Rarely write a negative review but this one is warranted. Not a fan of these guys. They show up whenever want to without scheduling first unless you request it, they make you sign a lengthy contract and make it hard to cancel. I tried to cancel via email because I signed up with a different company that is local to me and a family friend that isn't hours away. They told me I had to call to cancel. Upon calling they told me I had to pay $80 to cancel my service which is frustrating considering I've been a customer since 2022. They said it's because I moved last year. We have had Peak Pest Control for the last year and every time they serviced our yard, I had to have them come back. It's as if they only used water! I have contacted the company several times about cancelling our contract when it's finished because I did NOT want to continue their service. They came out to service ON THEIR OWN and are now sending me to collections over 47 bucks! Terrible company to deal with in every way! read more

I have video footage of your service man walking through my flower beds putting the granules down in the flower beds when we specifically asked to not have poison put down there. I've worked very hard to curate a pollinator friendly flower garden and your poison and careless bug guy just un-did everything. No more bees, praying mantises, lady bugs, butterflies,etc. Wish I could give zero stars. read more

Update: 11/28/22 - I continue in my quest to cancel these services. A tech arrived at our house, unannounced, on 11/17 (I did get a text later in the day). I expressed that we did not need or want the services - the tech was confused and the office called me. I explained that I was in a meeting at work and they would not agree to call me later. Today I am again getting the run around on how to stop services. I understand the contract. This company is out for money and is not interested in customer service. 0/10 do not recommend. We signed up for Peak Pest control as they came into our neghborhood soliciting door to door. They had a great sales pitch and promised specific results around controlling wasp populations. We have a family member that is allergic to yellow jackets. After three services the wasp population has not been controlled and we had a paper wasp nest being built in the front of the house in a specific location we have treated to deter wasps. When I called to get the nest removed they were unable to come to my house for over a week to remove the nest (allowing it to grow even larger and more dangerous). When the tech arrived, he was completely unaware that he was at the house to remove the nest, luckily we were home to point out was we needed him to do. He did knock down the nest and sprayed it. Meanwhile all of the "good bugs" have been killed and there isn't a honey bee, praying mantis or lady bug that survives in our yard (which I asked specifically about and they said "nope all of the pollinators will be alright in your yard). When I called to express my dissatisfaction there is no way out of the contract without a cancellation fee (which basically pays for all of the services that I would like to not recieve). I asked if they could be sure to cancel our services at the end of our contract and they shared that they "can't do that". So I asked if I would be noticed when my last service happens, again "no". They will simply continue to come even after my contract is up and charge me for services. So I will call again once we have recieved the final services. My recommendation is to ask a lot of questions and get their contract info prior to accepting services. Sleep on it. Friendly warning: if you are considering using PEAK Pest Control, DON'T!! They have a nearly inescapable cancellation clause and they will try to force you to accept and pay for 1 last service when you attempt to cancel your subscription, and if you decline the last service for your child's health reasons they will charge you anyway! We entered a contract with Peak Pest Control. They serviced our property twice & just before the 3rd service they decided it was too far to drive, even though they have areas they travel farther to. The owner is a petulant child. I wouldn't recommend this company to anyone, ever! read more

Monday 6 April This is one company I definitely would stay away from. I feel that due to my experiences with them. Everything they do in my estimation is a lie. Lie #1. When they came to my house, their representative told me that they could guarantee they could get rid of the voles in my yard, so I told them to go ahead. They came three times during the summer or early fall with absolutely no results nor improvement. Lie #2. My charge was supposed to be $89.00 per visit. When I got my Master Charge bill they had raised my bill to $99.00 Lie #3. When I emailed them back to discontinue my service when they again were going to visit me, I was told that I would be charged a separation fee of $109.00 because of the contract I signed. I told their office manager, Megan, that they hadn't fulfilled their part of the contract, so I felt that they should not charge me a separation fee. Talking to her was like talking to a brick wall. So in my estimation, she has limited or no skills in trying to solve people's problems with their company. When I received her statement via email, she hadn't charged me $109.00. Instead, she billed my card for $119.00. If I was to give her a grade based on a scale from 1 - 10, I would have to give them a negative rating based on my experiences with them. Finally in desperation realizing that I was getting nowhere with Megan (the office manager), I told her I wanted to talk to her supervisor. No luck. "He is busy on the phone". I then gave my name and telephone number and asked for her to have the company president or person in charge to give me a call. As of this date, 9 April, I still have not heard from her higher-up, so they must not care about their clients/customers. I will do all that is in my power to discourage anyone from utilizing this company, and I even told Megan that during our conversation. This had no affect on her. So, just stay away from them. Mislead into a year long contract. All the other 1-star reviews confirm this. I have had multiple phone conversations and the manager will not let me contact the owner to complain. They are content with taking my money even though I asked them to stop coming. Their rationale is that I agreed to their contract even though the sales kid did not tell me the truth. But hey, they are just a "small family business" so they can't work with me on canceling the service. read more

Dishonest bait and switch company. Will tell you that you are signing a receipt and then sign you up for a year contract without ever showing you a contract or even telling you about the fact they signed you up for one and then will charge you hundreds to cancel. Dont fall for it people. If a business has to go door to door to get your business then they are likely not very good and whatever you do NEVER sign a receipt on someone's phone or tablet. I called Jeff after another Pest control company called and he promptly came out to review my problem. He was straight forward, and he quick set up live rabbit traps and caught the culprits within hours I no longer had a rabbit issue. He used humane traps and no harm came to the rabbits. read more

Be very careful, their product did not work @ my house. I called them and cancelled service. The will not let me out of any contract. They are more worried about collecting money than customer service. They came out twice to my house, I still had spiders. I put down store bought product, spiders are all but gone. They were soliciting our neighborhood, the sales person talked us into using them. Buyer beware !!! read more

And I was approached in my yard by a Salesman stating that they were in the neighborhood and would it be glad to do my house for half price I didn't fall for it a couple weeks weeks later I was contacted by the salesmen again stating that he would be in the neighborhood so I have paid them to do that treatment although he mentioned that he needed to do a follow-up on which I agreed, the worker then had me sign stating that the areas and work had been done for that treatment, they notified me about the second treatment in which I paid for as well, and then they notify me about the third treatment I told them I did not need the third treatment the next thing I knew she was sending me a contract stating that I signed it for a year service approximately $90 a month I was shocked, calling the company and ask them how in the heck did they get my signature on this contract the only thing I can think is they shifted the signature from the workers tablet to a contract in which I had never seen and now in order to cancel the service I have to pay an early contract cancellation fee what a shady way to do business I did not even want them to come and do the touch ups the first two didn't work I don't like doing business with Shady people. buyer beware read more
