Unnecessary treatments, no numbing application was applied for my veneer when getting it put on,…read morereally high-end prices I decided to go here because I saw good reviews on here. I will say I have had no issues with the staff and they've all been very kind even doctor Denny as well no issues as far as hospitality. In fact, I loved everyone there. As far as the appointments, though, something was off and a little fishy. He had said one tooth had too many fillings and it needed a veneer so I did that and it was a huge amount of money. I think it was around $800. After that I had problems with the tooth and he said it could've been a hairline fracture or it could need a cap and he was ready to schedule an appointment for that. Not only that is he pointed out that I had about three teeth with cavities in it. I also asked him to shave down my teeth and some areas from some bad fillings. I had gotten previously from a different dentist and he never did that for me. I decided to go to Kendall Rhodes associates. They didn't find any of the cavities. There was nothing wrong with the tooth that he wanted to fix a hairline fracture for. Not only that is on a very first appointment the dentist smooth out my fillings without me having to ask, she knows it and said how terrible and just went into it. I'm blown away. I want to believe that this is a good dentist and that money isn't a contributing factor to the decisions he made on my teeth. But I'm having a really hard time justifying all the money that I've spent. I'm very thankful I went to another dentist where I feel like they aren't just trying to milk my money.

What a disappointment to deal with the person who answers the phone there. I had an appointment…read morebut could not make it on time to call and cancel. I ruptured my Achilles tendon and was off my feet, on narcotics, and on bedrest for 3 straight weeks and during that time I did call, explain, and reschedule. I'm also a high school teacher and work until 3:00 just for clarification. The appointment I rescheduled was their last of the day (3:30) if I recall correctly. F'n traffic from Carp to SB after school (usually 10-15 minutes at most but this time it was an accident along with 101 road work). I called from my car and told them that the unexpected traffic would delay me and either I need to cancel again and reschedule or I would be there as soon as possible but a little late, if they didn't mind waiting 15 minutes. The lady on the phone said to reschedule if I couldn't make the appointment time "even if traffic is my excuse". Now I'm a liar, I guess. So here we are now, summer time, no school or traffic to deal with. No more excuses from me. I did call to reschedule and now they won't take my appointment. Yes, I missed two appointments that were out of my control. The complete no show was my fault. I shouldn't have ruptured my Achilles tendon. And excuse me for being a caring teacher who would rather schedule the last appointment of the day instead of take time off of work, away from students. In summary (0 Stars if allowed) Unfriendly person answering phone. Unsympathetic to legit medical reason for the no-show. Awkward hours. They don't like teachers or education of our youth. I'm wondering if my last name has anything to do with them not wanting to care for me. What other Perios are around SB that do care for brown teachers? Let me know because I've got work for them... unless my teeth fall out first waiting for an appointment.

He is arguably the best dentist in town. The ambiance and design of the office is absolutely gorgeous. A historic building, it is stunning in every way. I could just sit in the waiting room and read all day it's so lovely. Decked with orchids, a fantastic aroma from a warming candle, sparkling water and a Nespresso machine, the waiting room is divine. Some of the dental "rooms"(?) even contain a living wall lush with verdant plants for a beautiful and relaxing environment. Don't walk, run those chompers straight into Dr.Blake's office!

You can't schedule in advance more than a few weeks out for a some reason, they never answer the phone, and there's some hard sell procedure on every visit to try to extract more money from you. They are aggressive on billing, they actually brought the credit card machine into the room during my treatment to pay *during* my filling. Other times they call and email over and over to collect bills I already paid. They won't do a cleaning and exam on the same visit, you have to do 2 separate appointments and they won't do a cleaning unless you sit through the hard sell and agree to the procedures they want to do. They got annoyed when I asked a question about what they wanted to do to my mouth and said I shouldn't ask questions because it "affects the quality of care they can provide" . Um no, answering patients' questions is exactly how you DO provide quality care, not the other way round. No one ever answers the phone so you have to ask questions during the appointment but they just want to crank your teeth into dollars and keep quiet I guess. Had to go back 2 more times to get a filling smoothed out because they were so rushed the filling was lumpy and rough and I couldn't get floss around it. They were annoyed with me that they did crappy work to begin with. I stopped going here after that. It's a drill-mill, good luck.
