We weren't sure how to maintain or possibly repair our travertine tile and grout in our house so we asked Matt for recommendations and an estimate. He came out, evaluated the tile, and was candid in revealing that much of the wear of our tile was typical, and that most interventions to maintain cosmetic appearance often yielded little appreciable result but came with high cost. Moreover, he mentioned that based on the type of grout we have, the best thing we can do is regular routine cleaning and he recommended a safe sealant that could be applied ourselves. We really appreciated his time and honesty!

Ever since we remodeled three…read moreyears ago and had new ceramic tile installed, we had not been happy with the grout color or the ability to keep it clean. Seeing a print ad, we called The Grout Doctor. JJ was prompt in his reply and on-time for the appointment to see our problem and give an estimate. We found him to be thorough and knowledgeable. His estimate was based on square footage and was reasonable. We agreed on a date for the work to be done, less than a week out. JJ himself arrived on-time and was the one-man crew. His work was labor intensive, on the floor on hands and knees. He cleaned and stripped the tile floors, re-colored the grout and sealed it all in one day. This guy is a hard worker! Our floors are finally the way we want them. In addition, JJ was very respectful of our home, and when he left there was absolutely no additional clean up to be done. JJ knows his stuff, does a good job, works hard and is a very pleasant and personable young man.

I got several competitive bids but they were the only crew that walked through my house and pointed out things that I was not aware of and they even suggested ways to save me money which any homeowner can appreciate! They were extremely timely in their responses and highly communicative and patient when I had questions, when I needed them to coordinate purchasing and picking up product, and even when I changed the scope of the project.
