well as many snow forts/igloos. The food was decent camp food and they really cater to kids offering healthy kid friendly options. It was my son's first real time in the snow and it was quality father son time that I'll never forget. Thanks so much Camp St Nicholas for a great winter camp experience.

It wasn't listed on their website but they immediately got back to me and worked with me to make this happen. I got connected to hip hop teacher, Lacy, who let the bride pick the song. Having the bride pick the song to learn a minute or so of fun choreography was the perfect format. I liked how the choreography was both manageable for the beginners and fun for the more advanced dancers. We had such a good time and the bachelorette attendees told me after the weekend ended that the dance class was a bachelorette highlight. It certainly was mine! I also loved seeing the bride sport the biggest smile on her face the entire time. Thanks to SB Dance Arts team for making this happen and to Lacy for being such a fun and good teacher! HIGHLY recommend!

Their response? It was "just a parent" filming, and they saw no need to take further action--even refusing to ask parents to only record their own children. In today's world, where recordings of young girls can end up misused online, I expected more awareness and safeguards from the management. A simple policy or announcement would go a long way, but instead, they offered a vague, dismissive response. I find this lack of action concerning and irresponsible. If your priority is your child's safety, I recommend finding a studio that takes it seriously and sets clear boundaries around filming.

I was informed to pay my last installment the day before camp started. I paid the day before camp, and she said. "Thank you!". Within a few hours she texted me saying her barn flooded and camp was cancelled. I asked for a refund seeing as I paid her HOURS before and she said no. She obviously knew she was going to cancel, but still accepted my payment. She said she had already spent it. She only offered credit for Summer. (Which I was not happy about). When I tried to explain that it was hard on my family to be out $600 she started ranting on and on about how the city owes her family money and land. She had no care or compassion for how others felt she just wanted for herself. I held my tongue thinking I might use the credit in the Summer. I didn't want to cause drama if for a small reason I still let my children attend. She even had the audacity to ask for another $100 donation after I had NEVER even experienced camp. Then after winter camp being cancelled, Spring camp was also cancelled. She didn't even know where Summer camp would be or when, but still said I could only keep credit. After reading about all the other people in town having horrible stories, I decided to ask again for a refund since we would not be using our Summer Credit. Again, she had no willingness to help refund my money, even a partial amount. She is not fingerprinted to work with kids, she has no camp license (or at least has not been able to show me one) and she is incredibly rude. As a local teacher in town I would NOT TRUST kids with her.

Before approaching the Surf Adventures, I looked for other surf classes. Some classes require beginner attend their introduction class before proceeding to a practical class, and the classes are set in different days and charged separately. I found the surfing class in Surf Adventures is a very authentic, price-worthy option for me as a beginner who wants a quick result in learning surfing. Although in the beginning, the Surf Adventures miscommunicated the change of location, the staff reached me right away and committed to giving me a complete 2-hour, fully experienced class despite the class has been delayed for 45 minutes. Patrick is the best, I hurt my foot during surfing and barely can walk, he gave me first-aid and helped me got to my car and made sure I can drive home before he left. I would recommend the surfing class to a beginner.

BEST WEDDING VENUE EVER!…read more My husband and I dreamed of a wedding where everyone could stay together onsite, immersed in nature, with no worries about driving after a night of fun, and Camp Osito Rancho made that dream a reality. Our families stayed in the health center, lodge, and electrified cabins, while our friends embraced the adventure of summer cabins and tents. The venue offers so many stunning spaces, from the spacious dining hall for meals to the stage/amphitheater with fire pits--perfect for s'mores and late-night stories. We exchanged vows at the top of a hill near the outdoor pavilion, with a gorgeous backdrop of pine trees and a view of Big Bear Lake in the distance. We were able to offer our guests camp activities like archery and a pool day, as well as had room to setup other activities like craft tables and lawn games. The biggest perk was the complete freedom to choose our own vendors, allowing us to create a truly personalized experience (huge shoutout to Scratch Kitchen for catering--our guests still rave about the food). We spent a year making signs, collecting décor, buying solar lights, and crafting to transform this Girl Scout camp into a full-blown wedding festival. If you're up for planning the details, this venue is the ultimate blank canvas. Last but not least, the Camp Osito Rancho team is absolutely amazing. A huge thanks to Angel for her help throughout the year, Ryan for his help throughout the weekend, and to Gerardo for the tour that sold us from the start. For a wedding that feels like an unforgettable getaway, this place is pure magic
