He takes the time to listen to my concerns and goals, really thinks about the issue, and comes up with a realistic plan that has me feeling better asap. Most recently I came in for some foot pain that the doctor was sure was tendonitis, Jeff realized it was an alignment issue, and resolved weeks of pain with one adjustment! For issues that require home exercises, it's easy to sometimes do the right movements with the wrong muscles. Jeff makes sure you learn how to do them with helpful physical and verbal queues as you're doing them, which makes a huge difference in how relevant they feel and how effective they are. I'm so grateful to Pro pt for keeping me healthy and doing the activities I enjoy, I recommend them to all my friends, the people at my gym, servers at restaurants, anyone who needs or might need a physical therapist!

He was the second doctor working in a building with a physical therapy clinic that steered me there. They are extremely thorough, knowledgable, and take all the time necessary to make sure they understand your issues. And the follow up to fine tune the treatment is also exceptional. I currently go to their office in Cross Plains, and it deserves as much praise as the home office.

Fair enough and my apologies for overlooking that by including my update in the Fit Fresh review. Hybrid shows real results via several ads that run in the WSJ. I was willing to pay the cost to join for those results in the time frame I had to complete. The bonus: I had a friend complete the program and although he's male (and men lose weight faster) I saw the same results in him and took his feedback to heart. So I was really excited to start the meal plan first and complete my bootcamp contract out then go over to Hybrid. My personal experience: The place appears to be clean and well kept. Hybrid Fitness apparently excutes the BCOR bootcamp committment in this area until someone else is able to handle the downtown/east/suburbian areas. I signed up with Bcor anticipating the start of my experience at the end of July 2012. Because of my previous experience and most recent email contact I decided this may not be smart to attend. I got unnerved after receiving a Yelp email that the Fit Fresh review received a response, but it was removed (no real issue there) + I received a harrasing message referring to my review via my inbox. So combine that inbox message with the removed message - call me smart to be nervous and suscipicous. Now, I'm over my fears of the Yelp stalker or at least the fears don't outweigh my hope in meeting my new deadline before having to report back to the unit. To that end, I'll report back in 90days how the workouts go.

Holy crap we found it - literally - with Hybrid Athletic Club! Want to do CrossFit stuff with turf, sleds to push/pull, ropes (both hanging and battle), dead balls, wallballs, a rig, GHDs, rowers, you name it? Got it. Want to do standard bodybuilding with dumbbells, barbells, basic selectorized machines or regular cardio on ellipticals or treadmills or step mills or an air bike or ....? Got it! The two women who own it are super nice and it's obvious they are REALLY trying to do well by their members. In the mind blown category, as if what I already said isn't enough, one of the owners, who is OBVIOUSLY a MUCH better person than me, remembered my name from the previous day. Huh? Yep. She came over to me as I was foam rolling and said "Hi David" - think about that, I'm in town for three days, I'll never have a full on membership there due to where I live, and she remembered my name. Hell, I go to the LA Fitness 3x/week and I can't even get the counter person to say high when they are HOLDING the fob scanner 18 inches away from me! It gets even better. They are a 24/7 facility with fob access. So we got a fob, paid the very reasonable fee for our three days of use and we were all set - we could come and go as we pleased, any day or time we wanted. That's almost weird it's so good - since it wasn't a globo Anytime Fitness and the like. The 2nd day I saw something I've NEVER seen in my 33 years as a gym rat and probably NEVER will again. There was a CrossFit class going on AND there was figure/bodybuilding/physique posing clinic going on in other areas of the gym. Think about THAT - CrossFit and physique co-existing in the same building? Yep - and since I love both it was pretty freakin cool to see. We will definitely be back to this facility when we return next year - this is OUR gym while we're in town now. We just wish there was such a place in Springfield. If I had more than two thumbs I'd give it more than two thumbs up - same goes for the five stars.

You can also buy an open gym membership to use their facilities as you like. They have 1:1 trainers too. Periodic one-time events like teen boot camps and drum circles and meditation happen, which is cool and different. Everyone is nice and super helpful. The owners (Jeff and Rebecca) are wonderful. I always feel well supported and looked out for. I have belonged to Harbor Athletic, Anytime Fitness and 24hr Fitness previously and this is a much nicer, holistic, friendly gym for me.

But I, who am disabled so admittedly stammer, have been unable to get them to call me back. I feel really bad leaving this review, and am happy to amend or correct it once I get a callback so that I can begin my exercise routine which I am very excited about beginning because I have seen health improvements in the past from working with a trainer.

I have had back problems for over 20 years. I checked out the Foundation Training books from the…read morelibrary and tried doing the exercises on my own, but something wasn't quite right. YouTube helped a little, but there is a lot going on in each exercise, and I wanted to make sure I was doing the exercises correctly. So, I went to the Foundation Training website and found Mona's (one of the Studio Melt owners) name - she is one of only two Foundation Training practitioners in the area. Two weeks after taking Foundation Training classes at Melt my back was better. Regular classes have helped it say healthy. There is nothing like it in town, and Mona explains every exercise in great detail, gives constant cues and will come around and correct your form in every class. You buy a class pass and attend as you please. There are other services and classes at Melt too (Yamuna ball rolling for example), but I only do the Foundation Training classes regularly. I tried Yamuna ball rolling once and also liked it. Melt and Mona have been a life saver.

I also stayed for a Body Chisel class which was awesome, unique and just the right amount of challenging. I got a GREAT workout and wish that Melt studio was in my own city. The fee from the bank to the company is a cost of doing business that they are passing onto the customer in order to save money. If the heating bill goes up, will that expense be passed onto the members? What if the pool breaks down? Let's be honest, and please take down all the signs. I don't need to be gaslit when I am working out.

It has helped increase my physical strength, as that was my goal, but mentally, I am in a much better head space and I look forward to these workouts as it is a great way to start the day! If you can't remember so well, just look to the person to your right or left, chances are they know what is going on. YMMV. Jessica always takes the time to find the root problem, explain it with as little or as much detail as I can handle, then assigns exercises or stretches that will fix the problem. Her gentle but precise touch can release even the most stubborn knots or painful strains. Do your stretches or exercises, if it hurts she can modify your routine until you have overcome that issue. Nathan is always professional, helpful and courteous, helping to schedule appointments, answer any questions or deal with insurance billing.

Jessica and Nate are extraordinarily nice, professional, and know. their. stuff. I met with Jessica, who lead me through a series of movements and helped me assess what was going on. She walked me through how I could make changes in my day to day activities to ease the pain. After a couple of appointments I felt MUCH better and have since become more mindful of my movements (how I sleep, how I sit) and haven't experienced pain since. I highly recommend this duo!
