My interactions with Shawna the physical therapist and PT assistants were fantastic…read more My experience with Pittman Physical Therapy has led me to believe that they are not a financially trustworthy organization. On my first day of physical therapy, the lady at the front desk told me that she had looked up my insurance and that I hadn't met my deductible yet. I was informed that I would be charged $140 for the first visit and $100 for each of the following visit 7 visits. I was asked to sign some documentation that this billing information was correct and that I was responsible for looking up and confirming my insurance status. In the moment, this seemed wildly expensive and not correct, but I handed her my HSA card and paid for the first visit. The next day I was able to get in contact with my insurance company. They informed me that a claim had not been filed yet and that I did not have a deductible for physical therapy, but a co-pay. This information left me perplexed as it countered what I was told by the physical therapy office. I called and spoke with the front desk lady who had given me the initial wrong information. She told me that she had consulted with a generic website that showed her my insurance information. I asked her how she "knew" that my deductible was not met yet and her response deflected the question. I informed her that I did not have a deductible, but a co-pay, and again asked her about how she knew my deductible hadn't been met. She deflected again. I told her it felt like she had lied to me about my insurance information and she got very defensive saying, "I'm just a human and we all make mistakes." In my personal opinion, a mistake would have been just telling someone the wrong information, but to make up information and tell it to someone (and have greater financial gain) is frankly dishonest. At my next visit she had me sign a new financial agreement with the correct numbers on them. At my following visit, I asked the front desk lady for an itemized receipt of my first few visits (to give to my HSA). She snapped, I can't get that for you right now. However, by the time I finished the appointment she had provided me with an itemized receipt. On the day of my last visit, the front desk lady told me, "if we owe you anything, you'll get a check in the mail." A few days after my last visit I had the opportunity to leave an internal review of my experience. I was honest and fair in my review. I received a phone call that afternoon from someone within the company; he heard me out. However, before he finished the call, he asked me if there was anything he could do for me. I asked him to find out if I owed any money or was going to receive a check in return. He said he would let me know. It has now been over a month and I have not heard from Pittman physical therapy. My interactions with everyone, but the physical therapist and PT assistants, have been repeatedly unprofessional and suspicious and really make me have a hard time trusting Pittman Physical Therapy. I can't imagine I'm the only one this sort of behavior is happening with. I won't go back, nor do I recommend them.

I was referred by one of my employees knowing I hate needles! It had already been four months and the daily pain was more than advil could handle. I met with Dr. Ly, she listened, asked questions about my FEMALE health history that none of the other specialist event inquired about. What? That counts? I was able to move the first day off the table. We set up a course of treatment and 6 months later i am moving like my old self. Still in recovery, but could not recommend their services more for pain management!

This time I have been seeing Dr. Amy Ly. She and the whole staff have been terrific. When I first saw Dr. Ly my pain level was between a 7 and 8 all day every day. Now, after three sessions, my pain level has been reduced to a 2 or 3. While I know not everyone will have this type of results, I am grateful for the relief that I am finding. I will definitely continue to see Dr. Ly to treat my migraine and have been recommending Ly Natural Health to many whom have asked about my experience.

In just a few days post-surgery, I realized I was up against an injury like none I had ever experienced before and recovery was not going to be as easy as I had expected or hoped. This is where the great people at Holt Therapy came into play. They treated me with the greatest of care. Pushing me only as far as they felt I could go, limiting my pain and discomfort, assisting my recovery with every session. With their help and direction, I have made a great recovery and did it without experiencing all the horrible things others said they had experienced. Maybe they should have used Kevin, Beth, Margaret, and Candice at Holt Therapy. So, all I can say is if you are unfortunate enough to find that you are in need of physical rehabilitation check out this great group, you will not regret it.

Living a healthy lifestyle has always been important to me. I want to live a long and healthy life…read moreand feel like I'm 20 when I'm 90. I do tons of reading on how to keep the body young and try to remove as many toxins from my life as possible. I don't drink alcohol (very often); I eat organic, I stay away from processed foods (you know the things that most of us are trying these days). I workout and ride my bike, I do all the things we are suppose to do to stay forever young and it has worked, for the most part. I recently decided I wanted to find ways to feel the BEST I can possible feel. For me feeling great was no longer good enough. I want to feel unbelievably great. I want to wake up in the morning and think, "hell, I feel damn good today!" When people in the office ask how I'm doing, I want to respond, "it is not possible to feel any better." That's how amazing I want to feel. That's when I decided to try acupuncture. I had a couple of friends tell me to go see Dr. Ly. I had noticed significant changes in both of them, and they both attributed those changes to Dr. Ly. That was proof enough for me that it was at least worth checking out. I've now seen Dr. Ly three times, all three times I have done a "balance visit" since I don't have anything wrong with me. Since seeing Dr. Ly, I have noticed I am sleeping like a bear in the middle of hibernation at night. During the day, I have a lot more energy, and I seem to be so much more productive. I plan to continue my session with Dr. Ly indefinitely. If you are looking to feel more balanced or need a body reset, I recommend you give this place a try. Oh, one last thing. I HATE needles. Acupuncture is NOT painful, and the needles do not hurt. That is an urban myth or legend or whatever it means when lies get passed down from generation to generation.
