As others have noted, you…read moresubmit a service tech issue complaining of the system being down, and no one ever returns the call or emails back. The only way you will get to talk with someone is by retrying your call numerous times in hopes of talking to a tech. AND never let them say they will call you back with a resolution because they won't. My internet has been down all week, and I still haven't been able to get them to resolve it. Starry Internet is constantly down because of "service disruptions." Their customer service is…read morereally bad. They do not reply to emails. Reaching out via chat is pointless because all they will do is tell you to restart your router. The last agent named Harshit lied and said it was going to apply a credit as well as a prommotion code for $10 off the next 12 months. He also said he would prioritize someone following up. None of which ever happened. I've been without internet service for the last 5 days. You cannot talk to a manager. You have to wait for a callback. No one still has reached out.

It's easy to see how knowledgable, experienced and detailed-oriented she is. This year I was late with a couple documents. Kim revised our return, saved us around $300 and didn't charge us any extra.

This is my third year using Coet and Coet for my business and personal taxes and I cannot say…read moreenough good things about them. They are not the least expensive accounting firm in the area, but they more than earn back their fee in the time, money and stress that they save you. Fran is very meticulous and attentive to detail while still being very warm and easy to work with, and their entire process is laid out for you in an electronic organizer that they provide, so that you know if you're missing any documents that they need to prepare your return. Additionally, if you have a corporation, I highly recommend having Coet2 prepare your quarterly payroll and year-end corporate taxes. These seem like a small thing, but accounting is my most hated business task and payroll taxes used to cause me a lot of problems. Coet2's staffer Barb Arnold now handles everything for me and has completely streamlined my payroll process at a very reasonable cost. In addition, no one at Coet2 ever pushes the additional services that they offer, but they are there if you need them (QuickBooks classes, financial planning, etc.). Highly recommended, and I have dealt with 4 accountants over the life of my business, so I have a good basis to offer a recommendation.

I was charged $275 for a 15 minute phone call in January to discuss my particular situation. I…read moreprovided the documentation requested from that call and expected a follow up. Two weeks later I received a generic email about tax deadlines. No mention of my previous consultation. My replies to this mail went unanswered. I called and was told nothing had been received and was sent forms to fill out for standard tax filing services to be billed at the "standard rate." I emailed twice asking what the standard rate was and again they simply did not reply. Now I'm down $275, have no answer for my original call, and they're totally ignoring me. I have to scramble now to get my taxes done and have no answer for my original call. They moved locations in December and cannot be reviewed on Google either. I do not recommend this company.

When I moved from CA to CO, I had to take on the daunting task of replacing my kickbutt business…read moreaccountant and a bookkeeper that was not doing the greatest job. And let me tell you, the search for a new one in Colorado was not a fun process. Most of the firms I reached out to (1) never responded, (2) were fully booked, or (3) were far from professional. Tricia and her team were a breath of fresh air -- responding to my inquiry quickly, jumping on a call with me right away to learn more about my needs and whether they could meet them, and creating a custom proposal based on what kind of assistance I was looking for. I've been working with the team since Jan 2019 and they have been an absolute delight. My bookkeeping is done in a timely manner, books are done correctly (finally!) and my complicated taxes were not as stressful as they could have been thanks to O'Connor & Co. Most importantly, I have a team who has their eye on the big picture and helps me strategize ways to improve finances and save on taxes...something I appreciate as a business owner. As an added bonus, Tricia and her team have actually made the process fun, something I would have never put on my list of must-have criteria. If you're searching for a great team to handle your business' bookkeeping and taxes, look no further. O'Connor & Co will exceed your expectations and provide a breath of fresh air in a rather tired industry that often forgets about customer experience.

I've worked with Tricia since she was in her office space uptown about 10 years ago. Here's what I…read morecan say: 1. She knows her stuff. If you have a tricky tax problem, she can help you. I fancy myself "smart" from time to time, and more than once I've researched Tricia's recommendations to make sure I was getting good advice. I've always been happy. 2. Knowledge does not come cheap. If you're looking for some CPA to do some data entry at tax time (basically, following the prompts from some piece of software like the clowns at the mall kiosks), move along. Tricia is not for you. If you're a small business owner trying to navigate a business entity classification + a marriage + a home sale + some investment tax issues + an interstate move - and do all of this via phone and email while you're traveling on your extended honeymoon - this is who you want. 3. Speaking of the IRS, Tricia is ethical, but she works to minimize your bill. I've never felt uneasy with anything, but I've also never felt like we left money on the table. In years passed, I've done the 'tax kiosk' thing and missed deductions/credits. Never again. 4. She's fun. I enjoy talking to her. She's got great energy, and she's passionate about her job. I admire that, considering I'm about as passionate about tax time as I am about dental surgery. So, there you have it. Happy customer since 2008, and Tricia is the only person I call when I need tax advice/help. NOTE: I see someone else reviewed Tricia and said she was expensive, and here's my counter: Saving a couple hundred bucks doesn't appeal to me when a mistake can cost thousands.
